  Absolutely Amazing People and Photos

  I attached just a few photos from my wedding that Mark and Sherri took for us. A quick snippet of all the different photos they got for us (they got soooo many amazing photos of that day).
  On top of everything, their professionalism, the quality of the photography, the organization, the value, and the priceless memories captured, they were so genuinely kind. What could have been a really rough day (due to other factors) was amazing and my husband and I got to have an amazing time. Mark and Sherri were our cheerleaders all day and kept us smiling and laughing with the rest of our bridal party.
  We are sure to be repeat customers for our anniversary photos and future baby and family photos.
  They are truly amazing people who take so much pride in what they do and do everything they can to make sure you’re enjoying it as much as possible.
  Thank you Mark and Sherri.

  Amazing photos!

  Mark and Sherri are the absolute BEST when it comes to photography. We actually planned our wedding date on their availability to make sure they were the ones taking our photos. They are AWESOME to work with and Mark is the master of taking and editing photos. Remember that you spend your whole wedding day with your photographer... Mark is not only incredibly talented but he's also a blast to hang out with. We are so grateful for having shared our day with Amelse Photography! Our photos are breathtaking and we will cherish them forever!

  Mark has a gift to make everyone feel comfortable and engaged in the entire process. His professionalism and love of what he does is very apparent in his work. If you are looking for a unique, amazing, very reasonable photographer, he is who you want. I will use him for family portraits from this point on. No one came even close to comparing to his work that I've seen or researched. He is a true artist.

  We have not received our photos back from our wedding yet, but Mark was amazing! We had a difficult day as far as weather went but he really did make the best of it. Knew exactly when to get the shot. Can not wait to see the finished product from Mark. He truly has a passion for what he does!

  Wonderful photographer and his wife helped out too. Great duo! They were very flexible with our schedules and made sure to get most photos we wanted. (We were limited on time) Very creative work and photos taken were instantly gorgeous (he showed me some right after taking them without touching an edit button)! Not afraid to get on the ground/dance floor/in people's faces to get the best moments of the night! Very happy!

  Mark is a true master, a true professional, and a class act. I can not praise anyone higher, as his service is truly the best. I am currently looking at a photo in my living room from my sister-in-law's wedding, and it is stunning. Mark was such a great photographer at her wedding that my wife and I could think of nobody else to have capture our big day.
  
  Mark arrives on time, is great with communication, and captures every shot that you ask him to do. He promptly put out teaser photos for us to keep us filled until he delivered all the goods, and we were absolutely blown away! What separates him from other photographers is his incredible attention to detail in capturing the unscripted moments. Almost every moment that we spoke about fondly was captured by his lens, and he did so without ever intruding on the scene. Mark and his wife are truly an incredibly talented duo.
  
  Mark and his wife are also a pleasure to work with. They engage everyone to capture their spirit in photos, and both are full of true and honest compliments. It is so refreshing to work with someone who is so engaged and happy while doing their work. It wasn't uncommon to hear Mark get audibly excited about capturing an image, and then quickly run to show you how great of a moment he captured.
  
  All of that would be enough to recommend him, but their service is also an incredible value. The work that Amelse Photography provides is truly of the best quality, and the price can not be beat. Mark's editing talent alone is top-notch, truly I can not tell you what a master he is with editing. His images have a trademark "pop" that make the photos truly come to life, and look more like how you remember the moment.
  
  For professional service, quality, and value, you can not find a better photographer for your wedding.

So our comments on Amelse Photography are grounded in considerable experience.
  
  Mark - often assisted by his wife – who frequently accompanies him at big events - is an incredibly talented photographer. Having been in the business for some time, he is familiar with many of the reception venues in the Chicago metropolitan area. In church settings, where numerous photography restrictions often apply, Mark is reverent, courteous, professional and unobtrusive without being ineffective. Most decent photographers are successful at catching traditional set-piece images of the bridal couple, families, wedding party, church and reception site - but Mark has an additional flare for capturing unexpected images and spontaneous, unrehearsed moments that truly capture the spirit of the event. Even in posed photos he demonstrates an artist’s eye in using color, light, and composition to get the best results. I dare anyone who watches one of the online “teaser” slide show music videos, that Mark provides shortly after a wedding, to remain dry-eyed. Friends and family are still raving about the photos from our 2010 nuptials and the pics from this April’s wedding are similarly spectacular and likewise receiving enthusiastic praise. Mark’s prices are competitive, and well worth the investment. He also offers the newlyweds the opportunity to purchase rights to all of the images in digital format - obviating the limiting, often annoying, and always tremendously expensive requirement to buy individual prints directly from the photographer. The DVDs we have from the 2010 wedding contain over 1000 photos!

  Words can not describe how amazing Mark's work is!! My photo's left us and our family speechless! If you want someone with an eye for those magical moments you can't plan or repeat, than by all means this is your photographer!!!!! He loves what he does and it shows with his professionalism and attitude! All of my quests wanted his contact information after the wedding. He never stopped taking photos. He enjoyed the party & my guests. I will never look or recommend another photographer again!! Mark is our photographer now!

  I am amazed by this photographer- Mark Amelse. He was nothing but wonderful. I had so many compliments from people on the wedding day about how great he was and how much fun he brought to the day. He is very creative. He takes amazing pictures. He stays with you all day. He really makes the day all about you. I've been recommending him to everyone I know who is wedding planning. I'm so happy I chose him as my photographer because now I have all of these wonderful pictures that will be with me for the rest of my life and they are so much better than all of the other work I saw being done by other photographers in the area. Mark really has an eye for this stuff and he delivers exceptional quality.
