Our Style We like to consider ourselves the band that's most in-tune with the modern Bride & Groom. Being that all band members are all aged in our mid to late 20's, we identify with current wedding styles & trends! That said, we will not be playing any of those corny, dated - cheeseball songs! During the band's sets, we begin with all the great Motown R&B Pop hits that will keep Mom, Dad, Aunt Edna, etc all on the dance floor and then transition throughout the evening into 80s-Current Pop hits like Michael Jackson, Prince, Rihanna, Spin Doctors, Lady Gaga etc... and rounding out the evening with current Pop and Classic Rock hits from Journey to Bon Jovi and Van Halen. Our mission is to involve EVERYONE, age 5-75 into the party!

Our Experience Boston Common Band is the multi-year ‘Best of Boston’ award winning wedding, private function and club band serving both New England, NYC and Philly regions. Comprised of recently graduates from prestigious local music schools/programs of: Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, and Northeastern... We have had the opportunity to share the stage with artists from Earth,Wind & Fire, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Jason Mraz, Ben Folds, Genesis, The Deftones, Ben Folds Five, and many others.
We used the Boston Common Band for our wedding and I am trying to put the words together on how absolutely amazing this group is! Their Band and DJ package was the perfect choice for my wedding.
Planning our reception with the DJ was simple, fun, and really settled my nerves! I knew he had control of my event weeks before our big day! His announcements were perfect, and let me say that some of the names in my bridal party are fairly difficult to pronounce.
The band performance was unbelievable!! The songs they played kept people dancing all night! We didn't need to request a single song, they knew exactly what my guests wanted to hear to keep them going.
We also booked our up lighting with them, and the venue was beautiful beyond my imagination! The stage setup, lights and overall neatness of the band made my reception pictures look amazing! I would highly recommend this Band/DJ package to anyone! They are exceptional musicians, and true professionals. I'm so happy we booked them!
