    Kristin and Bella Vie really capture the moments that you will look back on and cherish forever! I can't say enough about Kristin herself, let alone the beautiful work that she does. Kristin took our engagement pictures and when I saw those, I just couldn't wait for our big day! I couldn't imagine how tired I would be of having to smile and take all those pictures, but Kristin was like a friend of the family. She made us laugh and we all had so much fun with her. She made sure that we had a second photographer also, which made it so awesome because of all those silly and crazy things that were happening at the reception, they were captured by one of them so that we had those lasting memories. I am still hearing from my guests about her and her partner and how cool they were. I love Kristin's work so much that I can't wait to schedule a photo shoot for my kids and my new husband so that we can get family shots to cherish also!

    Bella Vie was wonderful to work with. The quality of their work exceeds what I have seen in the past. We have had a sneek peak and our photos look like something out of a fairytail. We can not wait to see the others but I highly recommend Kristin and her team.

    I've been apart of many weddings, and Bella Vie has been by far the best photographers I've been with. Both Kristin and Sam were amazing to work with and we are so happy we chose them for our wedding!!!! We wish we could have found the time for engagement pictures, because I could have only imagined how beautiful they would have been. Our big day was beautiful and sunny, but my gosh was it a scortcher on Labor Day weekend and they were accommodating and troopers themselves given the boiling temp... we appreciated them for how professional, yet fun they made the day while they were taking pictures of the wedding party in that heat. We will and already have recommended Bella Vie, and hope to use them again in the future to come!

    I tried to be as honest as possible. My husband and I were incredibly happy with the photos we received and the final products...when we finally received them. Kristin and Allison photographed our wedding and did a great job of getting everything we wanted and pretty much flying under the radar while making sure things ran smoothly, which was great. I was later told by family and friends that they gave some attitude to our guests though and I had several people mention they felt they were disliked by the photographers.

    My biggest frustration with them was the incredibly poor responsiveness and professionalism. We, first and foremost, understand how hectic things get but it took over 6 months (it should have taken approx 3 according to her timelines) to receive our wedding album despite us turning in our required forms in an incredibly timely manner. When I contacted Kristin to check the progress I didn't hear back. After waiting 5 days (I believe professionals can respond within 48hrs), I emailed again and voiced my frustrations. Emails back and forth led to Kristin telling me that I need to be patient when we were nothing but patient by being accommodating with her and her family life with rescheduling and waiting longer than deadlines she gave us. She was wrong and yet tried to request more time from me. She turned an exciting moment of awaiting our album into a dreadful process and tried to make me feel bad about it in the meantime. That's inappropriate on so many levels. Despite the wonderful pictures she captured, this alone is enough to make me never want to recommend her to anyone in the future. Spend your money on someone who is as excited about your album/memories as you are, which Kristin did not portray to us.

    I am having a difficult time accepting this review because I feel it is not entirely true. While I do not wish to create a tennis match of arguments with this bride, I feel it is necessary to defend myself in this particular case. First of all, I will openly admit to failing to keep my promised deadlines. I did fall behind in my timeline and I was not able to deliver her bridal album in the initial time frame that was promised. I have accepted responsibility for this and I have repeatedly apologized to the bride. However, I do not feel the bride is being fair in the remaining comments she makes. When I addressed the bride’s email to check on the progress of the design, I promised to finish the design quickly and in fact did just that. Her design was online for approval a few days later. A few changes to the design were made and final approval was given by the bride within a week. The book went to print and was in their hands in less than three weeks. The only time I asked for patience from the bride was with respect to her tone of voice. Every email conversation was insulting and rude. I simply asked for her to have patience from that point forward with respect to how she spoke to me. I never tried to make her feel bad and I accepted complete responsibility for the delay in getting her album design completed. In an effort to be sincere with my apology, I designed and printed the album with additional pages ($200 value) and then I had the album shipped directly to them so that they didn’t have to be inconvenienced by having to come to my location. I could not change the fact that I fell behind in the time management of their design process and I tried very hard to make up for that by pushing the process through at that point as quickly as I could while providing them with something over and above what was contractually agreed upon in their album and delivery. My responsiveness may have been lacking but certainly my professionalism was not. Any other vendor would have made excuses - I did not. I am very disappointed to see that this bride has felt it necessary to write this poor review. Throughout this whole process I have never treated her unfairly nor have I been rude. On a side note, I find it interesting that she states in this review that “they gave some attitude to our guests” and that “several people mention(ed) that they felt they were disliked by the photographers” - this is the first time I have heard that comment. Immediately after the wedding she had nothing but positive things to say about the photographers and the photographs we were able to capture. All told, had she simply stated in this review that her album was not delivered in a timely fashion, I would not have an issue. But she has attacked my personal integrity and I take offense to that. I openly admitted to and dealt with the setback that transpired with her album design. I also attempted to compensate her by adding to her album and shipping it to her. It is unfortunate that she does not have the ability to recognize my efforts, the heart to accept my apology, and the grace to be forgiving.
