We hired Jennifer for wedding coordination, and she went so far beyond just coordinating the day itself. She helped us with absolutely everything, from seating arrangements, rehearsals, and timelines to table settings, vendor tips, and so many little details I never would have thought of on my own. She also shared wonderful vendor recommendations that we ended up using for several parts of our wedding. Her experience and advice were invaluable, and she was always so patient, thoughtful, and willing to help with any question I had (and I had plenty!).

Our wedding was a small, intimate weekend with our families, and we really wanted it to feel special without being overproduced. Jennifer understood that from the beginning and helped us bring everything together so beautifully. She was organized, calm, and incredibly attentive to every detail, and I never once felt like I had to worry about how things would come together.

On the wedding day, everything was absolutely seamless. My husband, my parents and I were able to be completely present and enjoy every minute with our families, which is truly the greatest gift she could have given us.

Could not recommend Jennifer and Storybook Weddings enough. She is extremely competent and very on top of things. She had a helpful answer to every single question we asked her and always had solutions to things we were worried about. She often sent out friendly little reminders to make sure we were checking off to do items which was extremely helpful. The day before our ceremony we moved it inside from outside due to weather, and by the time i went to contact the vendors 30 minutes later, she had already reached out to them and coordinated everything. Above all, she was extremely kind and patient. The day of the wedding, she was so lovely and helpful the entire time. It was obvious she loved to help her clients and genuinely cared about us having a special day. I (the bride) just had my wedding last week (when this was written). It was even better than I imagined, and I know the counseling and planning done by Jennifer Lackey from Storybook Wedding Consulting was a huge part of that. While preparing for the wedding felt overwhelming at times, Jennifer had extremely detailed to-do lists with timelines that helped keep us on track throughout the process. Jennifer also helped us find most of our vendors, who were all fantastic at their respective jobs. It made a huge difference to have her expert recommendations when searching for and choosing those vendors. Her assistance with our venue, caterer and other vendors was seamless and she consistently checked in on us to ensure we understood what was happening and were prepared. On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and not worry about anything other than what was happening in front of me. Also, Jennifer was prepared for anything, as evidenced when we had a minor incident (what wedding doesn’t have at least one!) She was able to dig into her special bag of tricks and pull out a solution! Jennifer is fantastic at her job; I highly recommend her for anyone, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed with wedding planning. She really helped my vision come to life while letting me set my worries aside.

My (now husband!!) and I both work full time in demanding jobs, so I knew I would need some help and working with Jennifer was one of the best decisions I made. She was extremely helpful in keeping us on track on all fronts, and answered every little question I had. She is so kind, and allows you to make your own choices, but was able to make decisions for me if I wasnt able to. Her expertise in the industry was beyond helpful. She is flexible and can pivot in any direction the bride wants on very short notice, and she'll do so with a smile on her face. She is extremely punctual, and it was always very easy to get hold of her. She will be as much or as little involved in your wedding as you want, which I really appreciated. On the day, I knew I could always find her, she'd have an answer to any question I asked, and she made my wedding day flawless. I do not have enough kind words to say about Jennifer; she is the most amazing wedding planner and person. I can’t speak more highly of Jennifer in our wedding planning experience.  As every reviewer unanimously agrees, she absolutely excels at all aspects of her job.....right down to even sitting on the pavement, screwdriver in hand, to secure the get-away car’s bespoke license plate....she gets it done.  No detail was overlooked nor went unsupervised by Jen yet she managed to accomplish the multiple wedding day tasks quickly, efficiently, calmly and quietly, very much under the radar screen.  Her ability to seamlessly manage and coordinate the various vendors was remarkable.  In our case, with the wedding venue being our home, we had already selected the majority of our vendors before we met Jennifer.  Every single one of them expressed how much they enjoyed working with her and all commented on her professionalism, positive attitude and pleasant nature.  Most importantly, it was her calm demeanor and willingness and ability to run interference if necessary that allowed me, a very detail oriented MOB, to let go of all of the potential “day of” anxieties.  I’m not even sure if there were any last minute snafus, and that's the invaluable beauty of having someone like Jen and Storybook Wedding Consulting make your day magical so that you can revel in the moment.
