Excellent, Entertaining, Enjoyable Experience

Adrienne DeMedici styled hair and makeup for three of us at my daughter’s wedding and did a wonderful job. We appreciated her humor and kindness as she worked on us in a very, very hot room. The bride wanted a magical, whimsical side braid. Very fun experience! Our hair and makeup looked pretty all day in heat, humidity, and rain.

Amazing and reasonably priced!

Adrienne was so great to work with! She was incredibly responsive during the booking process. Her information and pricing was straightforward and easy to understand. I did look up her business website in addition to the photos on various wedding service websites and they were stellar. She has some great experience and was so reasonably priced in comparison to other vendors I checked out. She included a free hair and makeup trial. Adrienne was super responsive to the feedback (only minor changes) about hair and makeup between trial and "the big day". She was flexible and accommodated our schedule and some last minute changes. She made everyone look amazing on our big day. I definitely recommend her for hair and makeup.

Adrienne was amazing! She answered my emails so promptly and even when I added a few things last minute she was so kind to me and adjusted no problem! She made me feel so at peace and worry-free on my wedding day as well as making me look and feel like the most beautiful bride.

Amazing and fun to work with!

Adrienne was amazing and so easy to work with. She did an amazing job on my makeup and drove all the way to Perry from Atlanta to do my makeup. She was so much fun to talk to and was like having another one of the girls there. Terra did the makeup for my mom and bridesmaids and did such an amazing job also! She nailed exactly what everyone wanted. Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience!

We got married on September 7, 2019. Adrienne and Iman showed up 20 minutes early for set up and worked so fast on all 14 of my girls. I was blown away by how fast they were able to work in 4.5 hours for my early wedding. All of our make up and hair kept the whole night for dancing and pictures. Thank you for a magical transformation for my family and friends. You made the getting ready part so special for all of us! I would highly recommend Adrienne and her team for your make up and hair needs.

Stunning work for bride on wedding day, super responsive, best experience!

Working with Adrienne for my wedding hair and makeup was incredible. She was immediately responsive to all my questions, fit in services for all my bridesmaids, and came to our site for no extra charge even though we were housed at an island beach house. Happy bride! Love Adrienne and her team at Envy Makeovers. Simple to book and affordable for any budget. My trial went perfect. NJ MUA Katherine came to my house, she looked at the pictures I had ready for her and got to work. Didn’t take long and came out perfect! Be prepared people, provide a picture of the look you want and they will give their expert suggestions what from the ‘look’ you want will work and you will be in love. Katherine came and did my makeup and hair for me and bridal party on the big day. She arrived early which put us ahead of schedule! Everyone's hair and makeup looked incredible! We all loved it and looked beautiful all night long! All the girls got false lashes.The application of the lashes were perfect and best part easy to remove at the end of the night. All of us received tons of compliments and I was called a movie star all night. Couldn’t have turned out better! I HIGHLY recommend Adrienne, ENVY makeovers for you events. Adrienne was delightful and pricing was amazing if you are trying to stay on a budget! She came to the venue early and was very understanding when I had to handle last minute items. She was very professional, kept the conversation going and made me feel very comfortable with her. At first I had a hairstyle selected but then I changed my mind and she was totally okay with the change. I requested a natural look and a little bit of glam and that is exactly what she did. My now husband was in love with how my hair and make up was done since I don't wear make up often. Adrienne also did my mother's hair and make up and my mom was in love with the end result. Adrienne is just amazing, she wont let you down! Overall price and quality were A++! I am very glad Adrienne did my hair ad make up for my wedding day!

Adrienne from ENVY makeovers did my sister’s wedding last November, and I was so happy with her work that I asked her if she was available for my wedding this year. She wasn’t, but Cassie was, and she assured me I was in good hands. She was right, because I couldn’t be happier with the makeup for my wedding day! Cassie came to our hotel early to set up, and she was prepared, professional, and so pleasant! She even gave a little pretend makeup to our flower girl so she didn’t feel left out. My wedding was July 26,2018 and Adrienne did my mothers, my sisters, and my hair and makeup. All of our hair and makeup looks were very different from each other. Adrienne was able to do all that we requested and the whole time she was super pleasant, fun, and easy to be around. She worked fast but didn't cut corners. She was better than I had even expected. My makeup and hair didn't run or fall down, and I danced all night. I would definitely book her again for any other major event I would have in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for more! My dream day was better than I hoped for. It was a hot June wedding and my makeup was flawless. Every girl looked like them but with an angel glow. It was perfect. Katherine did my hair and makeup for my trial for my engagement photos twice as the first one was canceled at the last minute.. I was very happy with the end result.. Then she did my wedding on Sep 8, 2017 for me and my bridal party .. She is AMAZING .. I didn't think I ever looked so beautiful and she made me look EXACTLY the way I envisioned.. Adrienne was so easy to work with - very responsive, accommodated all of my last-minute changes, and is great at what she does. All I did was show her some pictures of what I was looking for, and she made it happen. It was my wedding day so the happy tears were flowing, and my makeup and hair stayed put through it all. She also did makeup and hair for the other women in my family - none of whom she'd worked with before, all with very different complexions - and they all looked beautiful. Our flower girl also loved the "Elsa braid" she did for her. You can't beat the price for the quality you receive - and she travels! On top of all that, she's hilarious and fun to hang out with :)

Called Envy Makeovers for a birthday party in Central NJ. She's very quick to reply and I had Catherine as my hair and make up artist. She was amazing! Did all the girls hair and make up just how they wanted and she was quick with the hair dos. My make up and contouring was on point and I suggested little things here and there for extra glam and she was soo accommodating. I would recommend asking for Catherine if you're in the NJ/PA area. Plus pricing for hair and make up was very reasonable.

I used Adrienne (Envy Makeovers) for my wedding on 11/5/16. I had 10 girls to do for hair and makeup. She was affordable, the make up was flawless, and both hair/makeup stayed all night. All my bridesmaids and mother looked absolutely amazing! Everyone loved their hair too! During our planning stages she responded immediately which, was so refreshing. Adrienne is simply awesome! I had a boudoir shoot scheduled and it included professional hair and makeup. I had no clue who would be doing it beforehand. At the shoot location, she arrived on time and asked me how I wanted to look. She nailed the look! :D So while she was doing my hair, I asked her if she would be available to do wedding makeup for my wedding that was in a few weeks. She told me she needed to check her schedule and would let me know when she got back home that morning! She texted me just a couple hours later to let me know she was available and we proceeded with the booking! She is quick at responding to texts and emails. On my wedding day (October 22, 2016) she arrived 15 minutes early and did all of our makeup (6 people total). Everyone was super happy with their makeup! Thank you, Adrienne for everything! I will be recommending her to anyone looking for hair/makeup services!

Adrienne was great. She was quick to respond and very flexible. She met me at my house for my wedding make up trial {and dealt with Atlanta traffic}. She was great the day of. Had to make some schedule changes and she was fine with that, and even took all of my consecutive criticism. The owner Adrienne who is absolutely amazing did all the makeup for my wedding two weeks ago and all of my ladies looked BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed Adrienne she listened to my vision and made it happen on the ladies. I didnt want to take my make up off that night I was so pleased and knew I could not repeat her work. The prices are excellent and I will be returning to her for personal use and event and I recommend ENVY Makeovers to anyone I come across that needs Make Up.

I was referred to Envy Makeovers by a coworker of mine and I'm glad I listened. From the very beginning Adrienne was very prompt with communicating with me about wedding day and the services they provided. I admit I was confused on a lot of things but Adrienne make sure she explained what was needed of me on my wedding day to ensure a smooth day. My wedding was a little over a month ago and I could not be more pleased with the hair and makeup of myself and my 5 bridesmaids! Adrienne is very prompt with all email responses and is such a sweet and pleasant girl! She was more than willing to listen to my request and work with me. As someone who doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis, the natural make up she did for me was wonderful! Some of my girls wanted different styles and she was able to adjust and deliver:) she was able to manage the hair and makeup of all 6 of us with no problem, even though she originally was going to bring another girl (who unfortunately got sick!) and we were all pleased. For my wedding I contracted Adrienne for makeup and Mia for hair for myself, my 3 bridesmaids, and the moms. Both women did an AMAZING job and were so sweet to work with! I added people last minute, it wasn't a problem. I forgot to send pictures of hairstyles I liked, it wasn't a problem. My bridesmaids showed up to the venue half an hour late, it wasn't a problem. We were still ready well ahead of my timeline but we were never rushed. Adrienne was always extremely responsive throughout the planning process, my hair and makeup trial, and the wedding. She showed up on time, had all the equipment she needed, and did a great job. The moms never wear false eyelashes or a lot of makeup or anything but they were totally comfortable the whole time and everyone just loved how they looked. I can't stress enough how perfect our hair and makeup was! My MOH texted me when the pro photos came back and asked if she can retain Adrienne as her personal makeup artist haha :) So thank you Adrienne and Mia for helping to make my day totally perfect!!!

WOW! These girls know their work! The owner, Adrienne, was so prompt with her responses and answered every question I had to the fullest prior to the big day! The make up artist Candace, followed exactly what I requested, along with my girls (and there was 10 of them!). No one was unhappy. We felt natural, yet beautified! She was over the top sweet and her personality and understanding of what we wanted made things so nice!! Our hairstylists Eboni and Charita were amazing!! So friendly, fit right in with us crazy girls! They too listened to our wants and needs and worked with us until our hair was EXACTLY how we had envisioned it. Throughout the entire evening I was told how amazing my hair and makeup looked and that all of us girls looked great! Adrienne was very good from the very beginning! She worked with me and was patient when something came up and I couldn't pay the deposit right away. She always responded quickly whenever I had any questions or concerns. My makeup trial went awesome. She is fun to interact with while she works with you. She was on time for both my trial and the day of my wedding. All of my bridesmaids, as well as myself, were very pleased!! My makeup stayed on for my trial through an entire evening at a soccer game for my little sister and still looked great. I recently got married in San Francisco this past Sunday & had ENVY Makeovers do my hair and makeup services for me and my entire bridal party.

They were amazingggggg!!, I can't wait to get my pictures back, I truly felt like a beautiful enhanced version of myself!

I told Adrienne prior to the day of my wedding that I didn't want to look like an artificial bride, just a prettier version of me ! lol!

She listened to all of my concerns & had a great artist/stylist for me on my wedding day by the name of Klaudia, (if you're booking envy in Vegas ask for her!) Klaudia was so professional sweet kind & talented. She was able to squeeze in an extra bridesmaid who originally didn't book but decided she wanted to add services when she saw how great everyone else looked. It was no problem at all, and I was amazed at how quickly Klaudia worked with her skill !!

Adrienne was such an angel, so sweet & catering to me for the entire process, I was thrilled to find out they also have artists & stylists in other states, I look forward to hiring ENVY Makeovers again!!! If I could give 20 stars I would!!

Not only were the girls prompt and on time, but they also did amazing work and listened to everyone of the groups requests(there were about 7 of us)! I could not believe how amazing my makeup looked and the pictures turned out amazing because of that! They also made my hair look exactly the way I had wanted it. They also were very quick about getting everyone's hair and makeup done and we were all done an hour before the wedding so we had a little more time to relax! :) I was very nervous what to expect because I did not do a trial run before, but they honestly ended up doing amazing work and exceeded their expectations. THE OWNER: From start to finish, Adrienne was by far the EASIEST vendor for me to get a hold of. She responded immediatley to my emails/texts and was super helpful and understanding throughout the entire process.

BUDGET: You will NOT find anyone cheaper. Adrienne worked with me and I cant begin to explain how much that helped with our budget!

THE ARTIST: AMRA, from Chicago....was my hero. She made me look and feel like a million dollars. She came EARLY (our wedding was over 2 hours from Chicago) and was set up with her curling irons etc...heated up before the scheduled start time! My bridesmaids literally walked in the door, sat down and were transformed in no time! She knew exactly what shades to use, and her airbrush was perfect! I wanted big lashes for the BIG day and everyone LOVED them. Seriously, I can't begin to explain how wonderful of a job she did.

Adrienne was always super easy to communicate with - her email responses were amazingly fast. I worked with a member of her team on my big day, but Adrienne stayed connected by asking her team to send photos. Mia (who did my hair and makeup) showed up on time for my trial. Makeup was completed within the time frame I allotted, and my then fiance loved the make up!

On the wedding day, Mia had to do hair for two and makeup for three - before 9 am. We ran a few minutes late, but nothing that set us back for the rest of the day. I was still dressed and starting pictures on time.

I didn't have to provide anything for my hair and makeup - Mia came to us and had everything we could need or want. And let me tell you, as a makeup lover, I was envious of her supplies. I would work with Adrienne and her team again if I needed hair or makeup for a big night out or wanted to look nice for my husband.

I had ENVY Makeovers contracted to do my airbrush makeup services in California, and I was amazed at how gorgeous I looked, I almost cried but I didn't want to mess up my makeup! lol...Adrienne is the owner, and even with her busy schedule she would always make sure to respond to me immediately , she was a blessing to have found. I love love love the girls on her team as well , they're all so professional and just a bunch of sweet hearts, they handled my entire bridal party like we all mattered down to the last detail, we all looked amazing , I wish I could post pictures on here, I was very impressed with Adrienne, she is a young professional, and deserves all the credit for what an amazing business she is running. I am truly happy that I booked Adrienne to do my bridal party for my wedding! She was punctual and courteous. She did an amazing job on all of the ladies. I recently got married and used ENVY Makeover for my 9 bridesmaid's makeup. First of all, Adrienne is very responsive via email and text and the artist, Shandra was on-time and professional. I was on the fence as to whether I wanted my bridal party to have professional make-up because most of them do not wear make-up. While my make-up trial was completed 3 months in advance, I finally made the decision to book 2 weeks prior to my wedding date. While Adrienne was booked already for that day, she sent Shandra (I was a little nervous because I hadn't seen her work but I booked anyway). Shandra did an amazing job on my bridal party's make-up...they all looked glamorous. I also should add that my bridesmaid complexions varied from very light to dark and they looked good and she was able to vary their colors to compliment their skin tone while making them still look uniform. We even had guest asking who did their make-up. I would recommend ENVY Makeover and Shandra anyday!

I could not have imagined my makeup and hair to be more beautiful than it was for my wedding day!! (and my bridesmaids as well) Katherine from Envy makeovers did a phenominal job and my self and my girls' hair and makeup. I will admit when we first found Envy I was a little cautious because of all the negative reviews. My Maid of Honor had had her makeup done for her sisters wedding by Envy and had nothing but good reviews so we booked, after we booked I started looking at reviews... I was almost ready to cancel but then I just went with my gut, and I'm glad I did!!!! the price is right and the results are breath taking! I received compliments all night long! I loved Envy Makeovers! If you are on a budget they will work with you I got hair and airbrush makeup for under $200! Loved my hair and makeup artist, I loved the makeup, though the quality and tools the stylist used for my hair seemed more drug store then professional. So I would reccommend more makeup then hair. I hired envy for my bridal party hair and makeup. My makeup and hair looked stunning for my wedding day. That being said, I told Brittany and Adrienne exactly what I wanted changed from my trial to my wedding day and reiterated it the day of the wedding. The result was the exact look that I wanted.

My bridal party, however, was unimpressed, overall by their own hair and makeup. To be fair, I didn't hear any of them specify what look they wanted, and Envy can't read your mind. So if you go with Envy be EXPLICIT about what you want and all will be good. They still looked nice, but it wasn't what they had in mind.

The one thing I will say against Envy was that my moms foundation really didn't match her skin tone, so I went in and fixed it. But, overall, great job and my makeup looked fabulous in all the photos and lasted all day in the Georgian heat!

I found them online and contacted Adrienne right away to find out about them. She got back to me immediately and was very sweet. I thought their prices for hair and makeup were very reasonable. I kept in contact with Adrienne all the way up until my trail and wedding, she answered all of my question I had. Mia is who did my hair and makeup for my trial and I loved it, I thought that on my wedding day it would be perfect. I also explained to Adrienne that I had 8 people getting hair and makeup done and 1 person just getting makeup, also that some of my girls have thick hair, asking her if Mia would need someone to help her. She kept telling me no she should be fine. Well on the day of my wedding we were suppose to start pictures at 2pm and I did not finish getting my hair and makeup done until 415pm, that was the only down fall. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and I loved how mine came out but I just wish that we were done on time. Due to the fact of running late with that, we ran late on everything else too, which did upset me. Other then that I loved how it all came out and I would recommend them to other people, I would just tell them to make sure they make sure they have enough time for everything and if there is any doubt in your mind make sure you let her know.

I used Envy Makeovers for my wedding day. For my trial she had a family emergency and failed to let me know what was going on so we had to reschedule. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about a mishap for my wedding day but she showed up on time like she said she would. I ended up changing my look on my wedding day from what we decided during the trial so it was a one time shot to get it right and she did. I looked amazing in my pictures. The only complaint I would have is that my hair started to lose my bobby pins from my updo an hour into my reception so I had to take my hair down and just sweep it to the side.

Ok for budget and last minute

First, I will be up front, I booked hair and makeup for myself & 3 others for my wedding at somewhat last minute (just shy of a month out from my Sept 2024 wedding). If I hadn't waiting so long, I probably would have gone with another company. The company operates on what appears to be an independent contractor type situation, where Adrienne is your point of contact/face of the business but not necessarily the person who will be providing the direct services (wedding was in PA, she is GA based). She was pretty responsive in email, fit me in for what many in the industry would consider last minute, and pricing was much lower than other quotes I received.

Now as I mentioned, Adrienne is the only point of contact I had. That meant that I had zero contact information for the person actually coming and I got the feeling (after the artist arrived) that she didn't have my contact information either. Somewhat problematic as an issue did come up and I had no way of knowing about it (in this case, it was regarding the artist getting to our room at the hotel). Ok, not the end of the world but somewhat frustrating when you are dealing with a million other things in one day.

Next part is that the woman who came for hair and makeup seemed somewhat unprepared. She asked if I had sent any inspiration pictures to Adrienne (was not asked for this before hand) but thank fully, we were somewhat prepared. Now mind you, I've only had my hair and makeup professionally done a 3-4 times before this moment and this was my first time organizing something like this. I can't imagine what would happen for someone with even less experience than me. The other issue was that our artist seemed rather rushed. She mentioned that she had 5 different weddings she was working in the tri-state area that day. She also said that instead of parking and her assistant coming in, the person waited in the car (roughly 3 hours for our appointment). She also did not come with lashes which was mentioned they were suppose to bring per the contract (I was prepared for this and had lashes + glue on hand). One service I paid for was completed missed, which was makeup for one child. While annoying in retrospect, I paid a low rate and just consider it a sunk cost I wasn't willing to fight over but figured should mention. Overall, I think if artist wasn't in such a rush, it would have been a better experience as she was very nice personality wise and did a fairly good job. Only complaint I can say for my makeup itself was the lashes lifting a little part way through the evening. Hair was fine as I had a very simple style.

Long story short, I probably would not hire or recommend this particular company if you are in the PA/NJ/NY area. If you do (as mentioned, the pricing was very low compared to other quotes), just maybe learn from some of my missteps to be better prepared.

Very unfortunate. Details below if interested in the story:

After booking with Adrienne the communication was not optimal. Her schedule is jammed pack making it challenging to get on a phone call. She is responsive via text and email, however some details simply require a phone call.

Adrienne requested that responding to email was best during her busy period, so I obliged in corresponding in the requested method to see if we could find a solution to a question that I had.

I found that afterwards, I was responded to in a hasty manner where a tone had been applied from my email that was objectively neutral.

I suspected this might happen.

Adrienne's email accused me of not respecting her profession, harassment, insult accusing me of ill planning that justified her cancellation of our booking 2 days before my wedding. She sent back the deposit without conversation. We were unable to work things out before this determination was made. One sided.

I am sure this is a blessing in disguise. However it is an inconvenience and would like others to be aware of this potential outcome in interaction.

I am sure that Adrienne has amazing talents due to her bookings. In fact, she was a pleasure to speak with over the phone when we first engaged in booking. I appreciated her accommodations in working with a bride on a budget as I am a high school teacher. I work with many personalities daily and strive to provide the upmost respect to my students and that same respect is also shared with all individuals that interact with.

Life is challenging, there is no reason to cause additional undue stress. Life is short and we hope to evolve. I hope that this feedback helps Adrienne to reflect so that her business can grow and blossom as it deserves, without misunderstanding clients and making false accusations and causing unnecessary stress.

A conversation with an open heart and patience would have been the remedy in this situation.

BRIDES BEWARE! I used envy makeovers for my wedding in Allentown, PA. Our make up artist, Katherine, was amazing. Great personality, great make up. She was a free-lance make up artist from Philly that gets clients through Envy. However, the boss of Envy Makeovers, Adrienne, was 100% unprofessional and completly rude. She should not be a businesses owner. She basically stole my maid of honor's money and sent her very rude emails. I asked for a quote for 4 ladies, she let me know the price and sent me a contract. I then sent her an email back and said okay I'd like to go ahead schedule for 3 ladies. (She already had my credit card on file from my trial). Adrienne REFUSED to let me only do 3 ladies instead of 4. She said the contract had "already been emailed to me". I rebuttled by saying that it was not a legally binding contract because I had not signed it yet and only wanted pricing info at first. Still, she refused and was very ignorant to me. I very politely asked her to please be professional and not be rude to me, as I am just a concerned customer. Her response was some irrelevent rude comments about my maid of honor. Having no energy or time to take her to court, I just paid for the extra bridesmaid. The money wasn't the issue to me. The issue is that she said some nasty things to us, especially my MOH, and she is supposed to be a professional business manager, yet she's getting over on people. I am not the only person she's done wrong to! She also would not allow me to get the contact info for my make up artist who was driving all the way from Philly to Allentown and i wanted her to be able to call/text me if she ran into traffic or something. Of course Adrienne was rude about that too. NO bride deserves to go through such stress on and near her big day. Please use caution before you use this company.

Do not use this Company! Unprofessional and terrible customer service. I signed a contract, which I do not have possession of in my email and have asked them to send it to me 3 times now. I keep being told to search my email for the contract. I have done so and explained I do not have it! I submitted my deposit for myself and 5 others. The trial was not good to put it nicely. My face was orange, my blush was literally a streak on my cheek, not blended, the false lashes she put on me were totally different lengths on each eye. Adrienne, the owner, who was not even at the trial... claims i did not prepare my face properly. Um, I washed my face and moisturized and had nothing else on my face. My hair looked NOTHING like the pictures and was a complete joke. Needless to say I am very upset and now scrambling to find a hair and make up artist 3 weeks before my wedding. I understand they are keeping my deposit that was for me, the bride, but they refuse to refund the 5 other deposits, none of which had trials. She keeps repeating that I signed a contract and basically I am out of luck and a lot of money. The eyeshadow was the only thing that actually looked good. The lack of customer service is appalling, on top of the fact that they have employees that don't seem to know what they are doing. DO NOT USE this company!

I am writing in hopes that no one else will have to deal with this on their wedding day. After sending emails back and forth regarding airbrush makeup services to envy makeovers, I was sent a regular traditional makeup artists to do our makeup on the day of my wedding. Unfortunately when I tried to contact the owner who handles all contracts and appointments for makeup artist around the US, I was only told that there was a misunderstanding. Instead of ending up with airbrush application, I received traditional makeup that was thick and not what I requested. It was a complete scam and it is upsetting on how things were handled.

Please save your money and find someone else....

Ruined my best friend's day! Horrible company! Beware! We had 15 people to get ready the day of the wedding both hair and makeup. All money was requested in advance and paid. The owner Adrian email the night before the wedding changing the time to 6 a.m. as she was no longer sending three people for styling just too. She then refused to refund any money Even though three flower girls hairs or unable to be done and no eyelashes were brought her contract nor was the air brush.

Envy Makeovers was not able to meet our deadlines or give us the hair styles we requested (and did not receive what was requested) so that the photography could take place before the wedding. I (the bride) had a trial hair/makeup appointment and the person who did that was not the same stylist who came to provide hair/makeup services for the wedding. I provided a picture of the way my hair was styled at the trial and the resulting styling was NOTHING like what I requestedd. The maid of honor also requested a style with a braid incorporated into her hair. There was NO braid. Even though we were assured that each service would take 30 minutes, getting everyone's hair done too so much longer than expected. Everyone had a hair style they did not like and felt like they couldn't address that because of the time constraints. I contacted the owner and she was so unprofessional, talked over me, interrupted, monopolized the conversation to the point I could not even address the issues with her. I definitely would NOT use this service again.

Professionalism is just as important as quality.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Adrienne DeMedici.

Our wedding makeup and hair artist, Adrienne DeMedici, cancelled three days before our wedding due to a family emergency. Emergencies happen and we were completely understanding of that. What we were not prepared for was the complete lack of professionalism and courtesy that followed.

Because this cancellation left us in a very difficult position just days before our wedding, we politely asked for two reasonable things that could have helped us recover from the situation:

1. Notes or guidance from the trial run so another artist could replicate the style.
2. A referral to another professional who might be available on such short notice.

Both of these are extremely standard professional courtesies in the wedding industry when a vendor cancels at the last minute.

Instead of offering any help, Adrienne DeMedici responded rudely and dismissively, refusing to provide assistance of any kind. There was no effort to help us salvage the situation, no attempt to connect us with other artists, and no willingness to even share notes from the trial.

Cancelling three days before a wedding already puts a bride in a stressful and vulnerable position. Responding with hostility and refusing even the smallest amount of professional support made an already difficult situation significantly worse.

Worst makeup service ever!

The owner is hard to work unaccomodating, paid for airbrush and didn't receive it. Would barely communicate with the bride when we needed it, sent 2 different artists and didn't let the bride know until the morning of her wedding. The makeup wasn't blended, she doesn't listen to what the bride actually wants and won't use airbrush at all even during the trial. I hope no bride has to experience using this company because you regret every second.

*****BEWARE**** I chose Envy Makeovers for my bridal hair and makeup, mostly due to the attractiveness of the price. This turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my wedding, and caused me to be almost 2 hours late to my wedding.
I sent a picture to Adrienne with what I wanted my hair to look like for my big day, and she assured me that it could be done by her employee. Unfortunately, what I received was a complete mess and even Adrienne agreed that her employee did not get it right. It was bad enough that I literally broke down crying mere hours before my wedding, and my sister, who has no experience with hair, ended up having to do my hair for the ceremony.
On top of this, I was assured that hair and makeup would be completed for my wedding party by 4pm, as we had to be at the venue by 4:30 for pre-wedding photos. They didn't even start my makeover until 4pm, and we didn't end up leaving for the venue until well after 6pm (which is when my ceremony was supposed to start). This caused our wedding to start more than an hour and a half late, all do to the incompetency of her employees. In the end, none of the 4 bridesmaids were happy with their hair, and even though they were supposed to all be the same style they ended up completely different. Apparently the hair stylist will literally just do whatever she feels like, and I guarantee that it will NOT be what you pictured or what you tell Adrienne you want.
I communicated my grievances to Adrienne, and let her know that her employees ended up costing me and my husband hundreds of dollars due to missed time at the venue and missed pre-wedding photography. Her best offer was a credit for future hair and makeup by her company, which I wouldn't even dream of doing business with in the future. Please book your hair and makeup with the assumption that you're going to get what you pay for--even though they're priced relatively low, you're NOT going to get what you ask for.

Awful experience, and then owner lies about what happened

Don't do it. I was promised a hair and makeup trial with the same stylist that I would have on my wedding day. This was one of the first questions I asked, and I was assured this would be the case. I agreed to have and pay for a trial, based on the condition that I would be working with the same stylist on my wedding day.
After having and paying for the trial, the contract was sent to me with the wrong date. Adrienne had confused me with another bride that she was working with, and it turns out that the stylist was not going to be available on my wedding day. It was an honest mistake, which was not an issue until I realized that I was not going to be offered an acceptable solution. Adrienne's solution was to offer to come from Atlanta on my wedding day to do my hair and my makeup, but she would not be able to provide me with a trial. I told her that was not acceptable, and asked what the next step was. She could have refunded the money I paid for the "trial," or offered to waive the trial fee with another stylist that would be available on my wedding day. When I contacted her about a refund, she refused. The stylist that did my hair and makeup (Samaria), was lovely, easy to work with and did a wonderful job, but the fact that business owner cares little about customer satisfaction, unfortunately overshadows everything else.

Adrienne, Your response to my review is an absolute lie. My trial was on 4/6, and I tried to sign the contract a few days later on 4/10, which is when the error in booking was discovered. Stating that it took me months to get back to you after my trial is pure fiction, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I understand that people make mistakes, but when you cannot offer what you promised (the same stylist for trial and day of), you should rectify the issue by refunding me for the trial that I never would have gotten if I knew that I could not have the same stylist on the day of. You offering to fly in the day of my wedding was not an appropriate solution, as this still did not give me what I wanted and what was promised by you, which was a trial and day of hair and make-up with the same stylist. You also do not mention that even though this was your mistake, you changed the amount of deposit needed from me because you were having to fly to Virginia from Georgia. Penalizing me, because of your mistake. Mentioning that I had not yet booked hair and make-up for my wedding is irrelevant. You knew the date of my wedding when you sent the stylist (that was not available), that was not a secret. Of course I hadn't booked, as I hadn't even had the trial until April. Our agreement, and what we talked about was that you would send a stylist for the trial that was available the same day as my wedding. The appropriate thing to do would have been to refund me the trial money because you could not deliver what we discussed, but you were too petty to do that, and instead chose to lie about what really happened to try and justify your poor behavior and irresponsibility as a business owner.

As stated she profusely apologized as have I, there was a wreck the route she was coming from, she made it to you as quickly as she possibly could, we cannot control traffic incidents, she left 30min early in order to get to you, however traffic was still backed up. Again apologies however it was out of our control, she also stated she performed additional services which you were not charged for (mom's lashes) in order to help make up for her being late.

I had my makeup done by mia which she did an okay job HOWEVER She wanted to take a before and after pic and I told her that I was uncomfortable with it and she said the pictures would turn out fine. I find my before picture in her instagram and she took the worst possible picture with the worst possible angle. I sent her an email nicely asking if she would take it down and she refused. Adrienne was really nasty to me and unprofessional and basically said that mia can do what she want. Part of having business is having trust with your clients. So I advise not to work with them, they're really nice when they want your business but once they take your money if anything goes wrong then they're the worst to deal with.

Please stop lying. I saw the picture 3 months later and that is because I decided to show one of my friends her work. That's when I saw my picture and I emailed her VERY nicely. I tried asking you MULTIPLE times to have it removed and you disregarded me. And to show of how much of a liar she is, my picture is still up on Mias IG account. If you knew how to treat your clients, you wouldn't be seeing all these complaints from people.

My wedding date is in July of 2016. I have only given glowing recommendations on wedding wire for the vendors used to date. I hate being negative, but I feel obligated to warn other brides about this business. Avoid it at all costs!!! My experience was awful!!! I scheduld my trial hair and make up run with Envy and the young lady arrived on time. She was pleasant and sweet. So, it started out just fine! However, I ended up looking the exact opposite of everything I asked for and discussed with the service provider.. Honestly, I looked downright sickly!!! As far as make up, I wanted something natural, soft and romantic. I showed her my dress..it is romantic, flowy with appliquéd flowers. I have light hair, light skin, and light eyes. I ended up with really dark matte lips, black liner, overly done lashes, etc. As far as hair, I just wanted to all pulled straight back (no part) with no pieces hanging down. We even looked at a picture. Is that what I got? No! Instead it was parted with huge tendrels hanging the front. I wanted my hair to have some height, like the photograph, instead it is just poofy on the sides. When I told her that I was not happy because the hair and make up did not turn out anyhting like what we discussed, she just said she had to go to her next appointment and left!!!There was no trying to make it right...just out the door!! I will say that the back of the hair looked nice, until it started to fall about 30 minutes after she left.

I wrote the owner for a refund of the$150. She said I "looked beautiful" and would not give me a refund. She may have thought I looked beautiful, but I looked nothing like what I wanted or what we discussed!!!! Needless to say, I will not be using Envy for my wedding!! Glad I learned the lesson now--cannot imagine my 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 2 sisters..all ending up unhappy!!!

I hired Adrienne to do my hair and make up for my wedding. She responded quickly and at first I was very pleased with her. She drove from ATL to Savannah to do my trial run. She brought her friend along to do my hair. My trial run went great and I was looking forward to my wedding day. The morning of my wedding became my WORST nightmare!! Two days before my wedding I received and email saying she broke her hand so she was sending a replacement. She made it seem as though she had worked with this replacement before by the way she sounded so confident in this replacement but come to find out it was the only person in all of savannah she could find on google. She informed me everything was going to be fine but when I got to the location with my bridemaids and other wedding party, her replacement informed me she didn't do airbrush makeup which is what I paid a deposit for. I showed her what I wanted for my hair and she tried three times to do it and finally told me she wasn't comfortable doing my hair. When I tried to get in touch with Adrienne, she was only available through text message. She kept forwarding my call to vm because come to find out she was in NJ for a funeral. She told the replacement she would be the point of contact so she refused to give the replacement my contact info. As the point of contact, Adrienne was not available when I needed her. The only thing she said was she would take $100 off my total. Well in the end, I ended up at a local salon who by the grace of god were able to work us in. My mom and 2 flower girls went to another salon and my wedding ended up starting 30 minutes late. She refused to discuss returning the $377 deposit I gave her so I had to go through my bank and file a claim since I never ended up receiving services from her company. I would not recommend her to anyone!!!

Don't book her unless you want to be ugly and late for your event! Her staff promised to have everything done by a certain time, but missed the deadline by more than 2 hours. I sent a sample of what I wanted my hair to look like, but they chose to just do whatever they wanted. The owner does not care at all to make things right. Terrible business.

I contacted Envy Makeovers on 9/8/13 to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, to see if I liked the artist’s style to possibly use the company for my 6/7/14 wedding. I explained to the booking agent, Adrienne, that I live in Nashville and my engagement photos would be here but my wedding would be in the mountains, an hour and a half from Nashville. I gave her the addresses of the engagement session and the wedding venue asked her flat out – and I have emails to prove it – if the price of $150 would be the same for both sessions and she said yes, TRAVEL IS INCLUDED IN THE $150 PRICE. I booked Envy Makeovers for my engagement photos on 10/20/13. The quality of service was good.

On 10/22/13, I paid a $50 deposit to book the same artist and reserve my June wedding date in her calendar. Only after paying the $50 deposit was I then informed by Adrienne that the artist required an extra $50 for travel. I sent an email back to Adrienne – again, I have all of these emails to prove these interactions – showing in quotes what she had told me on 9/8/13 about the travel being included in the $150. She said she didn’t realize it was so far away. Either she didn’t read my emails clearly or she doesn’t communicate to her artists.

She told me she could comp me another makeup trial with an artist in the area of the wedding venue or I could get my money back. I told her I’d like to go with the complimentary trial with another artist (it was already the end of October and every other makeup artist I’d contacted were booked full for my date in June). Adrienne told me she was traveling today and she would get back to me with an artist and pick a date but she never did.

The last email I got from Adrienne was on 10/24/13. I have continued to contact her requesting my $50 refunded. I have not even gotten a reply email.

Do not hire this company. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I'm STILL going through, four months AFTER my wedding :(

Completely disappointed with the professionalism of Adrienne.
It all started when I asked her to send photos of ideas to the hair stylist she provided me for my hair trial. She received the photos and stated she would send them to the hair stylist.
On the day of my trial the hair stylist showed up unprepared due to the fact that no pictures were ever sent to her from Adrienne.
Next came my wedding. Again, contacting Adrienne to not only add more bridesmaids onto the contract for both hair and makeup (several months before my wedding) and asking for an updated time frame for the wedding day which she confirmed 10am start time.
About 2 weeks before my wedding I sent Adrienne more photos for the hair stylist. Explained I needed them to be sent so stylist was prepared. Was assured they would be.
On the day of my wedding not only were the stylists over an hour late (they showed me an email from Adrienne stating start time was changed to 11am without my consent) but Adrienne also never sent the pictures of what we were requesting.
Adrienne refused to give me the girls contact info after I requested it stating that the client can't have direct contact with the stylists.
On my wedding day when the stylists were late I only had adrienne's email address to turn to. After emailing her several times she stated that she was on a wedding herself that day and would get ahold of the stylists for me.
Once the stylists showed, they stated that they asked Adrienne for my cell phone number and Adrienne refused to give them my contact info so they could call me to tell me they were on their way.
Extremely dissatisfied with the company. Especially Adrienne. I would not recommend using this company.

I haven't gotten married yet but I just did a trial with an artist that Adrienne sent to my home. I wish I kept my money and did my trial at the mall, it was that bad! For starters Arielle was 30 minutes late, Adrienne said she was confused by my address (I was unaware that numbers and street signs were so difficult to read). Secondly the first application of makeup was way too light for my complexion, I looked like a ghost and she didn't notice until I made a remark about it, she also didn't fully cover my hyperpigmentation. She said she didn't have the makeup she needed to fully cover my imperfections. Lastly, the makeup that was used, made me breakout. In a nutshell, I was not satisfied with my trial so, I will not be booking this company for my wedding. Ladies please don't waste your money or time, you won't get either back.

I contacted Adrienne from Envy Makeovers LLC in July of 2014 for by October 2014 wedding. We spoke on the phone about the location, date, time and services needed. I sent her the deposit via PayPal and also listed the specifics we discussed on the invoice. Adrienne even set up a trial because it is free when a deposit is placed. Needless to say, I assumed that everything concerning the wedding stylist was handled. Fast-forward to the week of my wedding and my wedding planner is unable to get in contact with Adrienne. When Adrienne does get back to my wedding planner it is to say that she doesn’t have a stylist available on my wedding day. However, she would find someone and get back to us. (I saw the “casting call” for my wedding on Model Mayhem.) When Adrienne called back to say that she had found someone, I was elated. (Eventhough, she wouldn’t disclose the person’s name or phone number.) On the day of my wedding, Adrienne TEXTED my wedding planner to say that the stylist had an emergency and couldn’t make it. As you can imagine, this sent my wedding into a tailspin of epic proportions. The timeline was completely off. My cocktail hour was more like cocktail minutes, I had to pay extra for the limo and the string trio, I missed out on picture time. (I won’t continue because if you are planning a wedding then you know what happens.)

To make matters worse, Adrienne TEXTED me to tell me that I would be receiving a refund and to have a good day. She forgot the apology but, I’ll settle for the refund that I have yet to receive 264 days later. I have tried to contact Adrienne via phone, email, text and Facebook. She has yet to respond to me in any way shape or form. Every time I call, she sends the phone to voicemail.

Don't trust Adrienne. She might be less expensive then other people. But you get what you pay for. Do you want your wedding day ruined? If anything, go on Model Mayhem yourself and find a stylist or makeup artist.

NO SHOW!!!!! We woke up for a 6AM hair and make up home appointment and nobody showed up! I tried calling and emailing the owner, and she did not respond until emailing 11AM- she was just waking up! Now she doesn't want to give me a refund of my $80 deposit- she wants to give me a credit for future services! I would not trust her on one of the most important days in my life! Nobody shows up, and the owner doesn't care! My advice is choose someone reliable and forget Envy Makeover!

DO NOT sign a contract with this company, she would make every thing sound so good but its all the oposite, the use the same brushes, cheap products, old tools, doble deep, they burn my hair behind ears and shoulder.she kept droping everything cause the arist was on the phone, do not waste ur money with this company u would be better of doing it ur self, i wish i have done it my self, but covenced me with the smoth talk, big regreat
