GruvTyme is a eight piece party band well known in the tri-state area as one of the premier wedding and corporate bands. GruvTyme features dynamic vocalists and seasoned musicians that reproduce your favorite songs. You won't need to plan your event with a sales person, manage or some other non-musician whom you will not actually see during your reception. Our Master of Ceremonies is your single point of contact. We will guide you throughout all the planning stages of your event. We also have extensive connection in the industry to help assist in finding other vendors like flowers, catering, facilites, etc. Your satisfaction is our number one priority. We understand that this is the one event in a lifetime that you want to go smoothly.

Where to even begin? Gruvtyme played our 10/25/25 wedding, and hiring them was the BEST decision we could have made. From early stages of planning, my husband was dead set on having a band instead of a DJ (so truthfully, he gets all the credit for finding this hidden gem). They were 100% worth the investment!
We had one goal for our reception - to get everyone dancing the night away - and that mission was definitely accomplished. Gruvtyme played a wide variety of songs, so there was something for everyone to enjoy and sing along to. In addition to learning the songs for our first dance, mother/son dance, and father/daughter dances, they even learned a One Direction song the week of the wedding after I mentioned that they were my favorite band. I don't think you can be more accommodating or amazing than that!
Since our wedding, our friends and family haven't stopped mentioning how amazing Gruvtyme was and how they had the best time. Seriously, the only time the dance floor was empty was when we were eating dinner. My biggest tip: add on the horns! A live band adds such incredible energy, and the additional pieces brought the music to a new level. You need to have Gruvtyme at your wedding!
