Constructed in 1989, the Marty Leonard Community Chapel was dedicated to serving the youth and families of Lena Hope, a place for children and families during the depression and post-war years, in an uplifting environment. It was named after Marty Leonard because of her contributions to Lena Pope as an advocate and supporter. She has been consistently involved in the executive committee. Her friends and family surprised her with the chapel on her 50th birthday — it had been her dream for years. Now, the chapel is also a place for weddings, vow renewals and church services, acting as a reflection of the positive impact Marty Leonard had on Lena Hope.

I cannot say enough about good things. From start to finish they were wonderful. Charles gave us the tour when we first booked and answered all of our questions. Diana was there on the day of the wedding to help everything go smoothly and perfectly. They were both so helpful. Everything was very straightforward from the beginning, no hidden rules or extra fees. Pricing was super reasonable for such a beautiful venue. We booked last minute and were so thrilled that they had our date/time available. And we had to change the time of the rehearsal last minute due to minister availability; they were amazing about it. I will recommend this gorgeous chapel to everyone.Sent on 04/25/2019
