Hotel Wedding Venues in Blowing Rock

We utilized the green park in for our wedding reception, and we could not have had a better experience. We worked extensively with Kerry Hines on the table layouts, meal service, and decoration planning, and she was consistently as polite and helpful as could be. Our reception was in the Chestnut Grille room, and it was simply stunning. It was a warm and intimate environment, perfect for us to celebrate with our friends. We had an excellent experience and cannot say enough kind things about this venue. I highly recommend them!

Chetola was the ideal location for our dream wedding. Accommodations are second to none. From the moment you enter the grounds, it's clear this resort is a special place, run by capable staff with a passion for hospitality. Meris in particular is wonderful, very knowledgeable and prepared for anything. The condos provide spacious, luxury accommodations for family and friends alike. During our time here we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, walks around the lake, and pickleball at the resort's courts. Meris and the team worked closely with all our vendors to ensure everything went perfectly on our wedding day. Even in the face of imminent rain - which thankfully held off - the Chetola staff was prepared with several contingency plans. Every detail was thought through, nothing was missed. You're in great hands here! We've heard nothing but praise in the weeks following our wedding from guests who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The only problem with Chetola: you may not want to leave!

We were extremely pleased with our daughter's reception at the Meadowbrook Inn, July 19, 2014. The events manager for our reception was professional, eager for the event to be just what we wanted, and ever present during the event supervising and responding to any needs or questions that arose. The setting was beautiful and the entire staff was pleasant and helpful, smiling and engaged. The food for the reception was way beyond our expectations, absolutely delicious, in fact. We used buffet style serving which went quickly. The food presentation was fresh and neat and very classy. We chose a less expensive menu and felt like we received the highest quality of food. There was plenty of food for our guests, and we appreciated the abundance.The only low mark is in the preplanning. I was able to meet with our coordinator several times which was great, but my emails were often not answered. I had much better contact through phone conversations.
