History
Constructed in 1989, the Marty Leonard Community Chapel was dedicated to serving the youth and families of Lena Hope in an uplifting environment. It was named after Marty Leonard because of her contributions to Lena Pope as an advocate and long-time board member. Her friends and family surprised her with the chapel on her 50th birthday — it had been her dream for years. Now, the chapel is also a place for weddings, vow renewals and church services, acting as a reflection of the positive impact Marty Leonard has had on Lena Hope.
