Formal Faces - On Location Hair & Makeup for Weddings

Booking a hair and makeup vendor for my wedding was the most difficult task of the planning process for me. I spent hours upon hours researching, and every single time, I circled back to Formal Faces. The reviews, quality of service, and client satisfaction that I came across were like no other. After working with Formal Faces, I understood why so many have commended their work - I am proud to do the same.

I worked with Heidi and Abby S. on my wedding day. Heidi was my Bridal Image Consultant, and Abby S. glammed a few of my Bridesmaids, Nanna, and Flower Girl. At my trial, Heidi took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered her expertise, and we discussed options. I was torn between two hairstyles, but Heidi blended the two styles seamlessly to capture my vision. She made sure that I was happy with my look and was respectful of any changes that I wanted.

Abby S. was also a delight to have. My girls and I absolutely adored her and Heidi. They both captured everything my girls wanted for their looks. Honestly, I thought that Abby and Heidi did a better job than the Pinterest hairstyles my girls showed them. They are both extremely talented and professional. Heidi and Abby provided excellent customer service. I could not have asked for two BICs for my wedding day.

Lastly, I cannot end this review without giving remarks on the owner, Jennifer. Throughout the process, she answered all of my questions, in a timely manner, and made sure that I was well-informed of each step of the process. It was a pleasure to work with her and the Formal Faces team.

If you're considering working with Formal Faces, I highly recommend them! After being a FF bride, I definitely understand why they've won the "Best of Weddings" award for a decade.

I could not say enough good things about Bethany, my lead bridal consultant, her team, and the Formal Faces company! I have never felt more beautiful in my life and it was all because of her! At my first appointment, Bethany was so welcoming and bubbly and I knew instantly I liked her! She really  listened to what I liked/what I didn't like regarding makeup and hair and she was very flexible if I asked her to add or remove makeup. She is so kind and was very easy to talk to during the trail and on my actual wedding day. She did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and mother also! I WISH I could recreate how Bethany did my makeup because I was in love with it. She and her team are extremely talented and I'll forever be grateful for her! 

I went with Formal Faces for my wedding hair & makeup because they came recommended through my research, and they offered reasonable pricing including travel to my venue for the morning-of. I was assigned Rianna as my bridal consultant. While I was very happy with my trial, there were a few tweaks I wanted for the big day, and Rianna delivered! She listened to what I wanted and you could tell she cared about getting it right. I was so happy with my final look! My makeup was beautiful, and my hair was perfect. Both Rianna and Ali were fun, personable, and delivered on gorgeous looks for everyone in my party. Thank you for making me and my girls feel gorgeous!

Rianna did an incredible job with my hair and makeup for my wedding! I only had three people total getting hair and makeup done that day but her time management was perfect. On top of that she made everyone feel super special as soon as they sat in her chair! She helped make my wedding day super relaxed and everyone looked beautiful. Cannot recommend her enough!!!

I cannot recommend formal faces enough! Hollyn and Delaney did the hair and makeup for myself and bridesmaids for my wedding, and they were AMAZING. They listened to exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life perfectly. My hair and makeup stayed flawless all day and night, through happy tears, dancing, and everything in between!

In a competitive wedding market, FORMAL FACES stood out as THE BEST vendor choice for my daughter's May wedding! They are professional, organized, on-time, creative, caring and truly made each member of the bridal party feel confident, special and beautiful. We had 15 women getting both H&MU. The team consisted of Heidi, Hollyn, Delaney, and Michele. They handled a variety of skin tones, hair lengths and thicknesses, special requests and touch ups. The H&MU began early and all the women looked flawless late into the evening! Heidi, in particular, was amazing and took wonderful care of our Bride. She even went above and beyond and helped place and secure the veil on my daughter! Connecting with the H&MU person is crucial for any Bride and Heidi met with my daughter a few months before the wedding and did a full trial complete with headpiece and veil. That connection and trust made for a seamless morning for the Bride and a relaxing, almost spa-like, atmosphere for all! Formal Faces is also very cost efficient. All the bridesmaids, mother of bride and mother of groom looked stunning!! Each young lady was give their own lip gloss, lipstick and buffer for touchups. I would hire Formal Faces again and highly recommend their team!

Lemme just say, this was worth every penny! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and that is all thanks to Emily!! She was the kindest person I have ever met and she made me feel comfortable from day 1. She took her time with my HAMU trial, listened to what I did and didn't want and somehow made it look even better on my wedding day!

I am so happy that I chose Formal Faces for my wedding day! Delaney was incredible; I’ve never felt more beautiful, and she was flexible when I changed my mind on my hairstyle last minute. Sara and Hollyn did an amazing job on my girls as well! Timeline was one of my biggest concerns when choosing a vendor, because there were 11 of us that needed to be ready within 4.5 hours. Delaney sent me the exact timeline months in advance which calmed my nerves; they were already set up at the venue when we arrived, and we ended up being done a little bit early! The touch up kit was super helpful as well. My girls and I couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing job the Formal Faces team did. Highly highly recommend!!
