From her early beginnings serving in and managing restaurants, to planning and running exceptional weddings and events, hospitality is in Lia’s DNA.
Lia began her career in weddings in 2006 working with Coastside Couture living and breathing all things wedding planning. From there, Lia combined her love of food and event planning taking the lead as Events Manager for Feast For a King Catering.
Having enjoyed her time private cheffing and catering, Lia wanted to take her expertise out of the kitchen and focus on her passion for producing events from start to finish. In 2017 she started Lia Adams Events and her business and capability have continued to grow ever since.
When she’s not orchestrating memorable events for her clients, she loves cooking dinner at home with her beau Adam, adventures with her pup Joey, and visiting her beloved nephew Kaleb in San Diego.
Sophie has been part of the Lia Adams Events family for the past five years. Though she started as part of our larger events team, she quickly earned her way into a lead planning position thanks to her attention to detail, initiative, responsiveness and genuine care for others.
As an Enneagram 7, you'll find that Sophie is positive, kind, and outgoing. And, in addition to being an organizational wizard, she has the ability to remain calm, cool and collected - no matter how challenging a wedding day might be.
When she’s not placing out escort cards, wrangling the flower girls or carefully packing up your grandmother's toasting flutes, she enjoys surfing, spending quality time with close friends and family, and crafting ceramics.
