Our wedding was 12/10/2022 at the Carmel Mission Basilica before family and friends and most importantly, before God.

Each of the groups involved in our wedding were above and beyond more than we could have expected, Cedar and Stone wedding planning was not only “Above and Beyond”, but so much more than we had any right to expect.

Our initial meeting was simple and very conversational…feeling out who we both are and what we both wanted. Obviously, both of us (the wedding couple) wanted something simple for us but beautiful and romantic for the wedding.

Kristen San Paolo and her awesome crewmate Iliana delivered without hesitation or issue. We know that there are wedding planners in abundance but Kristen stood out in our interview process and the actual wedding! She was amazing and our wedding went off with zero problems or issues despite torrential rain as if from the bible, she was able to pivot and keep our wedding on track.

She helped us in every aspect of our wedding from taking us to her favorite party supply spot to choose plates, flatware, glasses and linen to florist suggestions, to…well...EVERYTHING! Her website Aisle Planner was such a killer app tool that wove all of this together so seamlessly that even our reception site, Fairview Laguna Seca, was in awe and wanted to use it going forward.

Far too many conversations and moments of laughter to count, and a friendship for the duration and beyond. Kristen and Cedar and Stone were spot on for each and every issue, every moment and every bit of happiness, all to the point that we could not have EVER envisioned another person with us on this day.

Kristen and her wonderful team made our wedding planning process as easy and fun as possible. From the beginning they made us feel comfortable with getting to know our vision over zoom planning sessions and providing us with easy to use online resources, like Aisle Planner. Kristen went above and beyond to make multiple vision boards, timelines, checklists, and propose wonderful ideas based on her professional opinion. Over the course of a year, we checked in every month to go over where we were on the checklists. I REALLY appreciated this because when I got stressed and overwhelmed with tasks, Kristen did everything in her power to help. She also gives a great pep talk and makes sure you are feeling calm, comfortable, and most of all excited for your big day. My husbands favorite thing that the Cedar and Stone Events team provided for us was the vendor coordination. Kristen was present for every meeting, phone call, and CC'd in all emails. She promptly took care of vendor tasks and was there to help with things we had less experience with as well as keeping invoices and payment schedules in our aisle planner. Kristen traveled with us to Sutter Creek for a final venue walk-through and helped us pick out tablescapes in person as well.
On the wedding day, the Cedar and Stone team was there from set up in the very beginning to packing up at the very end. Knowing they were there to help set up certain things and oversee the vendor set up gave me peace of mind and I did not have to step out of my dressing room one time. They coordinated it all! We had bins of decorations that we knew where we wanted, but did not know how to set it up. We gave Kristen and her team a challenge and they crushed it! They made our wedding look five star and we wouldn't have been able to it without them. We had a small vendor issue that occured during the reception and Kristen did a wonderful job at sqashing the issue on the day without us worrying about anything and even took charge of fixing the problem after the wedding day.
Overall the Cedar and Stone team is the one you need for your big day. They are smart, funny, and kind people who will become your friends throughout your planning process and share a dance with you on the dance floor. They are so professional, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. We cannot thank you guys enough!!!
