very professional and fun to work with

Cindy and George were flexible and helpful. They arrived early and made some great suggestions to change the flow and the backdrop of our casual small winery wedding. They took the lead in picking the spots for formal and casual portraits. Everyone looked great -- and the portraits of us, a "mature" second wedding couple, were very flattering. The posed shots had a lot of charm and the candids were fun. Pricing was reasonable -- we picked an a la carte afternoon rather than a full package. Recommend without hesitation!

Great pictures

We live in Germany but eloped in California. I only had contact with Cindy on WeddingWire before the big day so that was a bit stressful and it was hard for me to know what to expect. But when the day came, we met Cindy and George and they are very nice people, knew how to make the most of our 2 hour session but also without putting any pressure on us. We received a lot more pictures than expected and having most of them shot from two angles makes it hard not to find a lot of good pictures.
Thank you Cindy and George for helping us remember our special day forever!

Great to work with

McCullough photography was amazing to work with! I planned my wedding from out of state and Cindy was so easy to work with. She responded very quickly. We used them for both wedding photos and wedding video. SO happy we did the video as well. It turned out amazing! Both our engagement photos and wedding day photos were beyond beautiful. Day of the wedding the McCullough team showed up early and just blended in with our party and family. They were so much fun to work with! If you are looking for amazing photographers who are affordable and produce high quality products, hire the McCullough photographers!

McCullough Photography is the BEST husband and wife team! Meeting them in person they are friendly, professional, creative, fantastic photo packages, and for me are like family. The quality of the pictures are spot on and they were able to capture those special moments. Our family and friends who have seen the pictures are very impressed on their professionalism, how they worked with the kids to get the perfect pictures, and really showing a creativity. Yes, I would refer them to anyone for wedding, special events, or family photos. They provided our pictures in a timely manner. I would have like to use them for the videography package, however my husband had set up that serivces. McCullough Photography, I would totally use again and I can't thank them enough for capturing our special day.

Cindy and George (and their son Tary) were a fantastic team. I met them at a wedding show in the area and was so undecided on a photographer, this was the most important vendor I had to choose for our wedding and it was stressful to figure out who we liked best. We ultimately chose Cindy and George for a couple reasons: they were so open and friendly upon meeting them, and the price point was much better than other photographers we'd spoken to who were offering less in their packages. We were offered an engagement shoot with them for free which was an awesome opportunity to get to know their style and get great shots. Cindy was always quickly available to answer questions or iron out details. We planned the entire day via email, and everything went fantastic. I was already frazzled when they showed up at our venue but they took care of all the important photos and got a lot of other great shots that I never would've thought about. They took care of everything and I never had to worry about whether they were capturing this or that. They even got shots of events I never saw and pics of me with guests that I don't even remember speaking to at the wedding. I hardly even knew they were there, they blended in so well and still got everything and more than I could've hoped for. Tary shot video and my family was telling me later that he literally was shooting everything all day long, our final video turned out beautiful and was so special to us. Months after our wedding was over Cindy was still retouching certain photos I later found things I didn't like on them. Couldn't have asked for a more awesome, engaged team to work our wedding!

Cindy and George were everything we could have hoped for and more when it came to photographing our destination wedding in Carmel (we traveled from Florida.). Terrific communication was surpassed only by the quality of their photos. Loved how they captured all of the little details - often forgotten in the excitement of the big day. Thanks McCullough for our amazing photos!! You guys make a great team!!

Cindy and family were awesome. She made my day perfect. She took all the photos I really wanted. She even remembered the photo that made me choose them from a book I saw at a wedding expo. I haven't seen my photos or video yet but I am so excited and will update after I do! My day couldn't have turned out more perfect and i know my photos will too!

Cindy and George were amazing! They went above and beyond and we absolutely LOVED the photos. They not only got great posed shots, but great candid shots of all our guests. I worked with Cindy before the wedding, she was very easy to communicate with, and provided all the services and then some (staying past the 5 hours to take photos of the bouquet toss). The best part was having access to all our pictures - full resolution - one month after the wedding. Cindy and George were very professional and a pleasure to have at our wedding.

I met George and Cindy at a bridal expo as one of the many photographers at were there. They stood out to me compared to others due to their kind, friendly and laid back demeanor. We ended up scheduling our engagement photos with them and man were we blown away! We then knew we were going to have spectacular wedding photos for our BIG day. Having the perfect photos for such a memorable, important and special day that will last a lifetime is extremely important to any bride and her family. George and Cindy are always on time, professional yet friendly and know exactly where to place you to take the best photos. Not only have we used them for the engagement photos, wedding photos but also used them for our family photos last week with out now 3 month old son. They have been with us from the beginning. I'm so glad they have been with us to capture the biggest milestones in our lives.

Jeff & I enjoyed working with Cindy & George. First they did our picture for our invitations. Cindy also helped design and made them for us. We received many complements on them.
Then came the wedding pictures just the way we discussed with them- casual and not posed. Certain pictures we did want they listened. They both did an amazing job. We couldn't of been happier. Besides being just great people. It was nice having a man's point of view taking pictures & a woman's - making all photos extra special.
Our guest's enjoyed having them also.
Pictures were ready for us quickly and we were glad get them on cd's so we could show our families. We will be calling them again for family pictures because they knew great places to take pictures and are very flexible on times & places.
We give them 5 stars. WE made a good choice.

The McCullough team covered our wedding day with beautiful photography and videography. It started with our engagement sitting that they had included with the package we chose. They made it a fun experience, which relaxed us in front of George's camera. We loved the pictures! On our wedding day, Cindy also had a camera and Tary had a video camera, so they were able to capture everything we wanted. All of our requests and every detail of the wedding day was perfect. Our ceremony was all of 7 minutes, as requested by my husband, so every minute was precious to us and the McCullough team captured every moment from all the right angles. In addition to the absolutely beautiful pictures George and Cindy took, every emotion, the tears, laughter, surprises, visiting with friends and family and all the romantic traditions were caught on video. We love reliving our day! Our wedding day was perfect and so are the pictures and video. We have referred the McCullough Photography to several of our friends for weddings and family pictures and we are very confident to tell everyone that they will not be disappointed in choosing McCullough Photography and Video services.

They were very nice and knew a lot about the venue I was having my ceremony at, the Carmel Mission Church. The church had certain flash/lighting rules and I did not have to worry about any of that with the McCulloughs, they knew exactly what to do and what angles to capture for best lighting and best views. They helped move the day along as well, I felt like I had an extra set of wedding coordinators.

We were so lucky to have found Cindy and George for our December wedding! We could tell even as soon as we started the casual photo session on Carmel beach that they were professional and worked well as a team. They also put us at ease and worked with our budget. During the wedding and reception we were impressed with all of the candid shots they got without intruding too much on the proceedings. Making the finished photos available on a website was great as it allowed us to easily share the whole album with friends and family. Thanks Cindy and George!

We recently had the pleasure of working with photographers Cindy and George McCullough for our engagement sitting as well as our wedding. Prior to deciding to go with Cindy and George, we had spoken with several other photographers but when we met Cindy and George, we knew they were the ones for us. They had such warm and inviting energy and were very knowledgable about their craft. We were impressed with their sample work that we viewed and after the fact, we could not be happier with our choice. They were very fun and light about everything which we enjoyed. They were responsive to all of our concerns and inquiries and were always eager to make sure we were happy with everything. They made the day of the wedding a very smooth and seamless day since they were so organized. They never felt intrusive and made sure to capture all of the most special moments and the ones we specially requested to be taken. We just recently received our discs and the photos are phenomenal! They are very high quality and I love that there is such a large selection. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend Cindy and George McCullough for your event! Cindy and George are UH-mazing!!! A friend of mine used them for her wedding and when I saw her wedding photos, I knew I had to have them. I did not look at any other photographers and I'm happy I didn't! They far exceeded my expectations and made my wedding day a smooth and memorable experience. I definitely recommend getting photo ideas to them early because they are very efficient with their time...trust me you won't regret it! They are two of the easiest people to work with and have a scary way of reading your mind when it comes to what you want for your photos. The icing on the cake is their enthusiasm for their work. You can tell they truly love what they do making you feel more at ease. I fell in love with them instantly and would recommend them to anyone that wants their special event captured!! I first met Cindy and was immediately impressed with her friendliness and attention to the details my daughter wanted at her small destination wedding. Although the wedding was small, Cindy and George were supper attentive and went way beyond, taking several pictures against several different backdrops. They even took pictures at a location away from the chapel in order to leave the couple with beautiful pictures of the Pacific, capturing the essence of the day and the locale. Cindy and George are awesome. The pictures captured it all, the quaint corners of the chapel, stained glass windows, beautiful bride and groom shots, etc. It is always with warm memories we enjoy viewing them over and over! Cindy and George were a wonderful part of our wedding day. We were first attracted to their website because their pricing is so straightforward, which we really appreciated. There were no surprises about the pricing and we get to keep the disks! They were warm and sweet to work with and they appreciated that we did not want to take too much time on pictures because we wanted to have time to enjoy the reception. I truly can't say enough on how wonderful our experience was working with Cindy and George. From the first meeting we had with them, they were so warm and sweet. They picked an amazing location for our casual setting that fit our personalities perfectly. (Not to mention the pictures were breath taking) On the wedding day they captured every last detail. Can't say enough wonderful things about Cindy & George at McCullough Photography. Planned a simple elopmenent in Carmel, California and could not have been happier with another photographer. They were always very prompt in responding to emails and provided great advice on my wedding location specific to my needs and wants. Very pleased with photography and their price was more more than reasonable for the photography service we received. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with McCullough photography. From our
engagement pictures, save the date cards, to our wedding day, custom website, and wedding album they
have completely exceted our expectations in everyway. They made everthing so easy eventhough we lived 4 hours away. They were always just a phone call or email away to answer any of our questions about our big day. They were so flexible with our hectic schedules and made every meeting with them so special. When it came to our photography package they were so reasonable and the packages were tailored to our every want and need. I love the fact that you are able to keep your wedding CD's! When it came to our big day they were at the wedding site early to check out the best locations to take the perfect pictures. They kept us on schedule to ensure that we were able to get every shot that I wanted. We had our proof in a timely manner and they printed us enlargements that turned out great. I was able to pick out every picture I wanted for our album and they emailed me the proofs of the album to ensure I loved everything. It looked beautiful. We are excited to finally see the finished product. I would highly recommend McCullough photography for any special occasion!!

George and Cindy were a pleasure to work with. We put them through the tests with having a last minute change of venue and they made everything work. Their connections with the community and other vendors were a great help. The website option is great, especially for those who weren't able to attend, giving them the ability to look at the photos and order any of their choosing. I highly recommend them for any of your photographic needs.

My husband and I were very pleased in working with Cindy and George for our wedding. They were very professional, easy to get a hold of, and always on time. We enjoyed the fact that both photographers were able to capture our ceremony and reception from many different angles. We are please with their pricing and timing in getting us our pictures back. The digital photography is amazing and they made everyone look beautiful. We highly recommend McCullough Photography for anyone who is getting married on the Monterey Penninsula, we could not have been happier!!!

Cindy and George did a wonderful job for both our engagement and wedding photos. I am a completely type-A bride who had a very specific vision of what I wanted with my wedding photos and Cindy and George did a great job of making my vision a reality. Cindy took the time to meet with me before the wedding and didn't even flinch when I handed her a 4-5 page checklist of photos I wanted to take and 13 pages of "inspiration photos." She didn't just listen to me, but she actually heard me. I have the delightful dilemma of agonizing over which photos to ultimately include in the album.

In addition to making my wedding photo dreams come true, Cindy and George were quite affordable and flexible. I had a Sunday brunch wedding, but I wanted to take all the formal photos in the evening, when the lighting is better, and they were nice enough to do a "split shift" working part of the day at the wedding, and then meeting us later for all the formal photos.

George and Cindy are a fantastic husband and wife team which allowed them to get shots from both the male and female perspective. They are very personable and easy to work with. The photos, even though we don't have all of them just yet, are incredible-the lighting, the location, the shots are beautiful. They were a pleasure to be around as people so we were never nervous or uncomfortable while having our photos taken. They were so accommodating- we had a smaller wedding and then a reception the following weekend in a different location and they were kind enough to pull several good photos to send to us so we could have a slideshow of our wedding to share with those at the reception despite how busy they were. It was really awesome. They captured the moments of our special day in a way that we will remember it forever.

Cindy and George were great to work with. They were very responsive and everything went smoothly. I was so pleased with the photos, they were beautiful! I would definitely choose McCullough Photography again and would recommend them for their lovely wedding photography services.

Cindy and George were just great! They made sure to capture every moment of our wedding day. We haven't gotten our pictures back quite yet but they did post a few on their website and they look very nice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Monterey area. We can't wait until we get to see all of the pictures!

A pleasure to work with

George and Cindy were a pleasure to work with from the very start. They were both very friendly and professional. We booked with them mid-last year for our engagement and wedding photography and at the time, were able to book both as part of a promo package, which was a plus and a bit of a cost saver for us.

We had our engagement session October 2017 at the Memory Gardens/Custom House Plaza/beach right off the side of Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey which was a beautiful location they recommended. If I recall, it was about a 2 or maybe 3-hour session and we were able to do an outfit change in the middle. This was the first time my husband and I have had professional photos taken of us and we're not ones to really take a lot of photos of ourselves so going into it we felt a bit awkward. George and Cindy were great in talking to us, suggesting poses and helping to make us feel a bit more comfortable. We had provided a few sample ideas of photos we wanted to try out and they took those into consideration during our session as well. They were able to capture close to 200 photos. One thing we didn't particularly care for was the blurred filter lens that was used to shoot some of the photos. They had asked if it was okay to use which we agreed to but as we went back through our photos later, we would have preferred the full clear shots then could have added that type of filter later if we wanted to with a little bit of photo editing. Fortunately, they had asked about it again on our wedding day, so we were able to request it not be used as much. Overall, we enjoyed our engagement session and were able to get to know them and get a few photos that we liked and could use for our Save-the-Dates. We had access to these photos in an online album on their website and transferred to Dropbox for us to download about 3 weeks later which was a quick turn-around.

Fast forward to this past September 2018 and our big day - again George and Cindy were great. George was the main camera for the day with Cindy also taking photos on a second camera from the side. Although there were many duplicate type shots, they did give a slightly different view or angle, so we didn't mind.

They arrived on time to our rental property in Pacific Grove and captured several pre-wedding photos with me, my bridal party and family before heading to the venue. Unfortunately, we had some issues with my groom's wedding party, which George and Cindy understood and worked with us to make the best of things.

One thing we loved for our wedding photos was an idea they had shared with us beforehand (and we would recommend to all couples). Try to get a full group shot of everyone immediately following the ceremony. Once everyone disperses, it'll be hard to get everyone together again. These were probably our favorite photos of the bunch as we loved seeing all of our guests joined with us on our special day!

You really don't believe how fast the day goes by and everything that happens throughout the event until the very end and the DJ is calling last dance. With over 1,400 photos we get to re-live and enjoy some very special moments that went by in a blink of an eye or we may have missed. It took a little over a month to get our photos back which again was a very quick turn-around time and worked great for us as we wanted to use some photos on our Thank You cards.

I didn't inquire on it and in no way were we expecting every single photo to be perfect with so that were taken and would have to go through, but I'm not sure how much photo editing (if any/if included) may have be done beforehand but we feel there are some of the more "formal" wedding shots that could probably use a touchup or some editing for color or lighting.

Overall, as we are still going through a lot of our photos, we see there is a great variety and looks like they were able to capture quite a few photos of us as well as all of our guests throughout the day whether they be direct photos or candid shots. We look forward to sharing these with our family and friends as well as looking back on them over the years to come. Thank you, George and Cindy, for being a part of our special day!
