I'm a photographer in the Monterey Bay Area and beyond and always recommend Kristen to my couples. We've worked on both local and destination weddings and she knocks it out of the park every. single. time.
When I say she will do anything to make your day run smoothly, I mean it! I've witnessed her in action, solving problems other vendors created, coming up with creative solutions along the way, anticipating the needs of the couple before they have them...she's truly incredible!
She's not only creative and hard-working, she's also SO much fun to work with. I love any and every chance I get to work with her and am excited to work together on more wedding days this year!

My wife & I had the most incredible experience working with Kristen & her team as our wedding planner for our non-traditional Dyke wedding weekend! We interviewed a couple of folks prior to her and in our call we just knew it was the vibes we were looking for. Kristen is personable, professional and an overall beautiful human being we were more than happy to have throughout the whole process. Her connections to the the industry, experience in the field and can do attitude gave us so much confidence that she just had us. Highly recommend! -

Kristen is simply THE BEST. She made the entire wedding planning process from start to finish seamless. I had a lot of nerves and anxiety leading up to the wedding and she made sure to focus on specific tasks at each of our check ins which really helped. She does BOTH planning and design!! She has endless ideas to elevate your day and how to bring personal elements into the focus throughout all areas of the wedding. Come day of, she knew exactly how I wanted things laid out and really took my theme to the next level; she even brought her own items to help fill in decor. Her day of coordination team is A+++. Things went flawlessly and Sean and I were able to just focus on celebrating our love with our closest friends and family. Kristen and her wonderful team made our wedding planning process as easy and fun as possible. From the beginning they made us feel comfortable with getting to know our vision over zoom planning sessions and providing us with easy to use online resources, like Aisle Planner. Kristen went above and beyond to make multiple vision boards, timelines, checklists, and propose wonderful ideas based on her professional opinion. Over the course of a year, we checked in every month to go over where we were on the checklists. I REALLY appreciated this because when I got stressed and overwhelmed with tasks, Kristen did everything in her power to help. She also gives a great pep talk and makes sure you are feeling calm, comfortable, and most of all excited for your big day. My husbands favorite thing that the Cedar and Stone Events team provided for us was the vendor coordination. Kristen was present for every meeting, phone call, and CC'd in all emails. She promptly took care of vendor tasks and was there to help with things we had less experience with as well as keeping invoices and payment schedules in our aisle planner. Kristen traveled with us to Sutter Creek for a final venue walk-through and helped us pick out tablescapes in person as well.
On the wedding day, the Cedar and Stone team was there from set up in the very beginning to packing up at the very end. Knowing they were there to help set up certain things and oversee the vendor set up gave me peace of mind and I did not have to step out of my dressing room one time. They coordinated it all! We had bins of decorations that we knew where we wanted, but did not know how to set it up. We gave Kristen and her team a challenge and they crushed it! They made our wedding look five star and we wouldn't have been able to it without them. We had a small vendor issue that occured during the reception and Kristen did a wonderful job at sqashing the issue on the day without us worrying about anything and even took charge of fixing the problem after the wedding day.
Overall the Cedar and Stone team is the one you need for your big day. They are smart, funny, and kind people who will become your friends throughout your planning process and share a dance with you on the dance floor. They are so professional, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. We cannot thank you guys enough!!!

The most amazing coordinator ever
To summarize, Kristen was a godsend. We were living in France at the time of planning and not only did she connect with us, despite the time difference, but she completely understood our vision head to toe. I felt so comfortable with her throughout the entire planning process, even the day before she was there to reassure, call me with encouragement. I can honestly say she not only planned my dream wedding, but was a friend throughout it all. Sad the wedding planning is over, but so happy to have gained a friend at the end :)Cedar and Stone Events's reply:

Hire her!!
I absolutely enjoyed working with Kristen - she's experienced, creative, detailed, organized and great to work with. I hired her for day of wedding coordination for my wedding end of April 2023 in Monterey, which was such a great decision because I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything day of. She also helped to get us coordinated and organized for the rehearsal, which was such a breath of relief since at that point in the month before the wedding I was at my limit. She took care of everything I asked her to and other small details I hadn't thought of. I definitely would've hired her for full planning if I could have (I unfortunately was dealing with financial limitations at the time). Highly recommend her, and for anyone who's thinking about whether it's worth it to get a coordinator/planner - 1000%! As a former event manager I can tell you it's absolutely necessary even if you've planned everything to a T and used to do this for a job (not that I had, I was a hot mess cause this is seriously a full time job and I already had one). Kristen made wedding planning FUNNN and I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. She immediately understood my vision and brought it to life. I admire her creativity and her eye for design. She is very detail oriented, organized, and knowledgeable but most importantly- she put us at ease. I like her professional but easy going communication style and she was always available to answer questions. When I would get nervous about the big day, I thought to myself - Kristen will be there, everything will go perfectly! and it did! I had so much at my wedding and I will sincerely miss working together. She is real and authentic and a true joy. Highly recommend! -

She's absolutely awesome!!!
Kristen made wedding planning a breeze. She worked around our schedule and kept us on time with planning every detail of our wedding. From rentals to catering to little details in decoration, she helped us do it all. It literally felt like we were talking to a long time friend throughout this entire process. She was calm, she was always reassuring, she knew how to get things done, smoothly, and on time. All this was true on the day of our wedding as well. It was almost as if she saw the images in our head and displayed it in the garden. That’s how great she is. We highly recommend Kristen to everyone and we have already referenced her to friends and family that are planning a wedding as well. -
