We cannot say enough good things about Lia Adams Events. From start to finish, Lia made our destination California wedding feel not only possible, but genuinely enjoyable.
Lia is an amazing listener and a strong advocate. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, she stepped in with clarity, reassurance, and solutions — always making sure my voice was heard. She went far above and beyond what we expected, including letting us ship all our wedding items directly to her and personally putting together our welcome bags with so much care.
What truly sets Lia apart is how supported you feel when working with her. She is organized, thoughtful, and deeply invested in her couples. By the end of the process, it felt less like working with a vendor and more like gaining a trusted friend.

Hire Lia. I searched high and low for a planner that felt right for our complex, large scale event. The wedding industry is overwhelming, and at times exhausting — working with Lia changes all of that. She’s so incredibly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of every part of a wedding production — she’s an expert in catering, design, logistics, troubleshooting — but most of all, it’s obvious from the moment you meet her that she’s here to be on your team. Lia is a fierce champion for her couples — she went to bat for us when things were tough, found solutions before we even knew there was a problem, and earned our total trust with the most important day of our lives in a heartbeat. She managed a complex event with an incredible team, and not a single leaf was out of place — and she and her team made it all look easy. None of it would have been possible without her. -

I would recommend Lia over and over again for anyone looking for leadership in the events space. Lia leads with so much compassion and confidence and was willing to go the extra mile and a half to make sure we were taken care of during our wedding journey every step of the way. Truly cannot express how grateful we are for her willingness to always be there for us throughout. This is going to sound a bit cliche, but she felt like our sole savior during an experience that was full of unexpected twists and turns.
She’s a sound thought partner, communicator and collaborator, and when things may seem stormy she provides the calm and expertise to keep everything going. She brought creative solutions for us to stay within budget (even save money), and she had amazing contacts to help us bring one of a kind elements to our event.
Felt like we became best friends throughout the journey.

From the first meeting we had with Lia, my husband and I knew this was the best investment we could have made in planning our wedding, especially since we had chosen a rustic venue that required us to bring lots in ourselves (eg., luxury port-a-potties, staff). Lia is experienced to know all the little quirks of planning a wedding and has a way of putting you at ease when you panic about something you hadn’t yet thought of - she is always ten steps ahead of you. On the day of, she made sure everything flowed smoothly and that we weren’t worried about any logistical details. Last but not least, she’s incredibly warm, fun, and down-to-earth, which made the planning process feel like a breeze. A surprising amount of guests came up to us at the end of the night telling us this was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to and we know Lia played a big part in making that a reality. -

I've been meaning to write this review for such a long time! Lia, by chance, helped my now husband plan out his proposal and when he told me this, I knew she had to be our wedding planner as well!
Lia was nothing short of AMAZING to have alongside us for our wedding journey. She brought our wedding vision to life! In such a way that went above and beyond what we had originally imagined. She's friendly, professional, communicative, detail-orientated, and made us (mostly me- ha!) feel so calm during the whole planning process. Exhibit A: Our original DJ canceled on us 3 days before the wedding. I called Lia right away and she was able to find us another DJ within a couple of hours!
She's MAGIC and we loved her! So much so, we literally recommend her to anyone we know who is engaged! -

Lia was super easy to work with and kept us on track in the lead up to the wedding. She was always willing to take calls on weekends and evenings to accommodate our work schedules. We walked into the venue day of and it was just perfectly set up and decorated beyond my expectations without ourselves or any of our party having to worry about a thing! Lia (and her whole team) is a true professional and her calm energy in the face of changes day of was worth every dollar. Knowing her and her team were on top of everything day of allowed us to just focus on enjoying our day! -

My husband and I worked with Lia over the past year to plan our wedding. We are so thankful that we had Lia to guide us through the crazy process that is wedding planning. She was down-to-earth, honest, thorough, and made amazing vendor recommendations. She was able to help us answer the myriad of questions that came up as we planned our event, and we both felt like we were able to trust her and her judgment throughout the entire process. I can't stress enough how much you will appreciate that in a planner as you navigate the planning process. She listened to our vision, pivoted easily when things changed here and there with our budget, and did a great job of ensuring we understood the timeline for planning and to-dos.
Because of Lia, our wedding flowed effortlessly from start to finish. I felt like once the ceremony began, we didn't think once about anything planning related the rest of the evening. I am still looking back and smiling about our day, grateful that we got to spend quality time with our loved ones. When considering all of the factors that go in to hosting a wedding, I prepared myself that there would probably be a few things here or there that come up. But honestly, it all felt magical and will always be one of the best days of our lives. I highly recommend Lia Adams Events for any event that you're planning. -

We looked far and wide for the right wedding coordinator, and I can say without a doubt that Lia is everything we could have possible hoped for in one.
She worked with us leading up to the wedding, offering her time, patience, and expertise in the wedding business. On the weekend of the wedding, she effortlessly executed on our vision and took care of every detail. The wedding day was perfect, from start to finish.
Her prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service offered. She's been in the business for many years, and her deep connections to other local vendors made our life even easier.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to help with your wedding - would work with her again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much Lia! -

Lia was absolutely awesome!! From the time we first met her to the day of our wedding, Lia was great and we’re very happy with our decision to have her as our coordinator. We signed up for her month/day-of service, and it was exactly what we needed. Although we didn’t sign up for full service, she was always available to talk with and answer questions. Lia is easy talk with and very professional. She has a lot of experience with event planning and it shows with how she took care of us. We were always at ease during our check-ins with her leading up to the wedding. During our wedding including rehearsal, Lia was the calm during the storm and handled everything for us. One thing that made her stand out from other coordinators we talked with was her laid back yet professional and confident personality, and this was important during the wedding. A million things are happening all at once and you’ll want someone like Lia guiding things. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, I highly recommend Lia. Her pricing is similar to other coordinators, so it really came down to how well we meshed with her, which came easily. Do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Lia! -

Amazing team for an amazing day!
Lia and her team are FABULOUS! Throughout the planning and coordination process before the big day, Lia was incredibly responsive and helpful. On our wedding day it felt as if everything fell into place with ease - though I am sure that is because Lia and her team were on it! They treated all our guests with kindness and professionalism. Multiple of my guests asked after the event how I found such an amazing team! Absolutely would recommend Lia Adams Events!! -

Our Day Was Magical Thanks to Lia!
Lia is absolutely amazing to work with!! We had a very short engagement and were planning a micro wedding and needed someone who could step in and help make it happen. After much research online and on social media, we thankfully found Lia!
Lia went above and beyond all our expectations. She was there every step of the way from the moment we booked her and provided such amazing support. We seriously couldn't imagine our day without her, she was vital!
When some challenges out of our control (and Lia's) arose, she seamlessly smoothed them out and found solutions. Additionally, we wanted a unique wedding that was authentic to us and Lia helped us make that happen by encouraging us to follow our visions of the wedding.
Lia did so much more than plan! She transported decor and essentials to the wedding, helped our AV vendor set up, facilitated venue relations, helped with serving dinner/champagne for toasts, and honestly so much more!
What we also loved about working with Lia was the strong communication she created with our other vendors to assemble a complete team. She reached out to each of them personally and scheduled phone calls to get to know them and their processes. Our vendors shared how much they loved working with her. She handled all the communication of timeline, set-up times, etc. It took so much off our plate!
Lia also provided incredible referrals for other vendors such as florals and audio. We were so glad we went with her recommendations!
Lia's incredible teammate, Jessica, was also there to support us on our wedding and she was extremely professional, diligent, and supportive just like Lia!
We are so grateful for all Lia and Jessica did to make our day so magical! We highly recommend working with Lia Adams Events! -

Lia thought of every detail as our big day approached and kept me calm. We had to postpone our wedding twice and she helped us every step of the way. I really appreciated her checkin calls to make sure I was staying on task. She even made sure we had pet sitting lined up for our fur babies! Lia is friendly, truly cares about making your day everything you've dreamed of and supports you during the process. I didn't worry about a single thing on our wedding day knowing Lia was in charge. I highly recommend hiring Lia to help you with your wedding. She was a blessing! -

I cannot say enough about how much of an absolute delight Lia was to work with through what was one of the most emotionally and logistically challenging experiences of my life. Not only did I gain a life long friend, but she graciously guided us in maneuvering the uncharted waters of planning a wedding during COVID. Over the course of the 2 year long planning experience, we were forced to change a lot of things, one of them being our venue 5 months before the wedding among others. Lia took every single pivot with stride and pulled me back from the ledge more times than I can count. She is a true professional and I could not have planned this wedding and executed it so absolutely perfectly without her. Her staff is wonderful, her experience is immense and impressive and she is overall a shining star. My husband I look back on the experience of our wedding and the planning and logistical drama is overshadowed by how perfectly it was executed in the end. She exceeded my expectations ten fold and I would recommend her without a doubt to anyone who is in need of help coordinating any and all events. She is truly one of a kind and her work ethic and devotion to her clients is unmatched. Wish I could do it 10 more times with her by my side. -

We did not have a good experience working with Lia. Initial impression seemed great; we chose her because of her calm demeanor, collaborative attitude, solid recs, and experience with our venue.
When we started working together, I already had the venue and several vendors selected or at least narrowed down, and after taking over as the planner, Lia provided minimal support here despite her plan to drive vendor communication with ad hoc involvement and input from me to review proposals, etc. I was still running the show by myself with her simply cc’d. She did not participate on the email chains or join any vendor calls. Mind you, we were also buying a house during all of this, so I felt increasingly frustrated by her lack of proactivity or initiative to jump in and help us.
Over the subsequent few weeks, I felt more and more on my own and that Lia’s loyalty was with her vendor contacts, not with us as her clients, but I did not have the time or energy to drop her and start from scratch with someone new. She seemed visibly frustrated when we did not automatically go with her (often only one) vendor of choice and considered other strong options. When I did choose her florist, she ended up falling through. I felt like a bother when asking her for help and also felt shamed for proposing alternative / cost-saving ideas. Finally, when we chose to go with a different caterer over her “favorite,” (due to poor communication and customer service that she kept trying to justify), she decided to void our agreement and no longer plan our wedding ~2 months into the process. I am glad she returned our deposit because I’m not sure exactly what services I paid for besides a couple “update” calls I scheduled? 2 stars because I did like Lia as a person and I am leaving this feedback so she can genuinely improve her services. Because unfortunately I cannot recommend them. My fellow brides, best of luck to you!
