I can’t begin to describe how gorgeous of a venue this is - every inch is just stunning. They have several different outdoor and indoor ceremony locations, the staff is amazing and helpful throughout the planning process, and they give the newlyweds the opportunity to stay overnight at the Mansion after the wedding! My husband and I feel so blessed to have been married at this incredible venue. We had an 11 month engagement during which we could visit as much as we wanted to help with our planning. The staff members were always so kind and accommodating. Our only complaint was that after we gave our final headcount and payment to the in-house caterer, five guests had to cancel last minute, so we brought several to-go boxes in order to take those meals home that we had already paid for. The kitchen staff however told my parents that no extra meals were available, so we lost about $250 ($50 per meal) with nothing to show for it. To any future clients I would recommend contacting the catering staff early on wedding day to tell them you want to take extra meals home, in order to avoid the same issue. My mom and coordinator also had to rearrange some tables and chairs in the reception space on wedding day because what they had set up didn’t match my floor plan - a minor issue and just something to be mindful of. Overall, I would book Lone Star Mansion again in a heartbeat. It was our dream wedding at our dream location!
