Best band ever

Boston Common Band, where do we even begin? Hands down: best. decision. we. made. Boston Common Band is unlike any other wedding band I have seen or heard. From their tight knit harmonies, talent, personality, choreography, to their music selections - these musicians are absolute professionals. I have heard from many guests that this was the best wedding band they've ever experienced. They learned two songs for us, one of them being a special father/daughter dance where my dad and I joined in with harmonicas on "Piano Man." My friends keep referring to this night as the "best concert they ever went to" and I whole heartedly agree. They were one of the only bands we found during the search process who had videos of them singing live and that's because they are ALWAYS PHENOMENAL. My husband and I met doing musical theater, so music was immensely important to us. This band delivered. Boston Common did our AV for the ceremony and it was perfection. Emily even made a silence your phones announcement for us before the ceremony began. They also performed during cocktail hour and I received so many compliments on their song selections. Emily doubled as a vocalist/DJ, but also as a coordinator. She kept us on TIME and she always kept me in the loop. She acted as the MC for the evening, welcoming our guests, dropping jokes, and introducing toasts and speeches flawlessly. We are so grateful to Boston Common Band for everything they did for us. The portal that they used during the planning process is awesome and allowed us to input our timeline, do-not-plays, must-plays, and contact information for vendors. I appreciated their organization immensely and Emily is QUICK to respond via email. The final meeting was our favorite meeting. We had a call with Emily who had us cracking up laughing and got us super excited for the big day. Thank you for putting your heart and soul into our special day. It's clear that while you are talented and passionate, you make your bride and grooms feel as though their wedding is the only one. You cultivated the perfect vibe and the happiest and most FUN day of our entire lives. I will never get over how packed our 30'x30' dance floor was (and that is a BIG dance floor). Thank you, thank you!

Hire this band!!

The Boston Common Band was AMAZING! We hired them for both ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and the music was perfect. They had great suggestions for guitarist ceremony music which was really helpful and took some stress out of planning. They also are the "full package" meaning they come with all the mics, speakers and light show you need to have a ceremony everyone can hear (sometimes a struggle at other weddings I've been too....) and a dance party your guests will rave about! Hire this band, you'll have so much fun!

the BEST wedding band!

My best wedding planning advice would be hire Boston Common Band ASAP! My husband and I got married at the Popponesset Inn and Boston Common Band was the highlight of the reception. They kept the dance floor packed the entire night and all of our guests raved about how great the band was. No video will do them justice either - they are absolutely incredible live and worth the $!!

Get ready for the party of your lifetime!

WOAH. We found Boston Common Band while attending a friend’s wedding and knew on the spot that we they had to be our wedding band. We actually picked our wedding date based on BCB’s availability! Having seen them perform in person previously we knew they were going to be great, but wow did they exceed our expectations. They had all of our guests dancing for hours. Literally. So many of our guests are still talking about our band and how they didn’t leave the dance floor once all evening.

The energy that this group brings and maintains all night long is honestly impressive. They’re dancing, interacting with guests and truly trying to throw you the party of your life. Not only did they bring the fun, but the process of working with them leading up to the main event was amazing. They answered all of our incessant questions very promptly😊, accommodated all of our custom requests, and scheduled video calls with us in the few weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure they had all the details laid out.

If you’re considering a band for your wedding, just stop looking now and book these guys.

Beyond Amazing and Worth Every Penny!

The Boston Common Band was PHENOMENAL!!! To say they brought the party is an understatement…they made the party! All of our guests are still talking about how amazing they were and truly the best wedding band they have ever seen! It was more than a wedding band, it was a concert for our guests! Look no further!

In looking at music options for our wedding, we couldn’t decide whether to go band or DJ, and I stumbled across the Band/DJ combo offered through Boston Common. We had Soul Estate/DJ Manolo for our wedding, and it was one of the best choices we made! Music and sound were high up on our priority list, and the talent and energy from Soul Estate and DJ Manolo exceeded our expectations in every way. In addition to going above and beyond on the day-of, the planning process with these guys was a breeze from start to finish - they are truly rockstars in every sense of the word!

danced all night long!

We cannot say enough good things about Boston Common Band, as well as DJ T-Roc!!! Everyone raved about them the next day and people were on the dance floor all night long. They were all extremely responsive and easy to communicate with! They listened to all our suggestions and requests and were so helpful with any questions we have. Book them ASAP

The Boston Common Band and Josh (DJ J-Boogz) were outstanding, and even that might be an understatement. From the moment we booked, we had clear and timely communication with various band members and coordinators. Everyone was always on the same page and the planning interface was simple and easy to use. The video chat with the DJ about a month prior to the wedding was very helpful and made us feel 100% confident in their ability to coordinate an event and put on a show. Now for the music...the Boston Common Band is not your typical wedding band, they are insanely talented musicians and performers who bring a concert to your wedding. The number one comment we have received since the wedding has been how incredible the band was, and we could not agree more. This band is worth every penny and more, hire them ASAP. Amazing night!

From the planning to the last song Boston Common was professional and certainly met all expectations. My Husband wanted a DJ and I was looking for a Band. Having the combo really made the night and was able to give us the variety we were hoping for. Prior to booking they ensured there was a time for us to see them play. They were the hit of our wedding and everyone has been talking about them!

Fantastic Performance,,, felt like a concert!

I cannot say enough great things about Boston Common Band. My husband and I got married in August of 2017 and this band/DJ combo was fantastic!! Jonathan, DJ Rolling Rick and the entire band were professional and extremely talented. From the planning process to the last song of the night, Boston Common Band did not disappoint. Very talented, entertaining wedding band!

The Boston Common Band is amazing! They were one of the first vendors we secured for our wedding in October. They catered so well to the diverse age ranges of our guests, performing a mix of Motown and Pop hits. The band members are extremely talented. They learned and performed a song for our first dance. We received so many compliments from our guests about how impressed they were with the band. The band manager was also very professional and very easy to coordinate with throughout every step of the planning process. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny!

Absolutely phenomenal. They kept our entire room dancing ALL night! No exaggeration. Josh was our DJ and he was great to work with. The days leading up he called and went over everything making us feel comfortable and the night of the wedding it was better than we could have imagined. They are expensive but worth every penny!

We got married last weekend at Turner Hill and Boston Commons Band was our band. I don't have enough good things to say about them. From start to finish, they made our night amazing. Everyone was on the dance floor and the song choices were great - something for everyone!! My dad's friends were actually talking about flying them to South Carolina to play for their daughter's wedding.

DJ Josh Fields was also great to work with! He was fun, lively, and had careful attention to detail.

Thanks, guys, for making our wedding one for the books!!

Park Street Band and DJ Nate were exactly what we were looking for when searching for our wedding band! We didn’t know a band/DJ combo existed; we took advantage of that package and we are so glad we did. DJ Nate was the perfect emcee for the evening. We don’t live in Boston anymore so we didn’t have a chance to hear them live before booking, but they absolutely exceeded our expectations! They are extremely thorough and easy to work with - we had a FaceTime session with DJ Nate where we just talked through the timeline together so we were all on the same page (he gave some great tips, too!). The online portal was simple to use and very useful if you want to request or deny certain songs. We chose to defer mainly to the band for song selection because we assumed that since they play every weekend that the band would know what songs to play and when to keep the party going! We assumed correctly; the energy was insane - I think everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE time. We also made a request towards the end of the wedding to have one of our guests sing Shout with the band and it capped off the night in the best way possible! Couldn’t recommend them more!

If I could give Boston Common 6 stars, I would! We absolutely loved our wedding, and Boston Common played a huge role. Guests are still raving about their performance weeks after the wedding. Through the planning process, we knew we were in good hands. We heard from the band leader, DJ, and manager regularly and they ensured that nothing fell through the cracks. We went into the day with a solid timeline, knowing that between DJ Rolling Rick and the band, the music at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception would be exactly what we wanted. Words cannot describe how amazing The Boston Common Band was from day one of talking to them up to our wedding day! They were our first vendor we booked once we had our wedding date confirmed because we knew that we wanted a band and were ecstatic that they were available. We first saw The Boston Common Band at our friends’ wedding and LOVED them! Jonathan and Emily were so professional and very responsive throughout the whole process. We even became groupies going to see them play off-season at The Lansdowne Pub in Boston and at The Thirsty Moose in Porstmouth, NH. For our wedding day, they played jazz during our cocktail hour and then delivered an outstanding performance for our reception. Another amazing part was having DJ J Boogz working with them and us to create a great playlist of songs when the band was on break. They worked so well with our wedding coordinator at The Westin Copley Place and the uplighting looked fantastic in the ballroom. Their passion and energy shines through to each member of the band and we loved how they interacted with our wedding guests and us. Everyone at our wedding has been complimenting The Boston Common Band since our wedding this past April and we would highly recommend them to anyone that is thinking of having a band for their wedding. I wish I could give Boston Common Band 10 stars. They were absolutely incredible at our wedding!!! My husband and I saw them play at a local bar and knew we wanted them for our wedding. Josh and Jonathan were so helpful leading up to the wedding, answering all our questions and concerns. They were so organized and prompt with communication which I appreciated! The day of the wedding, they came with SO MUCH energy and literally kept people up dancing all night long. After the wedding, every single person we talked to said it was the BEST band they had ever seen at a wedding and we couldn't agree more!!

You only get married once. Don't mess this up. I'm sure there are other great bands/DJ's out there, but Boston Common Band was absolutely, undeniably the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. With almost zero input, BCB crafted the perfect set (and playlist) to keep our party going.

What you can't find anywhere else is this group's ENERGY. They had the party JUMPING the entire night. I looked up during the second to last song and the old folks -- who I thought would've been in bed hours before -- were still kicking it right next to the wedding party. Nails did. Hair did. Everything did. It was a night my husband and I will never forget, and our guest will never forget either! Immediately after, several months after, years and year after--we will continue talking about Boston Common's Band Performance.

Last thing: we also had the band play during our ceremony and cocktail hour....and every performance outdid the last. It was flawless. I couldn't pick a favorite part because it was all done beyond our requests. They may be pricey, all good bands are, but it's worth every last penny. I promise!

Boston Common Band played for our New Year's Eve wedding and did an INCREDIBLE job. Soul Estate Band was everything we could've hoped for and then some. They were amazing and played the crowd so well - I can't tell you how many of our guests are still raving about the performance. There are not enough good things to say about Boston Common Band. From the moment we first reached out communication was prompt and pleasant. Once we had our contract locked in Jonathan took the lead and set us up with an online portal to upload must play, try to play and do not play lists. They prepare a timeline, online form to fill out with all the little things that go on at a wedding that you would want music for, and they love what they do! Their library of songs reached every generation. They are on top of their stuff from start to finish and make sure you don't forget anything! The day of the wedding, they rocked the house. Our guests tell us all the time they loved the band the most and we were on the dance floor ourselves most of the night dancing away! They came off stage into the crowd with us and really made us feel like rockstars :) Hands down, they are the best decision we could have ever made when hiring a band for our wedding!!!

Do not look anywhere else for your perfect wedding band. Boston Common Band gave us the best experience any bride and groom could ask for. From setting me up with a string quartet (who btw played Beyoncé for my entrance) to gorgeous uplighting and then THE BAND! OMG THE BAND! Booking the Boston Common Band was one of the best decisions I could have made when planning our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process they were so helpful through emails and facetiming. They consistently answered my questions in a timely manner and gave amazing input for the flow of the night. Their performance at my wedding exceeded all expectations! After the first song my guests were asking me where I found them and complementing the band. They learned our first dance song for us and did an unbelievable job. The band was so energetic and even danced and sang with my guests throughout the night. They brought the reception to life and everyone was dancing the entire night. Boston Common Band and ECF Entertainment recently performed at our wedding last month, and they are absolutely amazing! They were the first vendor that we chose, and we couldn't have been happier! Our guests loved them, the music selections were perfect, and everyone had so much fun! They were great to work with through the planning process, working with a family member on the ceremony music, they performed jazz music at the cocktail hour which was a hit, the up-lighting was perfect, and music at the reception was the best! We booked the Soul Estate Band (part of the Boston Common Band family) and they were absolutely wonderful. By booking them, we got a great band, along with a fantastic DJ to emcee the night and keep the music and party going when the band took a break. Soul Estate had everyone up and dancing the entire time, and kept the energy incredibly high. Multiple guests of our commented that they were one of the best wedding bands they'd ever heard. They also learned the specific song we wanted for our first dance - and made sure to play all of the other songs we specified that we really wanted to hear. They were definitely a huge part of what made our wedding so fantastic, and we'd happily recommend them to anyone.

BCB played my wedding on April 22 and was unbelievable. Start to finish they killed it in every way and were very professional and accomodating to our music requests, which we had quite a few of. I should add that I'm a berklee grad and there were a lot of other working musicians in attendance and we were all blown away and couldn't stop talking about how good of a show BCB put on; it truly put the wedding on a different level. Seriously, this is the best wedding band in New England. Our guests have not stopped talking about the music at our wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night. They were SO MUCH FUN!

Leading up to the wedding, their organization, professionalism, and expertise was invaluable. They clearly know what works best, but were open to our specifications and requests. From start to finish the Boston Common Band were total pros!

My wife and I heard about the Boston Common Band through our wedding coordinator at Wychmere Beach Club (Harwich MA). We scouted BCB at the Landsdowne Pub in Boston last December. We were very impressed and quickly convinced (after seeing them crush Bruno Mars) these guys could bring the house down at our wedding.

The business end was very simple. Jonathan was straight forward in regards to their packages, addressed any our concerns, and was flexible to meet our needs. The band had played Wychmere before was very comfortable playing the Harbor Room. This was huge because my wife and I were concerned about the narrowness of the room. There was no issue what so ever. We had a 300+ wedding in the room and there were no issues.

DJ Tony was completely flexible and very attentive to make sure he got the name pronunciation and order correct. I also had a pretty particular selection of entrance music which he completely nailed. Having a Band and DJ combo is completely worth it. If your going to make the investment to get a band then you really should look at a package deal like Boston Common offers. When the band took a break - DJ Tony nailed it, there was no drop off in entertainment. Our requested songs were played and more importantly, both band and DJ were attentive to the "do not play list"

Of the 50 plus weddings i have been to, I have never seen a Band so engaging and accommodating to the crowd. The dance floor had zero breaks from start to finish. BCB allowed the bride and groom to sing a tune, an aunt sing to a grandfather/grandmother dance, and allowed the bride groom and groomsmen to close the night our own rendition of Piano Man. They didn't have to do that...but that's the fun of working with them. If we didn't have twenty pizza pies waiting for the wedding at a local restaurant down the street at the end of the night, our guests would still be there chanting one more song today.

Words can honestly not explain how amazing this band is. Prior to our wedding, they were by far the most unbelievable vendor to work with. They are quick to respond, answer any and all questions (honestly within minutes at times), and are unbelievably organized. They remind you of timelines, and ensure things on your end are done in a timely fashion ( so helpful to avoid the craziness of organizing details right before the wedding!). Even before the wedding day, I was so happy that we had chosen to work with this group. Things only got better! The band put on an unreal show. Their energy was high, their smiles were huge, their dance moves were on point, and they sounded amazing. They looked they had a blast from start to finish. Our guests (and us!) were on the dance floor all night. . You couldn't help it. Every single guest has commented on our band selection since our wedding. They want to know who they were and where in the world we found such an amazing group. I would rehire this band in a heartbeat.

Boston Common Band killed it at our wedding! They were recommended to us by another vendor and we are so happy we chose them for our big day. Having a combo band and DJ was perfect, they transitioned so well between playing live sets and the DJ. They bring so much energy to your day as well, they will engage the crowd in songs and sometimes some Michael Jackson dance offs!! They learned our first dance song for us as well (Van Morrison Someone Like You) and they sounded incredible. They can play a large range of music as well, our guests continue to tell us how much fun they had dancing and how amazing our band sounded. Their online system to help you plan out all your music is super helpful as well, the online system will allow you to chose must play songs and songs that you don't want played. Their set up is impressive as well, part of your package is lighting which made a difference at night and to make the dance floor really light up! Our wedding night ended with myself, my husband and my parents up on the stage doing a sing along to Journey with the band- it was certainly a night to remember. Definitely book this band- they were the best!!

Could it get any better than these guys? I mean SERIOUSLY!! I asked for a dance party, and I received the BIGGEST, FUNNEST and most rock star dance party of my life.. On the biggest day of my life! My wedding was a HIT thanks to these guys. There wasn't a minute that went by without that dance floor flooded with guests. Its been over 3 weeks now and people are still talking about how amazing it was, and i KNOW the entertainment was one of the biggest highlights. Working with them was a dream. The entire band, and DJ were extremely professional and worked with me throughout the planning to ensure a smooth process. They knew we were looking for a good time, and came to bring one! They were always available to talk leading up to the big day, and never were hesitant to respond to any of my emails! Great organization and communication skills across the board. I could never imagine a party without them! My word of advice to you all is book them now, these guys are going to make your night one to remember.. not only because there awesome, but because your guests wont be able to stop talking about them!!

Boston Common Band & DJ Shyne ABSOLUTELY killed it and wish I could give more stars! My wife Jen and I got married 10/29/16 at Saltwater Farm Vineyard and couldn't have had a more perfect wedding. All night long our guests were coming up to us commenting on how amazing the band was and if we could give them their information. Everyone was out on the dance floor all night having an absolute blast - the band and DJ really made our night so special! Jonathan, Jeff and the rest of the band were so pleasant and easy to work with throughout our planning process and on the big day. Their attention to detail was second to none and they made it their priority to make sure we all were having fun. BCB also learned our first dance and, oh my god, did they crush it - Jen and I were truly blown away. Can't recommend these guys enough - definitely use them!!!

I wish I had more then 5 stars to say how amazing Boston Common was. They ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT playing at our wedding! One of the most popular pieces of feedback we've heard from our wedding, (including the hotel staff) was not only how professional Boston Common is, but how blown away everyone was with their set. From the beginning of our planning we were adamant a live band makes a party, and they certainly made ours! I remember one part of the night looking around to notice most of the wedding was on the dance floor, which is always a sign of a successful event in our book. I had NO idea when I discovered Boston Common Band how amazing they would be. We were guided through the planning process and the guys were pretty flexible about changes. Nothing could've prepared me for how incredible they were on the day of. They had everyone out on the dance floor the entire time they played (including all the little kiddos before the party even started). The talent and energy was insane. Yes, a good chunk of our budget went toward the band but the cost was in line with a lot of the other bands I'd researched. Every time someone brings up our wedding, the band is the main topic. Just the best.

Boston Common Band was absolutely amazing at our wedding! Our guests had a blast and are still talking about how great the music and performance was at our June 2016 reception. The dance floor was packed the whole night with all ages loving every minute! This is a high-energy, modern group who totally break the old "wedding band" stereotype. Jonathan and the crew were fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. They worked closely with us to help determine a timeline for the evening and offered great suggestions for how to work everything in and still keep the energy up. We felt totally at east going into our day knowing we had such a great team who would deliver a fun, flawless evening. They also offer a great online tool to create "must play" "would like to play" and "do not play" tracks for the evening. I highly suggest taking the time to do utilize this tool ahead of time as it helped the band/DJ learn our taste and style and really made the evening feel personalized for us. I would recommend this vendor 100x over for all area weddings!

What can Kate and I say that hasn't already been said by our guests...you all were absolutely off the chain! I can't thank you all enough for making the best day of our lives even that much more special, memorable, and downright fun! The Boston Common Band was absolutely fantastic, and we can't say enough great things about them! Three months after our wedding, our guests still comment on our amazing band! The band is exceptionally talented, professional, and responsive both to the requests of the bride and groom and to the energy of the wedding guests. Most of our guests danced from beginning to end of the reception.

The evening started with the Jazz Trio during cocktail hour, continued with dinner music and intros by the DJ, and ended with two fabulous sets by the band! During the band's break, the DJ came back and played a number of requests. All of the band members and the DJ were so friendly and fun that it felt as if they were guests at our wedding too.

From the moment we booked, the band and DJ made sure that they met our every need. We particularly appreciated that the band was willing to learn a new first dance song -- and they did an incredible job with our request. Hiring The Boston Common Band is easily the best decision you can make for your wedding reception.

There are no words!!! Boston Common Band was INCREDIBLE!!!! From the start we felt confident they were the right choice - their website is user friendly, the real-footage videos reassuring that you are getting what you think you are, and Jonathan was SO prompt in returning emails. Once my now-husband saw them live, there was just no question that they were the band to book. AMAZING decision! First, We loved the DJ/Band combo thing they offer! It was a way to keep things fresh. When the band played, they not only just on the dance floor, but like TEARING it up!! They have SO much energy and the range of music they play is INSANE - they were even able to NAIL Aerosmith's "don't want to miss a thing" for us as our first dance (like, they even killed that high "TRYY-YYY-YYY" at the very end of the song). But, even more importantly, they were such an easy group to work with. The client website they offer is easy to use; they return emails on the same day; they are totally willing to work with clients - they even set up acoustics so that our friend could use their sound system for the ceremony. Overall, they are not only talented, but also professionals of the highest level. We would 100% recommend them to any couples thats looking to throw a high-energy, dance-till-your-feet-hurt, sing-along-until-your-voice-is-gone party. BRAVO!!!

We knew we wanted a live band and these guys came highly recommended. Upon meeting with DJ Shyne via Skype and seeing his professionalism we were sold. These guys took care of every detail and their performance was spectacular. The lighting was worth the extra cost as well. They said "yes" to every whim and request we had, and they even let the groom sit in on a song! We definitely recommend the band/DJ combo for your ceremony/cocktail hour/reception. As soon as we started wedding planning, we knew we wanted a band. The problem was, we had no idea where to start. Thankfully, my Mom spoke with a friend who recently attended a wedding that Boston Common Band performed at--she said you HAVE to book this band, they were so fun, everyone was dancing the entire night, etc, etc. We were living in Dallas at the time so did not have the ability to meet or see bands live prior to booking them. We watched one YouTube video and immediately made the call, which was probably the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process.

Boston Common Band was AWESOME!!! They were fun, high energy, and kept us dancing all night long. Literally, there was not a moment during our entire reception that the dance floor wasn't packed! They play a huge variety of hits from different decades, work with an awesome DJ (DJ J Boogz), and were just the best ever. We had so many guests commenting on how amazing they were. They were incredibly prompt and professional throughout the planning process, and made everything as stress-free as possible. They use a great wedding planning portal to you arrange your timeline and specific songs and scan popular songs by category for inspiration and a guide for the vibe you want to create. I had so many little questions as I organized our timeline and made our selections, and they always answered right away, with a kind and thorough response. DJ J-Boogz kept our large bridal party (20 people) organized and on schedule before introductions, and started off the night with great energy. The band learned a specific movie version of our first dance song and made our first dance feel so personalized and special. Then, they really kicked the party off and had the dance floor packed within seconds.

I am so happy with how our celebration turned out and a large part of how wonderful it was is owed to the incredible performance by Boston Common Band. I can't recommend them enough!

The Boston Common Band is amazing! They definitely were the highlight of our wedding and all our guests could not stop talking about them afterward (and to this day!). Words cannot express how lucky we feel to have chosen the Boston Common Band for our wedding on 8/15/15—in fact, it was one of, if not the best decision we made for our special day!
We had gotten engaged exactly a year before our wedding date and knew we wanted a band and had trouble finding one because all the bands in the Boston area (and even bands that were not) were already booked! We panicked but came across the Boston Common band – our wedding was the last Saturday of the summer they had available! It seemed like fate.
Long story short is we were never able to see them play prior to our wedding and I promise you—they delivered nothing short of an AMAZING and memorable night.
Prior to our wedding they were responsive and would check in each month to see how we were doing and also to remind us to fill out our online planner—which made the timeline for the evening super smooth. We even discussed options like including an “anniversary” dance and how that might affect how the night would go. Jeff and the other members of the band was so easy—they even made suggestions for songs, how things should progress during the night and were totally flexible with everything we wanted. They truly showed that they cared so much about my husband and I and to me, during the wedding planning process, that is truly priceless.
On the night of our wedding, our guests ate dinner in a tent and moved inside for dancing. They were so flexible with having multiple locations and made the transition seamless. After heading into the ballroom after dinner, when I say that the dance floor was occupied ALL night, it truly was! There was not a moment when the dance floor wasn’t full—and of course as you plan a wedding, this is one of the main things you want for your day—your guests to have as much fun as the bride and groom.
The energy of the band was incredible and I truly can’t say enough about how amazing the Boston Common Band was. We got so many compliments on “our band” !!

When we started the planning for our big day there were certain aspects of the day that were very important to is. One of those being, our music! We knew we wanted a band, but liked the idea of a DJ too and with The Boston Common Band you get both! From the beginning they were super easy to communicate with and what we loved most about them was that they weren't just a typical wedding band. They took the time to get to know the two of us and the music we liked. The wedding planner they use to help plan your big day helps you to feel super organized (and when you're a bride and thinking about a million different things all at once), its nice to feel organized :) From the second they started playing at our reception our guests didn't leave the dance floor! Boston Common Band made our reception! If you want to ensure that you and your guests have the time of their lives at your wedding reception, hire Boston Common Band. We were in a state of shock when we heard them start to play our first dance because of how fantastic the band was! The musicians all had incredible energy and talent that kept our dance floor completely packed all night long. If I could have given this group 100 stars, I would have. The band was absolutely OUTSTANDING! You can do NO wrong here, trust me. For the guests who didn't dance, they watched on the side while the band put on a great show. They were super interactive with the crowd and I wanted to continue to dance the night away. I honestly cannot say enough about this group, you will not be disappointed. They learn a song for you at your request, and truly play to the crowd. BOOK THIS BAND. I can't describe how amazing they made our night. The dance floor was never empty, and people are still telling us how they'll never forget the band's performance. The instrumentalists were truly talented, the singers had incredible energy, and they all worked together for a spectacular show. I wish I could re-live their performance over again!

I can't say enough great things about our experience with the Boston Common Band!! Throughout our lengthy wedding planning process, Jonathan and Josh (DJ J-Boogz) were always quick to respond and provide helpful feedback to any of a wide variety of questions I sent their way. Josh was super on top of making sure that people were where they needed to be for entrances, speeches, etc. and coordinating other last minute changes on the day of our wedding. Knowing that he had everything under control allowed me to relax and enjoy every moment of our big day! Most importantly, the band's performance was phenomenal!! This band is amazing. They are so professional and responsive. They spent a lot of time working through exactly what we wanted and understanding our music preferences. They learned a grateful dead song and not well known country song for us and performed them perfectly. They knew how to read the crowd and played a perfect mix of old and new songs. Boston Common Band did a terrific job for our July 5th wedding - they made sure to spend plenty of time discussing the plans over the phone, were extremely thorough and professional, and were overall just a GREAT Band that every guest at our wedding loved. Everyone commented on how there was not one person sitting down - they truly got EVERYONE involved and the crowd was just electric due to the Band's awesome energy. From the intro's to the song selections, they knew exactly how to make it an unbelievably fun night. They even had some break dancers which was a great and unexpected addition to the fun. Boston Common Band was the best decision I ever made for my wedding! My husband and I couldn't have been happier with everything they did for us that night. From the vocals, to the lighting and to the overall sound of the band, just awesome. They kept our wedding guests entertained from the moment they walked into our venue until the moment they walked out! All guests were up and dancing the entire night. They were super easy, flexible and so much fun to work with. They were able to accommodate a pianist for our cocktail hour, live band and DJ all in one night, the ultimate perfect combination. Guests to this day keep saying how awesome the band was at our wedding. My family loved them so much that my brother booked them for his wedding this upcoming summer. Can't wait to party it up with them all again! I highly recommend them to play at any big event, you won't be disappointed!

The BCB has a great set up in that the package includes 8 band members plus a DJ. The DJ plays during the band’s set breaks. They also have a keyboard player who played during cocktail hour for us. The band is extremely talented, and the DJ was also great at getting people out on the dance floor. They are very well organized with a great online system for sending them your schedule, song requests, do-not-play songs, etc. My husband had a call with DJ Shyne a week before and he helped us further figure out our entire timeline. DJ Shyne was also the MC and did an amazing job – didn’t butcher anyone’s name, timed the entrance songs perfectly. He even helped us transition from “My Girl” to gangnam style for the father-daughter dance –not an easy thing to do but he really made it work! My only small complaint was that there were a number of songs I put on our “must play” list which were never played, as far as I know. This could happen with other bands as well, not sure! I call it a small complaint though because overall I was so pleased with our choice of music, the band is so talented and played some great stuff! I should also mention that the DJ took care of our lighting for us in the venue, so we had some great uplighting, which he matched perfectly to my wedding colors. Highly recommend!

Boston Common Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. I think every single one of our 172 guests came up to us and said that they were unbelievable. They truly took our wedding to the next level. What an amazingly talented group. If you are looking for a great wedding band that will make your event unforgettable, look no further.

The Boston Common Band was fantastic! I was a little nervous since I hadn't actually gone to see them play, but the moment they started in on the first dance song, we knew it was going to be great! They played to the crowd and everyone at the wedding was up and dancing. I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys seriously ROCK!!!! We used the Boston Common Band for our wedding and I am trying to put the words together on how absolutely amazing this group is! Their Band and DJ package was the perfect choice for my wedding.

Planning our reception with the DJ was simple, fun, and really settled my nerves! I knew he had control of my event weeks before our big day! His announcements were perfect, and let me say that some of the names in my bridal party are fairly difficult to pronounce.

The band performance was unbelievable!! The songs they played kept people dancing all night! We didn't need to request a single song, they knew exactly what my guests wanted to hear to keep them going.

We also booked our up lighting with them, and the venue was beautiful beyond my imagination! The stage setup, lights and overall neatness of the band made my reception pictures look amazing! I would highly recommend this Band/DJ package to anyone! They are exceptional musicians, and true professionals. I'm so happy we booked them!

I cannot even begin to describe how great our experience with Boston Common was. From the moment we first spoke with them they were professional, organized, understanding and very easy to contact and quick with responses. The planning phone calls before the wedding were very helpful and was one less thing we had to worry/stress about leading up to the wedding.

Then came their performance at the wedding... Amazing! They played so many different types of songs, and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. The instrumentals were fantastic and I would definitely recommend adding the saxophone. The male and female vocals were outstanding, we were amazed how they could sing so many different types of songs.

This may seem biased, but I can honestly say they were the best wedding band we've ever seen, and we were so lucky to have them be a part of our wedding.

The Boston Common Band was by far the best band we could have chosen for our wedding. They were recommended to us by a family memeber who had seen them perform at a wedding the year prior, saying it had been the best band they had ever seen at a wedding.
Our wedding was a small wedding (70 people) but the band from start to finish had the entire party out on the dance floor! They performed the best combination of classic and new hits, that had people of all ages dancing up a storm! The DJ (Josh) who MC'd the night for us, did an amazing job of keeping the party going during dinner and when the band was in between sets. We would/will highly recommend the Boston Commond Band to many of our friends and family who will marry in the future.

These guys are so fun and added so much to my wedding. I have to cop to a little bit of hesitation in signing with them based on the website. My husband and I do not fall in the typical demographic for first time bride and grooms, we are both in our 40s, and I was concerned that the band would not be able to read the room. I could not have been more wrong. In fact, I don't see how we could have possibly done better than Boston Common. They would be amazing for any age group, their repertoire is that expansive.

These guys (and girl) are not only great musicians and supremely talented, but they can dance! At one point, the dance floor was a little sparse, so a couple of the members of the band/dj team got out and totally got down to try to rile up the audience to get on the dance floor. They didn't just do their job, they went over and beyond.

As far as organization and flexibility, they were great. Jonathan and Jeff (DJ Shyne) were both great to work with and it is completely evident they know how to do this gig better than anyone.

For those brides who are looking for a band who doesn't sound like a wedding band, these are your guys (and girl). They are a level above.

We chose Boston Common to play our wedding in August of last year. They were, quite simply, AWESOME!! I can't even count the number of friends that kept saying to us that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard! Even our photographers mentioned how great they were, and I'm sure they've heard many many other bands before.

The best part about them is the fact that they are all phenomenal musicians that you can tell take pride in what they do. I really appreciated the fact that they took the time to meet with us and make sure that their style and playlist lined up with our ideas for the evening.

My husband and I already thinking of ways to have another party so we can hire them again! We fully recommend Boston Common and are so glad we had them perform at our wedding!

We had Boston Common Band perform at our wedding this past September. Let me tell you, EVERYONE was on the dance floor from the moment they started playing! They were so good that my family and friends even had them perform TWO encores!

Also, since we're from NYC, they have an all online based planning system that made it super-easy for us to coordinate all of the events with their DJ. As I'm sure all of you couples know, planning all the details can be overwhelming, but with these guys, it made everything SO SO simple. Really, there's nothing more we could have asked for from Boston Common Band. I'd give them 6 stars if it were possible!!

What else is there to say other than Boston Common Band was AMAZING. My fiance and I went and listened to several bands prior to booking one for our wedding. After their first note, we knew we wanted Boston Common Band to play for us. Beyond the band, they provide a DJ for breaks and a really cool light system. Value wise, there is no comparison. the Boston Common Band helped make our entire wedding magical! Everything that they did the entire evening was spot on, and nearly all of our guests that we spoke to afterwards could not stop raving about how much fun they had at our wedding, dancing and singing along all night - and we have the pictures to prove it!
Choosing vendors can be a hard thing to do, but its a pretty easy choice with these guys. From the first time we contacted them they were responsive, professional, and accommodating to all of our requests. They will learn how to play songs that you request, so your wedding reception truly feels like yours and not a standard playlist. The band also comes with a DJ package, so there is never any down time from beginning to end - and they will work with you to ensure that all of your requests are honored as much as possible (including our k-pop music!) They truly bring the party, including their own sound system, stage lighting, and set-up crew who aren't afraid to show off some dance moves!
The best part of all is that they HAVE FUN! They are enjoying the night as much as all your guests, and the energy and enthusiasm that they bring really help get the crowd into it and make the night really special. They are very versatile as well, so its easy to understand why everyone has so much fun - there is something for everyone.

Boston Common Band was the absolute highlight of our wedding. They kept the dance floor going all night long and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Even a month after our wedding, our friends and family are still talking about how great they were. When the band took its breaks, they had DJ Matty G step in. To be honest, we were a bit worried about Matty because he didn’t have any reviews but he did a great job keeping the party going and was exactly what we were looking for. One additional thing to note is that the band only allows for 3 song requests which get taken up by the first dance and parent dances(even if they are traditional wedding type songs). This was not an issue for us at all as the band obviously knew what they were doing and every song they played was great. We would strongly recommend Boston Common Band to any couple looking to have a blast at their reception. Thank you, Christine and Jay

I don't even know where to start. I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this band. They are by far thee best wedding band I have ever seen. They are not only incredible musicians, but put on quite a show when on the stage! Each member has such a unique personality they bring to the overall performance, and several times throughout the night the band got down on the dance floor to entertain and teach different dances. Not to mention the DJ that comes with it! It truly is the best of both worlds... My husband wanted a DJ and I wanted a band so this was the PERFECT compromise. I HIGHLY recommend them, they sound EXACTLY like the artists who actually sing the songs and the musicians are incredibly talented. Hire them, it's the best decision you can make to ensure that your wedding is a blast!

"Best of Boston" is an understatement! The BCB was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our planning process. From the beginning, they were very professional and absolutely wonderful to work with. The wedding itself was a blast and my guest are still raving about them! All I keep hearing is "your wedding was amazing", and I can honestly say that a lot of it had to do with the BCB. They are more than musicians - they are entertainers! Our wedding was like a live concert and everyone had front row! I look forward to recommending them for year's to come, and I feel lucky to have had them part of our big day!

Each member of the band, the manager, and the DJ they brought with them were FANTASTIC - they read the crowd, played a great mix of new hits and classic favorites and kept the guests on their feet. Even after they performed their requested encore song, everyone kept chanting 'one more song' - we couldnt get enough of them! The entertainment can really make or break and event, and if youre looking for a talented, professional, kick-ass band, Boston Common is for you!!

We just had our outdoor wedding a couple of weeks ago and had Boston Common Band at our event. They were AMAZING! I honestly cannot say enough about them. From the minute I contracted with them to play at my wedding, they were nothing but professional and easy to work with. They called me/emailed me plenty of times before the wedding just to "check in" with me. They were quick to respond to any questions that I had prior to the event. Right before the big day they spent a long time giving me suggestions on song choices..which were all perfect by the way! The band even learned to play the songs for my first dance and the dance with my father!
And during the wedding, they did not disappoint! Sometimes we couldn't tell if it was the Band signing or the actual song. Other songs they put their own great spin on it. People from the wedding are still coming up to me and asking "who was that great band" and that "the band made the wedding!". I couldn't agree with them more. The dancefloor was packed from dinner until the last dance.
So to any bride to be out there that is wishing for the perfect band to add fun, excitement and great music to their night, book The Boston Common Band. It will be the best decision you ever made.

BOSTON COMMON BAND IS THE BEST BAND EVER! The band had everyone up and dancing...even people who I thought for sure would be stuck to their seats all night. We continually heard comments from guests throughout the night, "this is the best wedding band I have ever heard", "i have never had so much fun dancing", " all the musicians are really talented." We decided to add in two horns (trumpet and sax), and wow...absolutely amazing! Even our photographer commented that they were one of the best bands he has ever heard (and I can only imagine how many wedding bands he hears). Bottom line - you can't go wrong with Boston Common Band, they will not disappoint!

The Boston Common Band was an INCREDIBLE wedding band! Prior to the big day, the were extremely professional and attentive to work with, and they had everyone dancing from start to finish during the reception. I had so many people come up to me after the wedding to let me know this was the BEST wedding band they had ever heard. We heard of the band from a friend who had been a guest of a wedding they performed at and said they were awesome. From our first consultation with the band, we knew we had made the right choice. They are absolute professionals (musicians and DJ) and helped us manage every aspect of our special day..... making it absolutely stress-free. DJ Shyne was a great MC and such a pleasure to deal with as was Jonathan and the rest of the band..... just awesome people!!!
The music was great and they kept folks up and dancing for the entire evening. We got so many comments afterward about how great the band was. They certainly helped make our wedding memorable.
Finally, we really feel this was such a good value. We got so much for our money (piano music during cocktail hour, a DJ during dinner who also served as MC and an unbelievable band with spectacular lighting and equipment!). We would recommend Boston Common Band to anyone.

The Boston Common Band made our wedding complete. They are all such talented musicians not to mention amazing people. They made our planning for our wedding day completely stress free. We didn’t want your typical wedding where there is a first dance, people are announced, a set play list, speeches etc. We wanted this to be a true party with no interruptions. We told this to the band and also to the DJ and they totally ran with it. All they needed to know were a few musicians who we loved and they took it from there. Every song they played was better than the one before. Both the DJ and the Band made our wedding so unforgettable not only for us but also for our guest. So many people asked me where I found them and that they had never been to a wedding where they actual loved the band and DJ. The care takers of the sea side retreat that was our wedding venue told us the next day that so many of his neighbors had stopped by to ask about the band and to say how amazing they were and how they danced on their own porches that night because the breeze carried the music to their homes. It’s so rare to find a band that appeal to the bride and groom and also to the older guest and the younger guest. We were a hard crowd to please as we had a mix of Bostonians, New Yorkers and Europeans and yet they hit the nail on the head with a perfect night!!!! I would recommend this band a million times over and if I had to do my wedding over again I would pick them and all their choices of music every time!!! Just outstanding!!

5 stars is not even enough to rate how great Boston Common is. They were so amazing at our wedding. They learned three songs for us one of which was a super old song and they played it like it wasn't even a challenge. It sounded better than the original. Everyone was up and dancing the whole time, including the older folk!! I couldn't wish up a better band than Boston Common. I HIGHLY recommend that you hire this group for your wedding you will NOT regret it.

The Boston Common Band was absolutely fantastic! We were nervous because we were planning the wedding remotely and have never seen the band live before. Based on some YouTube videos, we felt the band fit the bill and signed them. Boy were we pleasantly surprised on our wedding night! The band was incredible and all of our guests talked endlessly about how great the band was. Everyone in the band was very professional and the entire night went smoothly. I can't remember a moment when people weren't out there dancing.

One special thing the band did was learn the First Dance song even though we had no idea they were playing it live. We only told them what the song would be about a week before the wedding! Thank you guys so much for doing that and for making our wedding a very memorable one!

We are delighted to have made the decision to use the fantastic Boston Common band and superb DJ Josh Boogz for our wedding and encourage anyone to do the same for any event that you might be planning. Their performance can be described in many superlatives, but only one is really necessary...PERFECT!

When you still have people mentioning that the band and wedding were the best that they've ever attended over three weeks after the event and asking for the band's contact details for their engaged friends to use, then you can see the kind of incredible impression and wonderful memories that they left with our guests.

We thought that trying to decide upon which band to use for our wedding would be a difficult and long process, but after having attended one of their open shows listed on their website http://www.bostoncommonband.com/, it was immediately clear to us that we knew we wanted them to be our band for the wedding. They had perfect sound & volume control of the venue they were operating in and their vocal range on both current and classic songs was perfectly executed. They performed excellent covers that left no one wanting for the original, and no one sitting in their seats, when we saw this in the bar where we viewed them, we knew that if they could command this stage like they are, they would surely be perfect for our wedding, and they were.

Manager Jonathan Wiegratz was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process and answered all our questions and requests very quickly and Dj Josh Boogz ran our event smoothly with tremendous organization, enthusiasm and great skill. It really helped to have both a DJ and band working in tandem throughout the night, as the night continued to flow without any interruptions and energy, and they coordinated seamlessly with our caterer/event manager to make the event roll on without any pauses. The band was able to fulfill our request to learn a song for our first dance and the two lead singers were showstoppers throughout the night. Their lighting was a lifesaver as we hadn’t really planned for much of it ourselves and people commented on how cool the effects look on our outdoor tent.

The Boston Common band were great fun, very friendly and provided us with an atmosphere that we could only have dreamed of at the start of the planning stages. They really are an exceptionally talented group of musicians and when you are able to maintain people dancing from ages 5 to 80 (often at the same time) in over a 4 hour period, and have the guests still dancing and demanding more, then you know that you are in the presence of greatness. Even more than being able to get all age ranges of people onto the dance floor, a true testament to their talent was that they were able to get our group of 30 folks from the UK (who don’t listen to the same popular artists on their radios) dancing alongside the US residents, to our classic songs such as Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ and to Black Eyed Peas ‘I Gotta Feeling’. And I don’t mean they were just trying to get the beat and shake their waist around to the rhythm, I mean they were jumping around & fist pumping along with the locals, trying to bring their own kind of sexy back from England. This band was so good, the whole night long, that our very expensive and delicious selection of dessert items went relatively untouched as everyone was on the dance floor instead of idly mingling around the food. THAT good.

The band had been highly recommended to us when we were looking around Boston for a group to use for our wedding and we feel that we owe it to them to provide them with as glowing a testimonial and as positive a recommendation as we can provide, as they really surpassed our expectations and made our wedding an incredible and unforgettable experience for us and our guests!

These guys are really wonderful-SO organized, responsive, easy to deal with and sincerely nice people. The combo of the band + DJ REALLY makes the night so much fun--they are really talented and you never have any down time at all with DJ Shyne there to mix beats between sets! The entire wedding was up and dancing and having a BLAST the whole time--they were sincerely awesome.

The Boston Common Band and DJ were fantastic at our wedding. We had piano playing during the cocktail hour which also offered great entertainment. We couldn't have asked for a better band to play our wedding. Everyone raved after the wedding about how fun, professional, and exciting Boston Common Band was. The band was exactly how we imagined. Highly recommended!!

We heard of this band through word of mouth. We live out of state and viewed many of their video's online. After speaking with the band, I knew we had made the right choice. We booked this band even before we booked our wedding hall. During and after the wedding we continue to get complements on how good the band was. DJ Shyne as DJ and MC kept the party moving all night and we cannot say enough good things about them both. If you're in the New England area and looking for a band. EXCEPTIONAL! My husband and I spend a lot of time and energy to find the "perfect band" for our wedding. We contacted several agencies, and invested a lot of effort including many painful hours of watching wedding bands on youtube! Don't waste your time...these guys are hands down the way to go! I am a wedding photographer and attend an increadible amount of weddings each year. I have seen and heard wedding bands all the way from the Carolinas to New England and feel that without a doubt these guys are of the highest quality. From my first conversation with Jonathan on the phone I knew there was something different about this band. He made a few simple suggestions that obviously came from experience and had a unique insight into how a wedding should smoothly flow. This is what caught my immeadiate attention, then I discovered how talented the band is. Jonathan very much focused on the small details which in the end are crucial to a successful party. There wasn't a moment at our reception that people weren't dancing and fully entertained thanks to the well thought out timeline. Jonathan informed me that his dad was also in a wedding band and his exposure to the industry and profession came at an early age, and it was quite apparent. Boston Common Band has plenty of experience and a fresh and energetic vibe! These guys are VERY talented and full of knowledge about sound quality and also their wide variety of genres. Jonathan was very accomodating and at our initial meeting at our venue he was checking the acoustics in the room(our reception was in a large atrium that had a ton of glass and marble-not an easy venue to play) and making sure that everything would be of highest quality. I was given a few simple suggestions as to what I could do in a cost-effective way to make the room more music friendly! I was then introduced to DJ Shyne who was an absolute delight to work with! I consider myself to have very vast and specific taste in music. If I had a request (from Biggie to Talking Heads) it was played, even mixed! DJ Shyne spend a lot of time customizing our playlist and giving me excellent suggestions that were very appropriate to our tastes. I was that bride that didn't hesitate to ask a ton of questions and get very specific with my needs, and they were all satisfied and exceeded by Boston COmmon Band and DJ SHyne. I was even changing things up until cocktail hour! They nailed it all and didn't miss a beat... Our first dance was Jason Mraz's song "lucky" and it was absolutly on point. These guys are worth far more than they charge. I considered bands that were much more expensive and found that they don't even come close to the quality experience you get with these guys! I know that my guests were blown away because my phone hasn't stopped ringing with rave reviews about our party! Do yourself a favor and hire this band. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with than DJ SHyne- this guy has got it going on....polite, knowledgable, and very talented. If i was doing it all over again, I would undoubtedly be having Boston Common Band at my event! My wedding ROCKED!

great band. kept the placing dancing all night long. when the band took breaks the DJ took over so there was never down time. everyone had a great time.

My wife and I were married last September in CT and could not have been happier with The Boston Common Band. What's amazing about them is that they really function as a great band, not just a great wedding band. We had ask them to learn three songs which they did perfectly and had also asked explicitly that our guests got up and stayed up dancing through the whole party and Boston Common kept the party going strong all night. I can't count how many guests commented on the music. Our friends were covered in sweat by the end of the night from the non stop dancing. They play great contemporary songs and are a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Boston region! All I can say is The Boston Common Band was amazing. My wife and I got so much positive feedback from there performance. Everyone said by far the best band they have ever seen at a wedding and I agree! We had to hire Boston Common unseen do to my demanding graduate school schedule. Based on the information on there website (including videos) and the fact they are Berkley grads we decided on them. Their attention to detail during the preparation of our event insured us we made the right choice and we never had to worry. Then on the day of the wedding their performance just proved we made the right choice. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception took top priority. Quality music was especially important for us since some my husband's family and some of our friends are musicians - tough critics. We wanted the music to be lively and fun - songs that young and old know, but that aren't dated or cheesy; songs that would keep everyone on the dance floor all night; songs that would make the wedding a real party.
Because neither of us are from New England, all of our planning was remote. We never heard the Boston Common Band live before our actual wedding, but we did listen to them on YouTube. The clips don't do them justice. Simply put, the band and DJ were AMAZING! The dance floor was packed the entire night! They are all truly gifted musicians. One month later, our family and friends are still raving about it. According to everyone we talk to, the band was "out of this world,"and "an incredibly tight band" We agree! The band and DJ stuck to exactly what we wanted and created the most amazing playlists ever. They were so receptive to our thoughts and concerns leading up to the wedding. The lead singers learned Adele's version of "Make You Feel My Love" for our first dance and it came out so beautiful that a couple guests actually cried. They have an unbelievable level of talent for a relatively young group of individuals.
I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone that they book the Boston Common Band for a wedding. They really made our party wonderful and are a great value.

I cannot stress this enough - Boston Common Band was absolutely out-of-this-world FANTASTIC. They were above and beyond our expectations on a wedding band. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any event in the future. Some comments to highlight: They were young, professional, REALLY talented musicians/singers who really got the guests of ALL ages involved and dancing. Everyone commented how they were the BEST wedding band they have EVER heard. I loved how the singers would give shout outs to our flower girl and ring bearer and even got my dad on stage singing and dancing! They accommodated the groom to play his guitar with them for one song. All the music that was played was present-day dancing music for all ages. The singers interacted with us and made our wedding even more memorable. They are SOOOO worth every penny spent. I was so happy with their performance - they are one of the BEST vendors we went with.

Folks - you will NOT be disappointed. BOOK THEM NOW. They are amazing!!!

I could not recommend Boston Common Band more highly. We knew we wanted a band that was hip and fresh and energetic, and they were all those things and more. People were dancing all night long, which is just what we wanted, and tons of compliments were paid to the band. Moreover, the band listened to all our requests and adjusted to some of our particulars without a problem. They even did a fantastic Hava Nagila. :) You cannot go wrong with Boston Common Band!

Boston Common was amazing! They took great care in understanding what we wanted for our wedding. Not only was the music fantastic, they made sure that the events of the wedding went smoothly, nothing was rushed and everyone had a fabulous time. The band sounded wonderful and our DJ was entertaining AND efficient. Boston Common is the perfect wedding entertainment!
