Above & beyond!

Hiring Murray Hill talent (Flipside band) for our wedding day on 9/30/21 was easily one of the best decisions we made. I don’t even know where to begin! My husband is from a musical family, and had a very clear vision for what we wanted on our day. He worked with Corin to plan a surprise serenade in which the band learned our song and played alongside him. They also allowed my brother in law and groomsman to play/sing our first dance song. And not to mention they absolutely NAILED the playlist, fed off the crowd, and put on an incredible show that we and our guests are still raving about. We are so grateful to Flipside and especially Corin, who worked closely with us every step of the way despite the busiest wedding season they have ever had. We hope to find a reason to hire Flipside again in the future. Look no further and book them now - you will not regret it!!!

Exactly what we were looking for

Scott was a fantastic DJ! We met with him before the wedding to go over our timeline for the day and to confirm our music requests and our comfort with guest requests (he lets you choose whether you want to accept all guest requests, only if they fit the vibe, or no guest requests). On the day of, the dancing was so much fun and we’ve already had a number of guests asking us for the playlist. He nailed all of it – the volume during dinner, playing the right thing to get everyone out on the dance floor, and keeping everything running smoothly. That was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and we felt so lucky to have him along with us!

Amazing Wedding Band

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band. They were professional, easy to work with, and absolutely crushed it on the big day. The energy was perfect all night, the dance floor was packed, and so many of our guests commented on how great the music was. They read the room perfectly and made the night unforgettable. Scott Arrington is the BEST. Hire him now!

For any couple who is looking for the perfect DJ to create the optimal environment for their wedding night, look no further.

Theresa & I could not have been more happy with picking Scott as our DJ to manage music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception portions for our wedding at Glen Magna Farms. From the get-go, Scott was incredibly professional, communicative and easy going. He was amazing at listening and taking into account our vision for the evening while politely interjecting to give his credible expertise on what type of flow/type of vibe would go best at which portion of the evening.

When Theresa & I shared that we wanted a live saxophonist to pair with his DJing, he introduced us to Chuck who also brought the stage down and was a huge crowd favorite for all of our guests. So many of our friends loved the DJ/live saxophonist combination and we're so appreciative of Scott and Murray Hill's support in turning our dreams into a reality.

We could not recommend Scott more to any couple getting married in the North Shore area!

Jon & Ryan Wedding 2025

Murray Hill had many DJs to choose from, and after watching all of their introductory videos and interviewing a few over the phone - we decided to go with Brendan Howard. I could not recommend Brendan enough! He figured out our exact taste in music and ran with it - every single song was a hit! He perfectly controlled the dance floor and everybody was having such a good time he had to work in a few slow songs to give us all a break! He made our night super special and is a beyond talented DJ.

Incredible!!

We recently hired Julio Garcia from Murray Hill Talent for our wedding and had an amazing time! The dance floor ended up being too small because of the energy that Julio brought. Being a wedding between an Irish and a Peruvian family, the music played spanned genres, decades and languages - the transitions were one of one. Aside from the music, Julio helped MC the event as well, periodically checking in with us, helping organize extended family photos during cocktail hour and ensuring that he made the right choice as to when to start the music given that the dinner service was a bit behind. Would 1000% recommend Julio Garcia and Murray Hill Talent again!

Tom was amazing!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tom from Murray Hill Talent as our guitarist for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and we truly can’t say enough good things. Tom is incredibly talented — he can play anything and match whatever vibe you're going for. Whether it was something romantic and slow for the ceremony or upbeat and fun for cocktail hour, he created the perfect mood throughout.

We sent over a list of song requests a few weeks before the wedding, and Tom was completely on board — no hesitation, no stress. He made the planning process feel so seamless and was such a calm, easygoing presence on the day itself. His music added such a magical touch to our celebration, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was.

Working with Murray Hill Talent was also a breeze — everything was smooth and professional from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend Tom and the entire team to anyone looking to elevate their wedding day with amazing live music.

Highly Recommend

We had Scott DJ for our wedding and would highly recommend him and Murray Hill Talent. From the intake questionnaires with our music preferences to the ceremony/reception planner, we felt very comfortable and organized throughout the planning process. Flipside - fantastic band!

We hired the band Flipside for our April 2025 wedding and it was the absolute highlight of our reception. Cory and Corin were so responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. The band sounded absolutely FANTASTIC and the music they selected and played kept everyone out on the dance floor all night long. The vocals were truly incredible- every song they played sounded fantastic. Afterwards so many guests commented on how amazing the band was. If you want to have the most fun, high energy wedding reception, hire Flipside!

Fantastic Wedding Band

Murray Hill Talent were wonderful to work with for our wedding. Flipside performed during the reception and they were incredible. All of our guests were blown away by the music and loved dancing the night away. Corin was super easy to work with and quick to answer any questions we had. Tom Pendergast played during the ceremony and cocktail hour and was also incredible. I'd highly recommend Murray Hill Talent to anyone looking for live music at their wedding

Amazing Evening

Murray Hill was great to work with and we could not have been happier with DJ Montro. We had several calls with DJ Montro to review the genres of music we liked and he valued our input and delivered a high energy night that our family and friends will never forget. He respected our requests and also included some memorable surprises. I highly recommend Murray Hill Talent and DJ Montro was the perfect choice to keep the dance floor full and keep the party going!! He is a DJ for all ages (we are in our 50's & 60's) and all genres of music and was so easy to work with. Thank you for all that you did to make our night so special!

Unforgettable Performance

Unity was phenomenal!! Their energy was off the charts and the dance floor was packed all night - we've never seen a dance floor like that at a wedding! The band clearly put a lot of care and effort into crafting the setlist around our style and accommodating our requests. They set the tone right away and did not let off the gas for the next 4 hours, even on breaks. Our guests keep telling us how impressed they were - Unity is one of the first things they mention when they talk to us about our wedding. The performance was so memorable, from the vocals to the horns (!) - we loved it all. We can't thank Unity and Murray Hill Talent enough for making our wedding so special - we'd recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

Our guests danced the night away!

During our first meeting with DJ Brendan Howard he referred to himself “functional wallpaper” and we knew at that point he was exactly who we wanted to work with. We were looking for a DJ who wasn’t trying to be the center of attention and who would let his music do the talking and keep the dance floor packed. That’s exactly what Brendan did on our wedding day!

Brendan was very easy to communicate with and let us give our input, but for the most part, we trusted him and his expertise to bring our vision to life.

On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and our guests had a great time and were dancing all night. Overall he did a great job and we couldn’t be happier.

Dave was our DJ and he was amazing! Listened to everything we wanted, had such good transitions, and kept the dance floor full all night. Rob was our A/V guy, very professional and helped us with the complicated moving parts. Multiple friends said they wanted to hire our DJ after the wedding!

The BEST Wedding Band Ever!

Closing Time Boston through Murray Hill Talent was our band and MC service for our August 2023 wedding. They are PHENOMENAL. Truly cannot describe how incredibly talented this band is. We have received so many compliments about how great of a band they were and how fun they made our reception. Ryan, the band leader, is amazing and so easy to work with. We had a call with him about two weeks before our wedding and reviewed overall what our likes and dislikes were for our setlist direction and I was amazed at how well they crafted it to meet what we wanted while still delivering happy surprises along the way. My parents 35th anniversary is this year, so they even learned my parents wedding song to surprise them half way through their first set at the reception. 10/10 recommend them - they will plan your entire ceremony, cocktail hour and entrances to a T, leaving you will full confidence, no stress, just enjoying your day. Thank you closing time for being such a special and memorable part of our wedding day!

High Energy Band with a Packed Dance Floor!

We hired Closing Time Boston as our band for our wedding and they were the highlight of the night! The team at Murray Hill Talent, Cory & Ryan, were great to work with- very responsive, patient and organized. They also provided the AV for our ceremony, ceremony music and cocktail reception music. It was so easy to have everything in one place. Closing Time Boston were an absolute hit. We had so many of our friends and family compliment them the evening of and still today, one month later. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night. The mix of music was exactly what we were looking for. We cannot thank them enough!!!

So much fun!

The music was a really important focal point for us at our wedding, and we had a specific vibe and genre we wanted to focus on. Our DJ, Niko absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed the whole time, with older relatives, little kids and everyone in between. We will never forget how much fun we had on the dance floor at our wedding. Look no further.

I wish I could give Neon Lighthouse more than 5 stars! They were my husband's and my wedding band this past July, but we first saw them play at a friend's wedding a couple of years prior, and we knew they would be the first band we'd check out when it was our turn to get married! They were UNFORGETTABLE. The dance floor was packed the. entire. time. they played. Only time people took a bathroom break was when the bank took a break :) The band members were so interactive with our wedding guests and poured their heart and soul into their music... I just can't say enough about Neon Lighthouse, and neither could our guests!

The communication was professional and timely, and everyone affiliated with the band, from management to the musicians, was really easy and enjoyable to work with!

My husband's sister is getting married in September 2024, and she and her fiancé have already booked them for their own wedding after seeing them preform at ours!

The Murray Hill Team knocked it out of the park!

Booking was a breeze. The admin team had great communication and an easy to use questionnaire to help determine our music preferences.

The band "Twilight" expertly handled the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. It was perfect, they provided the ambiance we were looking for without calling too much attention.

Put your hands up for DJ Ben Ockert! He DJ'd the reception like an old pro. He took the time to schedule a call before the event and get a feel for our music tastes. He put together a kick ass set and kept the dancefloor full throughout. Awesome job accommodating some obscure requests on the fly. This guy is not just playing a list of songs you give him, he really performed and mixed an awesome set. Next time we host an event, Ben will be there.

Professional and Exceptionally Talented

Oh my goodness what a night! The Flipside band was incredible. Everyone loved them. In fact, I have lost count of how many times I have heard, "the best wedding band -- ever.” And then there was… “this is the best wedding I have ever been to.” What a talented group of musicians and singers you all are. It was a magical night. I must add that Corin Ashley is a wonderful person to work with.

Rockstart musicians!

Tom and David were THE BEST!!!! Tom Pendergast played the guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and not only could he play all the songs I was looking for during the ceremony (Lover by Taylor Swift was PERFECT), but he also absolutely rocked the garden party wedding theme during the cocktail hour with his covers. All of our guests said he was amazing!
David Landeta was our DJ for our reception and he CRUSHED it! He spent so much time leading up to the big day working with me on having the perfect music for dancing, for days after the event our friends were texting us saying how great he was!

Flipside is amazing!!

Top notch band that delivers the fun

We hired Flipside as our band and they did not disappoint! We considered the band to be one of the most important parts of our wedding so we are grading this performance on a tough curve. The entire band was so incredible! From picking music, to making sure that they kept people dancing, to having fun on the dance floor with us—Flipside kept our wedding fun all night long. Highly Recommend DJ Dakeya Christmas!

We were thrilled to have Dakeya Christmas as our DJ through Murray Hill Talent! We had a fusion Pakistani wedding in June 2022. We searched for a very long time for the perfect DJ, and wanted someone who would play music that would keep our guests dancing and the dancefloor full all night long. Dakeya not only met our expectations, he blew them out of the water!

From the beginning, Dakeya was available to answer our questions and walk us through the process. He made it easy by letting us share Spotify playlists for our various wedding events. We had separate playlists and musical vibes for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Dakeya executed the music for each event perfectly. Dakeya was also an excellent emcee!

It was very important to us that we had an energetic atmosphere for our reception. So, most importantly, Dakeya took my suggested playlist and curated the perfect mix for our dancefloor. He played hit after hit, and people stayed dancing all night. We had several people compliment us on our DJ selection. Many guests remarked months after the wedding how much they had enjoyed dancing at our wedding. And other friends getting married asked which DJ we used.

Thank you, to Dakeya and Murray Hill for your hard work, incredible talent and emphasis on customer service! Dakeya is a true professional and highly-skilled at what he does! We highly recommend him and choosing Dakeya as our DJ remains one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

My wedding venue (Gibbet Hill) recommended DJ Scott Arrington from Murray Hill Talent. During the planning process he was easy to plan and get in contact with. He was amazing on the wedding night and all of our guests raved about how excellent the music was. I would recommend Scott for any wedding!

My wife and I hired Murray Hill for our wedding in October and they did not disappoint. Cory was super easy to work with leading up to the wedding and answered all of our questions and concerns. Professional DJs who keep the party going!

A family friend who used to work weddings highly recommended Murray Hill Talent to us. We spoke to a few of their DJs, and every single one was responsive and professional. At our wedding, Brendan was incredible! He kept everyone dancing, even across multiple generations of guests. He was wonderfully calm and easy to work with, both leading up to the wedding and day-of. We really appreciated how organized he was, and how helpful he was walking us through all the decisions around introductions, announcements, and dances.

We highly recommend Murray Hill!! We had the honor of Dakeya Christmas DJ'ing our wedding. People could not wait to get to the dance floor and once the dancing portion of the evening began, it was packed until the very end!! I truly haven't seen such an engaged crowd at any other wedding I've been to. Guests across all ages & dancing comfort levels had the best time. DJ'ing is one of those wedding decisions where you really have to put faith in the vendor you select and you can't really preview the experience until the day of. That's what made Dakeya so wonderful -- we felt great trust in his ability to create an unforgettable evening of music. Flipside was AMAZING

Thank You we had an amazing night. Scott Arrington was wonderful and responsive to requests from our family. He kept the room hopping and most importantly he knew when to slow the music down so my father -in law could make it to the dance floor and dance with me. This made the night so spectacular.

We love DJ Scott!

We had DJ Scott for our wedding and he was awesome!! He was ready to fill the dance floor from our first intro call until our epic last song! He read the crowd perfectly to the point that our guests remarked that they kept waiting for a song to take a break from dancing but they were all too good to take a break. DJ Scott listened and followed everything we wanted for our day. All of our guests keep saying what a fun wedding it was!

Electric dancefloor

FLIPSIDE is a MUST BOOK if you want an electric dance floor at your wedding. Definitely add on the horns too, they come on the dance floor and your guests will be blown away! Many guests have told us that this was the best wedding band they have ever seen and it felt like being at a concert. They know how to bring the heat, you don't need to worry at all about music and vibes at your wedding if you use Murray Hill Talent. Corin is amazing to work with, super professional and easy to communicate with and knows how to throw one hell of a party on your wedding day! Highly recommend :)

Amazing DJ

We hired Murray Hill Talent (specifically Brian) for our wedding and at State Room in Boston and he was amazing. Cory, the owner was great to work with and gave us information on their different DJs. We were able to set up phone calls to meet the ones we selected, but we spoke to Brian and immediately knew he was the right fit. He kept our guests dancing the entire night and we had so many comments about how much fun everyone had and how many people (across all generations) were on the dance floor. We had several pre-wedding meetings that allowed the day of to be completely stress-free. If you're looking for an amazing DJ in the Boston area, I cannot recommend Murray Hill Talent (and really, Brian) enough.

Best band ever

Flipside was BEYOND belief!!! They were attentive to our vision/ music preference for the wedding reception, met multiple times to review song choices for the dances. When it was time for the party, they brought the ENERGY! The lead singers have amazing voices, the musicians are all incredibly talented AND they dance/interact with the crowd to keep the party going. The highlight of our reception was when the horns walked through the dance floor/crowd playing their music and grooving! If you want an incredible party, please do yourself a favor and book this band!

Professional service and goes extra to make your event special!

We contacted Tom at Murray Hill Talent when we were searching for a solo guitarist and band to play at our family home wedding in Cape Cod. It ended up being delayed and rearranged three times due to covid - but working with Tom and the band Up All Night was one of the best things we did! We also booked Tom to play during our service, reception drinks and dinner. He took his guitar and equipment onto the beach in very windy conditions and played perfectly which wouldn’t have been easy in that breeze! Throughout the lead up and all the delays Tom was friendly, patient and fun to chat to and so flexible - making sure we were totally at ease and relaxed. And the band Up All Night in the evening were absolutely AWESOME! We 100% recommend Tom and the whole team at Murray Hill Talent for any event!

The dance floor was packed the whole night!

Murray Hill talent was amazing to work with! Julio kept the guests hyped throughout the speeches and had a great presence. He was professional, fun to work with, and open to our unique ideas and many last minute changes. We even gave him a mashup the we created and he was happy to play it and get the crowd excited! Three cheers (and five stars) for Murray Hill!

Murray Hill was fabulous! Our DJ Scott was friendly, professional, reassuring, and all-around great to work with. He chose fabulous music based on our somewhat vague instructions and really got our taste. He even helped us edit one of our ceremony songs to cut out some lyrics that weren't appropriate. Everything ran smoothly from beginning to end and our guests loved the music.

The best ever!

Murray Hill is the BEST! They are SO easy to work with and are so talented. I booked a string quartet to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Upon hiring, they will send you a list of songs they play. However, given enough notice, they might be able to play a song you request that's not on their list! I was set on walking out to "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys. It wasn't on their list of songs they play but I asked and they said they would do it! My guests raved about their music. It really makes the ceremony feel more special to have live, beautiful music playing. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Redline band KILLED IT!

We had Redline perform at our wedding (through Murray Hill Talent) and they did an awesome job! They performed before our ceremony (piano/ keyboard), during cocktail hour (guitar), and during the reception. Open to new ideas and was willing to work with us in terms of helping form to our vision. Very organized band with coordinating beforehand, and also the business at Murray Hill also was very responsive and easy to connect with as well. Good prices.

Great Experience with Murray Hill

We had a great experience with Murray Hill Talent for our wedding at SRV in April 2022. We specifically chose Felix Herbst as our DJ, as he was also able to play violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was fabulous, and we especially loved that he was young and understood our music taste. Communication was excellent and we thought the cost was extremely reasonable.

Wonderful experience!

Murray Hill was among a short list of vendors recommended to us by our venue. We looked through their list of DJs and ended up meeting a couple, eventually deciding to go with Felix Herbst. Felix was amazing to work with, and we were so thrilled with how everything ended up. From our first meeting, it felt like he really listened to us and what we wanted (and importantly, what we didn't want) and his goal and priority was to make us happy. Other DJs we talked to were so focused on the party, but we wanted a more laid-back tone and Felix totally got that. From the violin played for the processional, to the music during the cocktail hour and reception, and including the dancing portion, the music was always fun but never over the top or too loud. Felix was respectful of our request to keep the volume slightly lower, both so we could enjoy talking to our guests and also to accommodate some guests with sensory issues. He did the perfect amount of emceeing, keeping guests aware of what was going on and guiding the party along, but never felt like he took over or was trying to be the center of the party. He made us different versions of our first dance song to choose from, worked with us to create the perfect cut of our entrance song, and was always so responsive and easy to work with. He even checked in with us a few times during the wedding to make sure we were happy and ask if we wanted to hear anything specific. We absolutely loved working with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ!

Booking Flipside was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They're so incredibly talented and had everyone on the dance floor all night. Flipside rocks!

We hired Flipside as our wedding band and couldn't be happier with our decision! Corin and the whole band are amazing. Our guests had the best time dancing all night and Corin played acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour as well. Great DJ & Guitarist Combo!

Scott Arrington was our DJ and Tom Pendergast was our guitarist on our wedding day, and both were great to work with! They listened to our genre and song preferences and played exactly what we requested on the day of. When we struggled deciding on our ceremony songs, Tom gave us a great recommendation which we ultimately went with, and it was perfect! It was a unique touch to have a talented guitarist play during our ceremony and cocktail hour! Scott had our guests dancing all night and was prompt with each wedding activity. Our guests raved about both Tom and Scott and we were extremely pleased – thank you both!!

Flipside is the best!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Murray Hill Talent and Flipside. Originally, we were going to go with a DJ, but we both love live music and eventually decided that a band would be worth the splurge. From the first communication with the band manager, Corin, we knew MHT would be the right fit. We hired a 2-piece (violin and guitar) for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and Flipside as a 6-piece to play our reception. Corin was very responsive to our many questions throughout the planning process, despite it being such a crazed wedding season. While he was unable to be there on the day, Andrew stepped in for him and was absolutely fantastic. The next day, our family, friends, and the venue manager couldn't stop raving about how great the band and music was. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted and the band played an intricate part in making that happen. Thank you all so much!

An unbelievable band that will have the dance floor packed!

Partnering with Flipside was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding! We partnered closely with Corin Ashely to find 8 musicians to perform at our wedding in Northampton, MA and the dance floor was PACKED all night. The musicians were unbelievably talented and professional, and we had so many guests come up to us after the wedding to say that this was the best live band they've seen perform at a wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone in New England!

The best dance party!

Our wedding dance party was very important to us and DJ Brian Delac lit it up more than we could have ever expected! He took time to talk to us about our music tastes (which are a wide range from Whitney, Sinatra, and EDM) and somehow he got it just right and kept the party going catering to ALL of our wedding guests!

Great Wedding DJ!

Scott Arrington did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music for our recent wedding. We were able to talk with him prior to booking to give him our music vibe and confirm that he would be a good fit. A few weeks before the wedding we were able to submit all of our song requests and we confirmed all the the requests in a phone call the week before the wedding. He included every single request and completely followed our vibe of music. He chose additional songs that played to the crowd and kept people singing and dancing. All of our guests commented on how much they loved the music and how much fun they had. He was very professional and organized and helped us to have a stress free wedding day. Overall would definitely recommend Murray Hill Talent and especially Scott Arrington!

Zeke was the best

We hired Zeke Stern for our wedding and I cannot recommend him enough. A wedding DJ can truly make or break the reception. A bad DJ can ruin everything. But with Zeke, the morning after everyone raved about how awesome our DJ was. We had very specific, detailed instructions for our music because we wanted to avoid the possibility that our reception would not be a non-stop dance party. Many of friends warned that they had also done this, but the day of, the DJ went rogue and completely ignored the instructions. But Zeke isn't like other DJs - he's there to serve his clients and give them what they want. We did not want a boisterous DJ who was going to make the reception his own concert or show. Zeke respected our wishes and absolutely KILLED IT. Even when our reception went off schedule a bit, Zeke read the room and knew which songs to play to keep the party going. That combination of taking instructions well and also having good intuition and judgment is rare, and it is such an important skillset to have to be a good wedding DJ. Zeke was also so easy to work with - extremely kind and very calm. I cannot recommend him enough

Danced all night long

We booked Scott Arrington to DJ our wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill and he was AMAZING. He was super professional, knew exactly what he was doing on all fronts (music, sound, MC, scheduling, etc), and was able to keep the dance floor going ALL night. The dance floor was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole day (ok, other than the getting married part LOL). A DJ/MC is probably one of the most important vendors especially during the reception, yet Scott made it so easy for us. He took care of everything and allowed us to be hands-off/worry-free so we could enjoy our special day. Thank you Scott!!

DJ Felix is the best!!!

Thank you to DJ Felix Herbst for everything he did for our wedding! Our original DJ had to back out last minute due to a medical emergency, but he connected us to Cory at Murray Hill Talent who quickly set us up with Felix who did an amazing job at our wedding. Felix kept things running smoothly and made appropriate announcements and intros, but he was never cheesy or annoying like some other wedding DJs! His music selections were perfect and totally got the vibe we were going for. He also accommodated all of our weird and very specific requests. Felix was just great, and we loved working with him! He made an already special day even more special. :-)

Amazing experience - Gorgeous live music for our ceremony & reception.

My husband and I were beyond thrilled with the music Murray Hill provided for our wedding on Cape Cod. Marnie on violin and Tyler on piano were fantastic. They played every song we requested and brought such an elegant and charming vibe to our ceremony and reception. We had a small wedding, and the music made the day feel like a celebration without being overwhelming. Many of our guests commented about how lovely the music was. We also had separate locations for the ceremony and reception, which the musicians handled flawless.

Booking was a breeze - Corin was very responsive to my emails and he sent us videos of the musicians, which helped us get a sense of what to expect. But it was so much better than we could have imagined! We are so glad we booked with Murray Hill as the music was integral to our wedding day being so special, memorable and seamless. We’d be eager to book them for any future events or celebrations.

Perfect pick for our day!

Brian was fantastic and we are so happy he was a part of our day! He was so easy to communicate with, made us feel comfortable, and had great recommendations throughout our planning process. He was also so flexible as we made many last minute changes to our songs and lineup. We got so many compliments specifically regarding our DJ and he definitely kept the party going all night. He was able to read the room and make sure everyone was having a great time. He was able to seamlessly integrate Bollywood hits as well - we had a blast! Incredible

Flipside was incredible!! John and I could not have been happier to have had them as our band. They brought so much energy and were unbelievable performers. All of our guests were dancing all night long (no joke, no one sat down, not even my 86 year old grandmother). We had so many complements after our wedding about this band. If we could replay this night on repeat we totally would. Highly, highly recommend!

Thank you Zeke!

We had to postpone our wedding by a year and change our venue due to the pandemic. Murray Hill was incredibly flexible and responsive throughout the replanning process, and was one of the few things that didn't add any stress for us at all during that crazy time.

As for the event itself, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Zeke. He catered the songs to our likes/dislikes perfectly and, most importantly, got everyone on the dance floor immediately after dinner and kept everyone dancing all night long. We didn't want a standard "MC" and wanted to keep any announcements on the mic to a minimum, and he struck a perfect balance; he gave our guests just the information they needed and let the music speak for itself. He was kind and professional and made our small, backyard wedding more of a dance party than I ever imagined it could be. Our family and friends did not want the night to end. We would 100% recommend Zeke to anyone looking for a DJ.

Murray Hill and Closing Time were great!

We hired Closing Time through Murray Hill Talent, and the band deserves all the five star reviews they get. The dance floor was packed the entire night at our wedding, and the band played a great variety of songs. Guests of all ages enjoyed the party, but the set was still very current. Communication with the band leading up to the "big day" was solid. Book them without hesitation.

BOOK NOW!!! COVID BRIDE, best vendor we worked with!

Where do I begin!!! If you are considering a band for your wedding, BOOK them now! My husband and I were originally supposed to get married July 17th 2020 with 275 people and due to Covid... that didn't happen. We originally hired Murray Hill Talent for a 10 piece band and we were really nervous when we realized our dream wedding wasn't going to happen but also that we were going to potentially loose thousands in deposits. After planning what felt like 10 backup plans, we decided to move forward and get married with immediate family + bridal party in on a sailboat August 15th 2020. We reached out to Murray Hill to see if we could use our deposit to hire a person for ceremony/reception and they truly went above and beyond to help us out. Corin was AMAZING!!! Not only did he make me feel completely at ease about the whole process, but he also let me know he would handle all the music selections if I was feeling overwhelmed (which I was). Because we were getting married on a sailboat, he suggested I come out to "Here comes the sun" since there wasn't an aisle for me to walk down... which was PERFECT! Overall, the music selection was incredible. Not only did he play all the classics but he even mixed in some Avicci which was an amazing surprise (our favorite). I can't say enough great things about my experience with Corin/Marnie and the Murray Hill Team!

Awesome Performance and Good People

Ken and his bandmates in the Eastern Standard Band were excellent. Ken's performance at the cocktail reception was an an amazing acoustic set (my best man described it as a live version of the Boston radio program 'Acoustic Sunrise'). He even learned some songs that he knew my wife and I would love, without us even requesting! The band was amazing as well. Our wedding was a daytime/brunch wedding and the Eastern Standard had our guests dancing all afternoon.

Most importantly, Ken and Cory were just amazing to work with. Always available to answer our questions and working with us to make our day special. I'd recommended them to anyone!

Full dance floor all night!

Scott from Murray Hill was the DJ at our wedding on 12/21 and I can’t recommend him enough. He was wonderful about checking in with us to find out our music preferences and we really feel like he listened and incorporated our requests and preferences into his music selection. Scott arrived exactly when he said he would, and was set up in plenty of time for the wedding to start. He was very professional throughout our entire experience with him. The dance floor was full all night, and everyone (including us) had so much fun! People keep telling us our wedding was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I think that has a lot to do with Scott’s DJing! If you want to make sure your guests dance all night, hire Scott as your DJ!

DANCE PARTY!! (with dinner)

My partner and I were starting to get worried when 11 months prior to our wedding date we were told that "everyone worth having would already be booked" or "you cannot find a good band for under $60,000" we were starting to wonder if our dance party dreams would come to a screeching halt. Then Ryan found Redline and they were the light in an otherwise dark and tumultuous band search.

We told them that while most weddings are a dinner party with dancing, we were going for a dance party with dinner, and wowzers did they deliver. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long!! They have an amazing and expansive repertoire and learned Green Eyes by ColdPlay for our first dance. Ken, who is the band leader, was easy and wonderful to work with in the months leading up to our big day, and was very thoughtful and communicative around special accommodations needed to create safe space for our LGBTQIA+ selves and community. Plus, they were budget friendly enough to offer us the opportunity to have 6 hours of live music rather than 4 which was icing on the perfection cake!!

Scott was awesome!

Scott Arrington was the DJ at our wedding in September and we had an awesome time working with him! We booked pretty far in advance, but Scott was still very responsive in getting back to us and setting up a call to talk through available services. Prior to the wedding, Scott worked closely with us and our coordinator to make sure everything was squared away. Aside from DJ services, he also provided sound equipment for our JOP and a mic for our cousin who performed our first dance song. Scott’s music selection throughout the night was definitely on point and exactly what we had in mind, the dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time. We hired Scott Arrington for our wedding as he ran the PA for our ceremony and DJ'ed the reception. We could not be happier with our experience. Scott worked with us to balance our song requests to ensure we had the right flow to our wedding. This review is for Flipside, who absolutely nailed it at our wedding this past summer! My husband and I got married on 8/16/19 at Belle Mer in Newport, RI and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment. There are a few things about Murray Hill Talent and Flipside that everyone should know! 1. Their reviews don't lie! We chose Flipside solely based off of reviews and boy was everyone right! They are AWESOME! There's really no need to look any further. 2. Corin who not only runs MHT, but also plays in Flipside, is an amazing communicator! His e-mails were extremely thorough from the very beginning and even throughout the entire planning process. We asked them to learn one song (Zac Brown Band's I'll Be Your Man/Song for a Daughter) which was my dad and I's dancing song and it was perfect! What I appreciate about Corin is that he will be honest with you regarding what they can/cannot play and I value that. He also suggested having his violinist, Marnie Hall, play as some of our music choices would have really benefited from the violin and he was so right! She was the perfect addition and I would strongly recommend having her play at your event! Her and Corin also played acoustic music during our cocktail hour and it was beautiful. So many of our guests were blown away by their talent. I would strongly recommend this duo for any of your event needs! 3. They know how to read a crowd! I told Corin ahead of time that there was a wide range of ages amongst our guests and that it would be best to play a variety of music and they did just that! The dance floor was ALWAYS occupied and that's a really good indicator that the band knew how to keep the vibe going! Thank you again, Flipside and Murray Hill Talent for providing such wonderful entertainment at our wedding! Because of you guys, it will be a night we'll always remember!

Best night ever!

Thanks to our DJ, Trey, and Murray Hill talent, everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor all night long. Cory was great booking Trey and even a photobooth. Very responsive and professional. Best Night of Our Lives

Flipside set the tone and brought the energy for the best day ever. Starting with processional music, to cocktail hour and the reception, they nailed every last bit. We asked them to learn a new song for our first dance and after totally crushing it, they mashed it up with Sympathy for the Devil - unreal. The jazz floutist/saxaphonist came out into the crowd, the violinist was amazing, the drummer soloed like a boss, and the vocalists were on fire. Amazing set list. We had out of town guests take their card to see if they could drag Flipside to the west coast for an upcoming wedding.

Best night ever! "Banger after banger"

I used Murray Hill Talent for my wedding DJ, and was beyond happy. We ended up going with Zeke who was AMAZING.

From the initial planning/prepping and the ease of working with Murray Hill, getting options of DJs, selecting Zeke, then working with Zeke, it was all so easy. I was being a little bridezilla b/c music can make or break a wedding... and had a million questions and notes for Zeke. I was coordinating a ceremony ukulele player, but wanted a certain song for the aisle walk, needed assistance with a family member playing during reception, needing coordination on a few other logistical things, and Zeke just figured it all out.

Then at the wedding itself, it went so smoothly, and I received SO MANY compliments on how he was playing "hit after hit".. The dance floor filled up way earlier than intended, and stayed full. He took song requests, felt the crowd's vibe, and just KILLED IT.
I would recommend him and Murray Hill 1000x over.

Tom Pendergast is a phenomenal guitarist

Tom Pendergast was the best choice for a guitarist for our ceremony and cocktail hour that we could have made, and we’re thankful to Murray Hill Talent for helping to connect us with him. The music and vibe throughout the wedding was very important to us. Tom was incredibly responsive during the booking process and in the months leading up to our wedding. He learned/brushed up on an eclectic mix of songs for our processional and recessional, ranging from The Grateful Dead, to Whitney Houston, to Jay Z and Beyoncé. We received several comments from wedding guests about what a fantastic talent he was, and he kicked off our wedding on the absolute best foot. Murray Hill Talent provided an effortless experience. They hooked us up with Sheldon who was AWESOME. All my guests loved him and he was a pleasure to work with. Everyone danced! All night!

When my husband and I set out to plan our wedding, we knew we needed a killer band for the epic dance party we envisioned. We were put in touch with Tom at Murray Hill Talent and he helped us select Flipside as our reception band with a 9-piece configuration. They were professional, kind and most importantly SO SO GOOD! Everyone was dancing the entire night (our photographers even mentioned how impressed they were with that) and they even invited me and a couple friends on stage for Proud Mary. Besides Flipside, we also used Tom and a couple other band members for things like a guitarist during the ceremony and a jazz trio during cocktail hour. Added bonus: they needed very little direction from us, I truly felt like the music was 100% under control when the day-of came.

Rock Star!

DJ Marc Anthony did a phenomenal job at our wedding on 8/17/19. He Rocked it!!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the music he played on our wedding night. He was awesome and made our wedding so memorable! The dance floor was full the entire night and we had people of all ages up dancing. He played a wide range of songs that was well received by everyone. Each guest regardless of age had a great time at our wedding and no one felt left out. He did a great job transitioning music from one event to the next such as intros over to the first dance over to speeches. We had a ton of people asking us for his name and which DJ company he worked for. Marc was professional and was really easy going to work with. He was reliable and was always available to get a hold of to review the logistics for the wedding. He has a really friendly personality and helped put our nerves at ease throughout the process. He made the process fun and we had a blast creating a playlist with him! He even was so supportive to our Best Man and MOH with helping them feel relaxed at the reception before giving their big speeches. Both made a point of saying that the boost of confidence before speaking and the reassurance afterwards that the speech was well received and went great made them feel really good. He and Murray Hill also were super helpful in providing good song list recommendations for certain events at the wedding such as the cake cutting or parent dances. It really helped keep us focused on finding the perfect song for each part of our wedding night. As for professionalism, he arrived early to the wedding to make sure he was all set up and was prepared and ready to go for the ceremony. He looked confident and was polite when speaking to guests. You could tell he has a trained eye for observing how the audience is responding to songs and is very talented in being able to cater the music to what the crowd wants to hear. So many of our guests said they had a blast at our wedding and danced the night away. They even joked it took them a few days to recover from having so much fun. Our wedding coordinator at the venue said she hadn’t seen a dance floor that crowded probably in the last five years and they host weddings almost on a weekly basis. Our photographer also noted that she really thought he did a great job getting so much energy moving in the room. You could really tell people genuinely were enjoying themselves. Jack and I are so fortunate we found a DJ that made our wedding night so much fun for ourselves and all our guests! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a solid DJ with a terrific personality! A+ in our book!

Dj trey byrum - the best

We had our wedding on August 23rd in Newport and had Trey Byrum as our DJ. I cannot recommend him enough!! He did an amazing job. First of all he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and met with us multiple times before the wedding. He played a great variety of music, keeping everyone happy. Everyone at the wedding said they loved him. He always knew when to cut off a song and start a new one, and kept the crowd happy. Everyone had a blast and did not leave the dance floor. You will not regret booking him!

Amazing Band!

My husband and I got married in Killington VT in July 2019. We currently live in south jersey, so we chose most of our vendors from past reviews. We researched for months to try to find a band for our special day. We came across Murray Hill Talent and the band Closing Time while searching online. We watched videos of the band and instantly knew we wanted them! My husband emailed Murray Hill Talent to get a quote and they emailed back right away. We decided to go with the band Closing Time and we are so incredibly glad we did! Ryan the manager/lead singer was in contact with us via email and then called us the week before our wedding to iron out all the details. Ryan was very easygoing and great to deal with! The band was absolutely AMAZING and had all of our wedding guests on the dance floor all night long! I remember looking out at the tables and not one person was sitting! They played all the right songs and guests later raved about how good they were. To us, having good music was such an important part of our big day and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! I highly recommend DJ Zeke and Murray Hill Talent. I received word of Murray Hill upon the recommendation of a close friend, and I chose to contract DJ Zeke for my wedding in Southern Maine. Quality, professional musicians!

To preface this review: when looking for vendors, it was difficult to choose because I felt like everyone had 5 stars (I assumed because every bride thinks her wedding is the best wedding ever, fair enough!). I came across Murray Hill Talent when looking for a combination of live music and DJ for my ceremony/wedding, and after hopping on the phone with them they were so easy going yet professional I knew we would be in good hands. Honestly, Murray Hill Talent is worth every star (and then some). They were so easy to work with and were incredible professionals who made our night an absolute blast.

We worked with Tom Pendergast and Scott Arrington. Both were very easy to communicate with, understood our goals after a simple phone call, and made our wedding an incredible experience. Tom Pendergast played acoustic guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour and was fantastic. He was willing to learn several songs for our procession/recession to create just the vibe we wanted, and our guests raved about him during the cocktail hour. Scott Arrington was our DJ and couldn't have been better. Our dance floor was packed the entire evening (dare I say, it was the best wedding ever?).

Murray Hill Talent, Scott & Tom were true professionals and I'd highly recommend them.

Flipside Band is THE band!

It's been three months since our wedding and we still haven't stopped hearing how incredible our band (Flipside) was! The extra horns were the perfect addition that made the entire band sound larger than life! They kept everyone and I mean everyone on the dance floor the entire night. The lead singers were INCREDIBLE! Corin Ashley was amazing to work with and couldn't of been more helpful when it came to song chooses/suggestions and last minute changes. He crushed the cocktail hour and ceremony and we couldn't of been happier. If your looking for a band that will bring the house down, Flipside is your band!
