Aaron was very collaborative and brought lots of knowledge to the table. He helped us decide on the perfect time of day to hold our ceremony to achieve the best lighting--and the results are stunning! Beyond your standard fare wedding poses, he somehow manages to capture those subtle, endearing moments as well. Aaron Willcox, photographer extraordinaire, what an exceptional addition you were to team Loveboat!
I feel so lucky that we got to have you photograph our wedding. The images you captured are beautiful, artistic, warm, fun-loving, unique, playful. They are everything I hoped they'd be and more.
You even captured dolphins in the background of our ceremony! And a pelican diving into the ocean at sunset!
Thank you for suggesting that Aislyn and I take a moment and watch the sunset. Something we would have neglected to do without your knowing suggestion!
Thank you for helping me feel so comfortable. Your calming presence was a great help to my nervousness.
Neither of us like to be in the spotlight and you were so good at putting us at ease. This is clearly demonstrated in the photograph of all three of us (i've never seen myself look so relaxed and happy)!

If you are lucky enough to secure Aaron Willcox for your big day you will be VERY Blessed. We were so impressed with his art and angles (it was as if he had a second shooter). He has the gift. My wife and I wed 7 months ago, and we recently reminisced all afternoon and we couldn't believe the sublime work he performed.
He is also a phenomenal human being. Cool as a cucumber, very relaxed, and open. This gem in Encinitas in my humble opinion is the best.

We Love You Brother??????If you are lucky enough to secure Aaron Willcox for your big day you will be VERY Blessed. We were so impressed with his art and angles (it was as if he had a second shooter). He has the gift. My wife and I wed 7 months ago, and we recently reminisced all afternoon and we couldn't believe the sublime work he performed.

First off, Aaron as a person is such a genuine nice guy, honest and super patient. When thinking about who we wanted to entrust to chronicle one of our most important days, those qualities are really invaluable. It's not his first rodeo and he definitely put us at ease as our wedding day got closer. On the day of, while we were running around like crazy headless chickens he calmly went with the flow and somehow got gorgeous shots.
Aaron is just very talented, he will totally do the traditional posed pictures if you'd like but we hired him after seeing his portfolio of amazing candids he had done for his previous couples. We just got our pictures back and he did not disappoint, he caught moments, looks, faces and emotions that my wife and I will really treasure when we look back on our wedding day. I don't even know how he got so many places and angles, he literally must have been running around but I cannot even remember seeing him. We highly recommend working with him, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough amazing things to truly describe how wonderful Aaron is. From our first meeting I have felt that he was more of a friend than anything else, and he is so warm and friendly and accommodating that you immediately feel at ease with him. He is so fairly priced and I so appreciated that. I'm sorry- but to me, no photos will ever be worth $4,000 or $5,000, and any photographer who charges that is shameful. Aaron was worth every penny (and more!) and the fact that you don't have to pay per photo and that he gives everyone access to all of the photos and high def files is AWESOME and totally worth it in itself. I honestly didn't even notice him during the ceremony and there were photos from every angle- so I'm thinking he must be able to teleport because I have no clue how he was able to get so many perspectives without him climbing over our guests. Everyone loves the photos and he did a few 'special effect' shots at our request that turned out fantastic. I don't usually like taking photographs because I feel uncomfortable but I never felt like that the whole day with him. There is no way that you will ever regret hiring Aaron- I'm just so happy that we were able to have such a nice, cool person share our day with us! Aaron is amazing both as a photographer and a person. Aaron was an amazing photographer for our wedding. He has a creative eye for the candid shots and formal portraits. We absolutely loved his photo journalistic style.
