Sean was very personable from the start, beginning with our introductory meeting when he presented what his services entailed and what price points he charged at for his work. Once we decided to engage his services, he was very responsive and solicited the needed information from us to plan his shoot. He was very reassuring in the lead-up to the event, and kept us informed of his plans and work flow as the date drew near. On the day of the wedding, Sean was punctual, professional, and performed admirably. For the groom's preparation shoot, Sean interacted superbly with the groom's family and friends and got the best formal as well as impromptu shots that day. Same with the bride's side. His friendly, lighthearted personality helped keep the day not stressful, which was both helpful and appreciated. Throughout the lead-up to the wedding, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Sean really was a virtual Ninja as he slipped in and out of the crowd getting the best shots - both posed and candid. He was so unobtrusive that we rarely saw him! In the end, we were very happy with his product and would recommend his services to other couples for their big day.

When my husband and I sat down to figure out our wedding priorities, we both knew the photographer would be at the top of the list. We wanted a photographer that really captured the feeling of the day, and caught all the small moments and details that we knew we’d miss in the flurry of excitement. As soon as we came across Erin’s website, we fell in love! Her photos completely capture each person’s entire personality. We felt like we actually KNEW these strangers in the photos just by looking at them! We live out of state, so our first meeting with Erin was over Skype. And we fell in love all over again! She is so sweet and funny, and we immediately felt like we’d known her for months. We didn’t meet her in person until we did our engagement photo session. My husband and I are both usually behind the camera, and we’d never really had a ton of photos taken of us. Erin made us feel immediately comfortable. She gave us good tips on how to look natural on camera, and talked us through different poses, all the while capturing us just as we were. The engagement session also helped us get comfortable hanging out with her, which is especially important before you spend your entire wedding day with someone! The thing that’s most amazing to me is how they can capture all these moments without feeling intrusive. In a lot of ways, they blend into the wedding and you forget there’s even a camera in the room! Erin and her sister, Lauren, are amazing. They are so funny, and great at making everybody feel comfortable. We got our photos back a few weeks ago, and we are SO incredibly happy with them- we can’t stop looking at them! They capture the entire day so perfectly, and there are so many amazing candid shots of our friends and family, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Erin has been so great to work with the entire time, and we would highly recommend her. She’s someone we would absolutely want to be friends with if we lived in the same city!

You never know exactly what you're getting when you hire a photographer, but Mara from Mara Faye Photography was just awesome. She was amazingly prompt with everything - texts, emails, phone calls, setting pre-wedding meetings & checklists. We had a vintage hotrod that my new husband built as a backdrop for a bunch of our pics & Mara did that truck rad justice! And the sparkler send off --- where do I begin?!? Amazing action shots & the part where she 'leaves the shutter open ...' - I have no idea how all that works, but Mara does!!! We have THE BEST pics. All over great photography that I would highly recommend --- 5 STARS for sure!!! Oh & she even came to the place where I was getting my hair & makeup done earlier that day!!! Above & beyond --- that's how I feel!!! Great prices, too! Really --- highly recommend! The only 'complaint' was that she declined the hotel room that we offered our vendors so they were able to spend the night, if they wanted. Lol - saved us $100!

Monica is amazing and she is my personal recommendation if you're looking for a photographer in the Chicago area. I booked a couples photoshoot and Monica was a pleasure to work with. She set up an introductory call to walk us through her process, answer any questions and get a general sense of who we were as a couple. She had location recommendations, suggested the best shooting times and tried to prepare us as best she could for the shoot. She was always responsive when we reached out. The terms in the contract were clear and payment was straightforward. The day of the shoot was a lot of fun and it didn't feel awkward at all. The pictures themselves ARE THE BEST PICTURES I'VE EVER TAKEN. I am in love with every picture she took that day! She is incredibly talented and she got them back to us within the timeframe stated in the contract. Overall, I highly recommend her for all of your photography needs and I will definitely be booking her again. Side note... I also proposed during the shoot so she helped time it perfectly so that my fiancée was distracted when I went to get the ring. She gets a 10/10 from us. If you book her you won't regret it!
