Formal Faces - On Location Hair & Makeup for Weddings

Booking a hair and makeup vendor for my wedding was the most difficult task of the planning process for me. I spent hours upon hours researching, and every single time, I circled back to Formal Faces. The reviews, quality of service, and client satisfaction that I came across were like no other. After working with Formal Faces, I understood why so many have commended their work - I am proud to do the same.

I worked with Heidi and Abby S. on my wedding day. Heidi was my Bridal Image Consultant, and Abby S. glammed a few of my Bridesmaids, Nanna, and Flower Girl. At my trial, Heidi took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered her expertise, and we discussed options. I was torn between two hairstyles, but Heidi blended the two styles seamlessly to capture my vision. She made sure that I was happy with my look and was respectful of any changes that I wanted.

Abby S. was also a delight to have. My girls and I absolutely adored her and Heidi. They both captured everything my girls wanted for their looks. Honestly, I thought that Abby and Heidi did a better job than the Pinterest hairstyles my girls showed them. They are both extremely talented and professional. Heidi and Abby provided excellent customer service. I could not have asked for two BICs for my wedding day.

Lastly, I cannot end this review without giving remarks on the owner, Jennifer. Throughout the process, she answered all of my questions, in a timely manner, and made sure that I was well-informed of each step of the process. It was a pleasure to work with her and the Formal Faces team.

If you're considering working with Formal Faces, I highly recommend them! After being a FF bride, I definitely understand why they've won the "Best of Weddings" award for a decade.

Rianna was incredible! She did both my wedding hair and makeup, and I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. From the trial to the wedding day itself, she was professional, organized, and truly listened to what I wanted. My hair and makeup looked flawless all day and night, even through photos, dancing, and happy tears. She created a look that felt like the best version of myself—elegant, timeless, and exactly what I had envisioned. She also helped create such a calm and fun atmosphere while getting ready, which made the morning so much more enjoyable.

Lemme just say, this was worth every penny! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and that is all thanks to Emily!! She was the kindest person I have ever met and she made me feel comfortable from day 1. She took her time with my HAMU trial, listened to what I did and didn't want and somehow made it look even better on my wedding day!

I am so happy that I chose Formal Faces for my wedding day! Delaney was incredible; I’ve never felt more beautiful, and she was flexible when I changed my mind on my hairstyle last minute. Sara and Hollyn did an amazing job on my girls as well! Timeline was one of my biggest concerns when choosing a vendor, because there were 11 of us that needed to be ready within 4.5 hours. Delaney sent me the exact timeline months in advance which calmed my nerves; they were already set up at the venue when we arrived, and we ended up being done a little bit early! The touch up kit was super helpful as well. My girls and I couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing job the Formal Faces team did. Highly highly recommend!!

Booking Formal Faces was one of the best choices I made for my wedding! From the beginning, the professionalism was top tier. They were clear with terms before booking, and delivered everything and more that was promised! Emily and Ali exceeded my expectations. My trial with Emily was fun and also extremely reassuring for my big day, and I woke up on wedding morning with absolutely zero nerves about my hair and makeup. All my bridesmaids, my mom, and my MIL were all extremely satisfied as well. I would book them 1000x again!!

My entire experience from start to finish with Formal Faces was incredible! Jennifer is very easy to communicate with as far as booking and making any changes. Rianna and Heidi were my two HMUA are they were AMAZING! Rianna did my bridal hair and makeup and wow, just WOW! From the trial to the day of, she listened to any concerns and really took in all the details I was hoping to have in my bridal look and created this with perfection! I nearly cried both after the trial and wedding day when I saw myself. She really made me feel like the most beautiful bride! Rianna is so incredibly talented and such a kind soul. You won’t regret working with Formal Faces!

We used Formal Faces for our 10/24/25 wedding, and we had the pleasure of working with Heidi and Hollyn. The morning of the wedding, they did the hair and makeup of myself, 4 bridesmaids, and our two moms - and everyone LOVED their final looks. Heidi and Hollyn managed the time well, and the morning went by very smoothly. I did a trial with Heidi, and she took careful notes about products/placement/preferences, so we were able to recreate the look and adjust it as needed on the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Formal Faces if you are looking for smooth and professional HAMU for your wedding!

Rianna made me feel so beautiful, I'm not sure I'll ever feel more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. She was so wonderful, calm, and made me feel so at ease. She is truly so talented. Emily and Michelle were also amazing. I couldn't recommend formal faces enough if you're in the ATL area.

I could never imagine anyone choosing Formal faces and ever being upset or unhappy because they are so talented, kind, professional, easy going and just SO good at what they do. Seeing my results, their day of logistics, set up. and my 10 bridesmaids' different hair and makeup with Formal faces on my wedding day was a DREAM The quality for the hair stays for the entire day and so does the makeup. That was one thing I was looking for when searching people's pictures is what does the bride and bridesmaid look like by the end of the day/wedding/ party etc - does the makeup still glam or stay on my face, is the hair still curly by the end of the night or is the hair still in the up do. I can confidently say my hair was perfect and so was my makeup throughout the entire day. The girls are so nice and professional. I had 10 bridesmaids and some live for the makeup and hair and some are post D1 soccer players who love a good natural look, and they can pull off both! They give you a little pouch at the end so you can touch up your makeup with exactly that was used on your face. No other wedding I have been in has done this and my friends could all say the same. There truly just isn't a better company to choose to make your day be your special day. My lead hair and makeup artist was Emily and she was amazing!!! Cannot thank Emily and her other team members Heidi and Sara enough.
