Sky Retreat is a 30-acre, all-season wedding venue located just one mile off the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Featuring an expansive banquet hall with views of the natural surroundings, this property features a picturesque setting for special occasions. Facilities and Capacity

At Sky Retreat, you can host an intimate gathering or share your big day with up to 200 guests. Before the celebration, there are two on-site dressing suites for you and your wedding party to prepare in. For your reception, you and your loved ones can dance the night away in the bright Grand Event Hall. The space features a wall of windows overlooking the long-range mountain view, a 40-foot-by-60-foot dance floor, a DJ area, and a catering kitchen. While showcasing nature, it also combines the elegant touch of high-vaulted ceilings and large crystal chandeliers. For an open-air cocktail hour, the expansive veranda and its grand fireplace can be used. Adjacent to the veranda is a scenic procession through the waterfall garden to the ceremony paver pad or grass lawn. Here, you can further enjoy the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains under the open sky. You are welcome to exchange vows outside on the infinity view paver pad or the ceremony green with the sweeping landscape behind you as you say “I do.”

The personable team at Sky Retreat is dedicated to supporting celebrations by offering an array of services. Sky Retreat tables and chairs are included in the rental fee for bookings made at this time, as well as their one time set up and take down. The venue is also pet-friendly, so you can bring along your four-legged friends to celebrate your special occasion. During your wedding stay, you and your guests can participate in a variety of on-site activities provided by V&B Experience adjacent to the property, such as hiking to the beautiful local waterfall, tubing/kayaking down the river, visiting the onsite petting farm, enjoying an onsite massage or private group yoga class, stargazing in this dark sky zone, roasting s'mores by a bonfire, and more. Outdoor grills, fire pits, and picnic areas allow you to take in panoramic views throughout your stay. When the festivities draw to a close, you and your loved ones can rest in the venue’s 14 log cabins. Depending on your preference, there are four different accommodation types to choose from. The Premium and Deluxe Cabins feature spacious interiors with a master bedroom, private bathroom, as well as a kitchen and dining area. For larger parties, the Waterfront Cabin contains four bedrooms and a full-sized kitchen with glass doors and porches overlooking the pond. Situated at the edge of the water, the one-room Compact Pond Cabins offer guests a one-of-a-kind glamping experience.
