Murray Hill Talent

Hiring Murray Hill talent (Flipside band) for our wedding day on 9/30/21 was easily one of the best decisions we made. I don’t even know where to begin! My husband is from a musical family, and had a very clear vision for what we wanted on our day. He worked with Corin to plan a surprise serenade in which the band learned our song and played alongside him. They also allowed my brother in law and groomsman to play/sing our first dance song. And not to mention they absolutely NAILED the playlist, fed off the crowd, and put on an incredible show that we and our guests are still raving about. We are so grateful to Flipside and especially Corin, who worked closely with us every step of the way despite the busiest wedding season they have ever had. We hope to find a reason to hire Flipside again in the future. Look no further and book them now - you will not regret it!!!

DJ Montro was a professional through and through. He worked with us prior to our wedding to set up all the little details we were looking for, and over delivered on the night of. During the cocktail hour and dinner service he introduced us as well as our speakers without any issue, even adjusting to a new location for after dinner speeches. The actual dancing was incredible, he read the room perfectly and had a wedding of 100+ on the dance floor for an entire 3 hours. We cannot thank him enough- he was seriously one of the biggest highlights of the wedding. Murray Hill in general was also incredible. We worked with Scott Arrington and he was actually the one who helped us hone in on DJ Montro based on what he knew we were looking for in a DJ. Cannot thank him enough for sending DJ Montro our way, as well as for being so quick to answer any and all of our questions. Murray Hill and DJ Montro were nothing short of amazing!

We used Murray Hill Talent for all of our wedding music - Scott for our reception DJ and Infinity Strings Quartet for our ceremony/cocktail hour music. They were amazing across the board! The Murray Hill team was very helpful and attentive during the planning process and has an incredible suite of musicians and artists in their portfolio. The Infinity Strings Quartet has an enormous repertoire of songs to choose from, and they beautifully performed all of our selections perfectly. DJ Scott was awesome and kept a crowd on the dance floor all night long! He met our preferences perfectly, and we enjoyed every single song. He also managed our ceremony sound and was super easy and helpful to work with!

We used Murray Hill Talent (Flipside band) for our entire wedding from the ceremony to the dancing at the end. They made it a very smooth and seamless experience, they had great advice about the space (they have done many boston public library weddings) and overall brought the house down on the dance floor. My guests loved them, many want to work with them for their own weddings and it was just the best experience you could ask for!

Scott was a fantastic DJ! We met with him before the wedding to go over our timeline for the day and to confirm our music requests and our comfort with guest requests (he lets you choose whether you want to accept all guest requests, only if they fit the vibe, or no guest requests). On the day of, the dancing was so much fun and we’ve already had a number of guests asking us for the playlist. He nailed all of it – the volume during dinner, playing the right thing to get everyone out on the dance floor, and keeping everything running smoothly. That was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and we felt so lucky to have him along with us!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band. They were professional, easy to work with, and absolutely crushed it on the big day. The energy was perfect all night, the dance floor was packed, and so many of our guests commented on how great the music was. They read the room perfectly and made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend.

For any couple who is looking for the perfect DJ to create the optimal environment for their wedding night, look no further.

Theresa & I could not have been more happy with picking Scott as our DJ to manage music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception portions for our wedding at Glen Magna Farms. From the get-go, Scott was incredibly professional, communicative and easy going. He was amazing at listening and taking into account our vision for the evening while politely interjecting to give his credible expertise on what type of flow/type of vibe would go best at which portion of the evening.

When Theresa & I shared that we wanted a live saxophonist to pair with his DJing, he introduced us to Chuck who also brought the stage down and was a huge crowd favorite for all of our guests. So many of our friends loved the DJ/live saxophonist combination and we're so appreciative of Scott and Murray Hill's support in turning our dreams into a reality.

We could not recommend Scott more to any couple getting married in the North Shore area!

Murray Hill had many DJs to choose from, and after watching all of their introductory videos and interviewing a few over the phone - we decided to go with Brendan Howard. I could not recommend Brendan enough! He figured out our exact taste in music and ran with it - every single song was a hit! He perfectly controlled the dance floor and everybody was having such a good time he had to work in a few slow songs to give us all a break! He made our night super special and is a beyond talented DJ.

We recently hired Julio Garcia from Murray Hill Talent for our wedding and had an amazing time! The dance floor ended up being too small because of the energy that Julio brought. Being a wedding between an Irish and a Peruvian family, the music played spanned genres, decades and languages - the transitions were one of one. Aside from the music, Julio helped MC the event as well, periodically checking in with us, helping organize extended family photos during cocktail hour and ensuring that he made the right choice as to when to start the music given that the dinner service was a bit behind. Would 1000% recommend Julio Garcia and Murray Hill Talent again!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tom from Murray Hill Talent as our guitarist for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and we truly can’t say enough good things. Tom is incredibly talented — he can play anything and match whatever vibe you're going for. Whether it was something romantic and slow for the ceremony or upbeat and fun for cocktail hour, he created the perfect mood throughout.

We sent over a list of song requests a few weeks before the wedding, and Tom was completely on board — no hesitation, no stress. He made the planning process feel so seamless and was such a calm, easygoing presence on the day itself. His music added such a magical touch to our celebration, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was.

Working with Murray Hill Talent was also a breeze — everything was smooth and professional from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend Tom and the entire team to anyone looking to elevate their wedding day with amazing live music.
