Rebecca is AMAZING! We booked Rebecca as a Day of Coordinator but she was so much more than that for the months before the wedding and especially during the month of. We wanted to do a most of the planning ourself so there were many DIY components to our day. Our venue also had us bring in all our vendors and wasn't the easiest to get to in the Santa Cruz mountains. To top that off, it was during a "rare spring storm" (aka thunderstorms all weekend) for what we planned initially as an entirely outdoor wedding. Needless to say, the week before was incredibly stressful. Rebecca helped us so much with finding tents, implementing a rain plan, working with the venue to make the plan work, and helping me through my freak outs. Rebecca and her team worked to miraculously bring the day together including putting together all our DIY elements, setting up a ceremony space that was very intimate and personalized, a receptions space in a tent that allowed our guests to befriend one another with ease, and awesome dance party after. Because of the weather, all that I had originally envisioned had to change but Rebecca and her team helped pull it all together. It ended up being an incredibly beautiful and magical day. Where do I even begin with Rebecca and her team at Danzante Events? We called Rebecca a few months before our wedding because I was struggling with all the details and needed day-of coordination as well. From our first phone call with Rebecca we felt like we were working with a friend. She took note of all the vendors that still needed to be booked and gave great suggestions for who to reach out to. I sent her so many messages through email or phone and she made sure everything got taken care of right away. We only had about 3 hours for set up on our wedding day and everything went on without a hitch! Thank you so much to Rebecca, Mandy, and the rest of the team for making our dream day come true. Having Rebecca on your side is like having a genie in a bottle. We knew we needed a day-of coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly on the wedding day, but Rebecca turned out to be way more than that. For example, Rebecca spent half a day at the rental shop helping us pick out table decor only for us to find out that she worked through lunch just to help us make things happen! And when our DJ had to withdraw from our contract with just three days before the wedding, Rebecca swiftly rescued the situation by recommending another DJ who was familiar with the venue, sent him our song list, and made sure everything went better than planned.Sent on 02/19/2018
As we got to know her, and she got to know us, we found ourselves able to completely trust her to the unexpected so we didn't have to. As the day gets closer, so many things needed to get taken care of, and Rebecca was there help us with everything from picking up ferns after I finally decided on how to decorate the ceremony site, to making sure that the reception dinner was beautifully set up with the decor items that we brought. She was also full of great suggestions when it came to decor, atmosphere, and little tips to make sure that things would go smoothly. Her experience and skill really stood out as she kept us on schedule from 3 months out through the very end. On the big day, knowing that everything is going to fall into place is no accident, and we honestly can't imagine anyone doing a better job.
