James was incredibly professional and willing to play whatever we asked. We had a Zoom call a week or so beforehand to discuss the plan. Music was very important to our wedding and he was attentive in playing the 90s rock/alternative music we requested. He had been to our venue, The Perry House, before, so he was also familiar with the set up and knew exactly what to do. If we had another event, I would definitely ask him to DJ again!

I loved Tim’s video that he put together for us. He made everything very simple with links to pick songs. So much less to think about for me! I just showed our video to a coworker and it made her cry!! Thank you Tim for capturing our day and love story :)) Highly recommend!

Easy to work with, reliable, kind & intentional people. Your team is the best & your food was fantastic! I don’t think I got to say this after — but you guys did a fabulous job. Such a special day & omg everyone keeps telling me how great the food was. The attention to detail, the little stories, they went above and beyond!!!!

My wife and I got married two months ago in Ben Lomond and we still find ourselves talking about how outstanding of a job Dave did and continually receive compliments from our guests. We chatted with Dave before our wedding and he described his focus on exactly what we wanted: capturing “in-between” moments, so to speak, like members of our respective families meeting for the first time, or friends from different spheres of our lives dancing together. My wife and I recently recalled several moments at our wedding where we appreciated a special moment we were having with a guest and thought to ourselves, “you know, it would be really cool to have a photo of what’s happening right now.” Every single time, right after having this thought, we heard a click followed by a flash. He must be a wizard or something. We recently got our finished photos and we were delighted to see countless other priceless snapshots we had no idea happened until now. While these in-between moments were obviously incredibly important for us, Dave is top notch when it comes to posed group photos as well. He’s incredibly skilled at wrangling the necessary people into photos and being considerate of time, and if we ever felt like one segment of photos was going too long, we just told him so and we’d move on. Dave is an incredible talent and just an incredible guy too. We’ll never forget him and can't recommend him highly enough.

Bret was fantastic and very kind!! He provided my ceremony music, cocktail music and reception music at a very reasonable price. He was very communicative and caring about what I wanted for my wedding. I will definitely use him again if I ever need a DJ for another big event. Thank you sooo much Bret!!

I didn't want to romanticize the wedding day too much, but it was more than I could've ever imagined. The Wedding Connection is experienced, calm, and relaxed. Casey was great to work with, and highly recommend this team for your wedding needs. They provided a project planning site with an extensive checklist, vendor recommendations, and checked up throughout the process to see if we needed help with anything. Casey provided recommendations if I ever was unsure of something, and helped make the day extra special. Thank you Wedding Connection!

Barbara & Company catered an event for me in August 2024. I couldn't have been happier with Marina from the first email to clean up. Staff was efficient, caring and reassuring throughout. I didn't have to do anything other than answer a few questions. Food was fantastic. Everyone attending raved about the tri tip and hula chicken as well as the sides and the garlic bread. I've even received notes after the event asking about the caterer and food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in doubt.

Booking Five Star was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They took care of appetizers, signature cocktails, bartending, dinner, dessert, all rentals, table side service and more! It was truly such a fun process from start to finish getting to dream up the perfect menu, pick all the rentals, taste the food and then sit back and watch Laura and team bring our vision to life. They even perfectly stacked and decorated our 2 gluten free Milk Bar cakes, provided my baby niece with extra strawberries during dinner because they saw she was loving them, and brought in a full oven to make our Beef Wellington entree dreams come true. The food was outstanding and we received soo many compliments about how delicious and fresh everything was, but what truly made this a 5-star experience was the gracious service that made our guests feel so taken care of throughout the evening. We can't thank the Five Star team enough and will definitely be booking them for our next large scale event!

My wife and I had a fall wedding in Ben Lomond: setting up everything with Santa Cruz Experience was really straightforward. They were very familiar with the area and our venue, so putting together a plan with them was easy. They are super flexible with regards to what times and locations you'll need them at for your special day. They just give off that vibe that they really know what they are doing, which is always what you want as someone trying to throw together a wedding!
