The Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte was a beautiful venue for our Indian Wedding. We had a wonderful experience working with the all the hotel event coordinators and staff in planning our wedding. Thank you to the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte for hosting our wedding and making our experience so memorable. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our family and friends!

Everyone at our wedding had an absolute blast. The setting was perfect, the colors, the food, the service, etc. Sydney and Haley were SOOO helpful throughout the planning, and helping us with just about any and every detail! Sydney was there during the entire reception, which was really reassuring! Such a top notch venue- I would highly recommend this to any fellow Charlotteans! :)

Absolutely amazing wedding venue. The service and the food was top notch. Sydney Gorman is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with in the wedding industry. She cared for our wedding as if she was a family member. She is absolutely outstanding! Every single employee there was professional, they were kind, attentive, and so caring. We would never have an event anywhere else in uptown! They made our wedding day spectacular! The day after the wedding, Victor, who is over all housekeeping services helped us look for any little thing that we could save from our wedding. He even went through a few trash cans with my husband. He was so patient and took the time to go above and beyond even after our wedding. Just a fantastic person! Shaun, Who is over the parking team went above and beyond for us as well. They made sure that we got all of our stuff to our rooms for days and after the wedding he was so patient and helped us remove every single item from the hotel. It is very rare that you find an entire team who is phenomenal. And the Grand Bohemian Charlotte is right at the top of my list for any wedding or event!

The Grand Bohemian was a perfect place to have a wedding. Their facilities are beautiful, immaculate and service was wonderful. They were extremely professional, easy to work with, helpful to outside vendors that we hired and the food was fabulous! Outstanding place!

We are so happy we had our wedding and reception at the Grand Bohemian Charlotte. The experience from the initial consultation to the day of the wedding was great. Our wedding cake was also provided by the Grand Bohemian and it was beautiful, delicious and beyond our expectations. We had a stunning, top notch wedding and it was all thanks to the help of Celeste, Lauren and Haley!

My husband and I had an amazing micro wedding at the Grand Bohemian Charlotte on 9.4.20. With the hotel being brand new (opening August 2020), we were one of the first couples lucky enough to get married here. We feel very fortunate and are so thankful that our 2020 wedding plans ended up leading us to the Grand Bohemian! It was truly and unforgettable experience all around! Here are our thoughts for each category:
GB TEAM:
Lauren, Haley and the rest of the GB team were awesome! My countless questions, concerns & thoughts were always answered super quick and everyone was very helpful the day of the wedding too! They definitely helped alleviate any of the wedding stressfulness!
HOTEL SPACES & DECOR:
We had our First Look in the Bohemian Garden (ground level), our ceremony on the Queen Terrace (6th floor), followed by dinner in Buho (the hotel's rooftop bar). All three spaces are beautiful and fit our vision perfectly! Bold colors, artwork and floral decor everywhere! No detail is overlooked in the entire hotel. The guest rooms are decorated very boho chic with deep teals, purples & golds. The rooms make for beautiful getting ready & bridal shots! For romantic overnight stays, the Corner Suites are a must. Beautiful bathrooms, large tubs, pretty views & lots of space.
You can definitely save money on florals & decorations at this hotel. It really doesn't need too much since the hotel is already so well decorated!
FOOD:
All of our guests said the food was amazing. For our dinner, we did the Mac & Cheese Bar, Slider Bar, Honey Ham, etc. Everything was delicious! The food at the hotel's main restaurant, Mico, is also great too.
OVERALL:
If you are considering this venue for your wedding, or just for an overnight stay for a special occasion, we would highly recommend! Do not hesitate to reach out and explore your options! I'm so glad we did!

We had to move our original wedding date and venue due to covid. We were so lucky to find the Grand Bohemian. Lauren and the team were so great to work with and we had the best time at our reception! The food was amazing, the service was top notch, and everyone went above and beyond to ensure sure the evening went off without a hitch. Definitely recommend!

Words cannot express how amazing every aspect of The Grand Bohemian is. After needing to cancel our May 2020 wedding due to COVID-19, I started looking into alternate options for a reception venue since my experience with our first venue was not the best.
-insert Haley Sanger and the ENTIRE Grand Bohemian team. Yes, I mean every one of them y’all- the valet, the front desk, the restaurant servers, the housekeepers, and I’m sure many more positions I can’t think of right now. They are all phenomenal-
When we were faced with Covid 19 road blocks along the way, Haley and her team always brought some sort of solution. I called Haley my “yes queen” to my friends and family, because she didn’t take no for an answer! She adapted and adjusted, and made my Covid wedding even more amazing and special than I could’ve planned it without all of this corona virus mess.
I was the first grand bohemian Charlotte bride (fancy, I know 🤩💁‍♀️ ), but I felt so at ease knowing I was working with Haley and an entire events team who was seasoned in the wedding industry.
I just can’t thank everyone at The Grand Bohemian enough for making our day so perfect and special!
Oh, and the presidential suite is worth the splurge on your wedding weekend. You (and your significant other) deserve it!

We started working with Haley the summer of 2020 when we had to change our wedding venue after we were not able to have our wedding as planned due to COVID. The Grand Bohemian had not even opened yet in Charlotte and we were only able to see a portion of the hotel as construction was finishing. Haley was an absolute pleasure to meet and was so easy to work with to book our rescheduled wedding date. When it seemed COVID would still be an issue for our wedding, Haley was so understanding and willing to work with us to reschedule our wedding for a third time. Throughout the planning process, Haley was quick at responding to my emails and amazing to work with as we navigated the uncertainties of planning a wedding during COVID. A few months before our wedding, we started working with Sydney and Celeste who were also great to work with. We met with the team several times to do our tasting, show our parents the venue, and meet with our day-of coordinator. They were very flexible to meet with us and meet our schedules. The weekend of the wedding they were also present to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. Haley/Sydney/Celeste were absolutely amazing to work with and truly made our day the most amazing day ever.

In terms of the space, it was absolutely perfect. Since most of our guests were traveling from out of town, it was so convenient to have our wedding where most of our guests could stay and travel to from the airport. Everything was at the venue so it was so convenient to not have to arrange transportation. The rooms were beautiful and my suite was perfect to get ready in with my mothers and bridesmaids. The rooftop terrace is where we did a majority of our photos and having the city skyline and the murals made for beautiful photos. The ceremony was also on the rooftop terrace which was breathtaking. The tent was also great for keeping out the sun and wind the day of. Our guests only had to travel to another floor for the cocktail hour and reception which was very easy. The space was also gorgeous with artwork all around for our guests to look at and required minimal additional decor from us. The ballroom is also extremely elegant which made it very easy on us as we only really needed to bring centerpieces to complete the look. The chandeliers are stunning; we had different color lighting for our dinner and dancing; the room was very spacious for our guests but also did not look bare; the dance floor was in a perfect spot, and the staff set up the tables to look great. The food was also fantastic - many of our guests commented that it was one of the best meals they've had at a wedding. The cake was made by the pastry chef and we gave a few ideas of what we were looking for and it looked absolutely stunning. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better day or team to work with. Sydney and Haley were fantastic throughout the whole process. We booked the Grand Bohemian before they even opened to the public. Most of the furniture wasn't even in the hotel yet and we still fell in love with it. There are so many different event spaces for you to choose from so even though our ceremony and reception were at the same hotel, it didn't feel like it. Sydney and Haley went above and beyond, letting us tour the spaces 3+ times so that our vendors and family members could see the event spaces before the big day. We look forward to going back every year for our anniversary!
