Wedding Music Bands in Lancaster

The Colgan-Hirsch Band was great at our wedding. I was a little worried when we played email tag, but the day of everything was great. Also, there was a little problem with our songs that we gave them on a jump drive, but we can blame iTunes for that. And they fixed the problem by downloading them theirselves and getting them played for us. Everyone is still talking about how great they were and how much fun they had at the wedding. We ultimiately choose this band because it was recommended to us by a talented muscian friend and they were exactly the 8 peice band we wanted. They dont play as many new songs, but they are talented and do an awesome job with traditional songs. Their price was very reasonable also.

From the pre-wedding walkthrough all the way through our customized private last dance, Ethan and the band were amazing and very eager to bring our vision to life. Ethan played keyboard for our ceremony and learned 3 special songs for us outside of his already solid set list, including You’ve Got A Friend In Me to make a very special moment for our flower girls + ring bearer. Throughout the wedding (and all our interactions leading up to the wedding) he was professional, always willing to accommodate and helped us turn our kid-friendly wedding into such a memorable evening. He also stepped in as DJ during reception introductions, and played special first dance songs from our playlist. The band juggled moving from 3 setup locations (ceremony + cocktail hour + reception + back to cocktail hour location for dancing) throughout the evening without missing a beat! When we ended up veering off schedule from our master timeline, Ethan quickly jumped in and worked with myself and our coordinator to get us all back on track, including ensuring we were queued-up with our custom-request music for cake cutting and our parent dances. I truly believe we would have missed some very special moments had Ethan not been there and I am very grateful for not only the band’s genuine talent and range, but Ethan’s kind, considerate nature. Ethan - thank you for your flexibility & ALL your support making our wedding day special. Jon from DMG was also extremely knowledgeable and made the transactional bits and planning process a breeze. John and Jenny offered beautiful and customized acoustic guitar/ukelele and violin instrumentals for wedding ceremony and band members joined for cocktail hour. Alternative folk band offered great, danceable folk music for reception. Very prompt and professional. Provided own sound equipment. Jazz Me was fantastic. They met with my husband and I ahead of time to make sure our style of music was played at our wedding. They played great dinner music and great music to get everyone out on the dance floor. They are a tremendous value, with personalities to match. They have even been voted the best band in Harrisburg several times.

We would highly, HIGHLY recommend Low Jack for anyone searching for the perfect wedding band. Not only are they the nicest group of people but they are beyond talented, professional and fun to work with. From start to finish, they had everything planed out perfectly. We had them play our ceremony acoustically (which we were told had everyone in tears), then our cocktail hour which was the perfect vibe and music selection. They kept the party going all night, playing some of our favorite songs. They have so many songs in their repertoire so all the music they played were songs we loved and everyone loved to party to. We had friends travel in from all over the country and they all kept raving about how fantastic our band was- even months after our wedding!!! If you are on the fence you should go see them play one night. I promise you will be blown away!! I wish I could upload videos on here! Thank you Low Jack!!

We had Central City Orchestra at our daughter's wedding. They were the absolute life of the party! Their musicianship is amazing. Their song choices are fantastic. They come across with such positivity and personality. They are a total class act. We loved the horn section, we loved the voices, we loved how they kept everyone dancing the entire night. They were flexible and worked with us incredibly well to get everything in that we wanted. They are such a contrast to the typical generic wedding band. They were just absolutely the perfect! We can't recommend them enough!

Key points: Easy to work with Plays music for everyone Flawless execution An unforgettable party! Shallow 9 blew the roof off at our wedding reception! The dance floor was packed all night because the band did such a great job reading the vibe of the room. They have a wide range of music anywhere from Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton to The real Slim Shady to Pink Pony Club and Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard! During the planning process, we had a meeting and a few phone calls with Todd to iron out any details and he knew exactly what they needed to do so that we didn't have to stress about them at all! Shallow 9 was flawless while MCing and playing music at our wedding reception. We've been told that it was an unforgettable party for everyone at the reception, and a major part of that was thanks to Shallow 9. My wife and I would recommend Shallow 9 to play at any event, especially a wedding!!

Funktion was the perfect addition to our wedding! They were great to work with in planning our preferred song list - they have a large variety of originals and cover songs. The band members are very talented and just a fun group overall - they were engaging to our guests and really made our reception a time to remember. They had everyone up and dancing the night away!!
