We just got our online photo gallery back, and we have no words to describe how happy we are with the photos. Jonathan had such an artistic and creative way of showcasing our day. We could 100% rely on him to capturing every special moment, especially the emotions involved. It's so hard to choose which ones I want to print and post!!!

Jonathan really went above and beyond for us. He is based in San Antonio but traveled to Houston and even showed up to the venue early. You could tell this is more than a job for him - he has fun doing this, which makes it that much more special!

Jonathan Ivy photographed my daughter's wedding. He and his staff are very professional and he is absolutely the BEST photographer you can hire for a wedding!! We booked Jonathan Ivy Photography for both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos- and we are SO happy we did. First off, Jonathan and his wife, Samantha (Sam), are super friendly and easy to work with. Upon first reaching out to them (after reading many awesome reviews online) they immediately responded and recommended meeting up for drinks/dinner to get to know each other. These two are the best of the best. They brought samples of their work and different high quality book options they offer- and we immediately knew we had to have the works. Jonathan and Sam are both very approachable and professional. Their photos speak for themselves. Jonathan has an eye for amazing photo opportunities and helps make you feel comfortable from the start. He excels at capturing the natural/fun moments in perfect, glowy lighting. Sam goes above and beyond to make each photo release feel special. They create a unique blog post, share links on facebook, feature you on their instagram page, and maybe even add in a special delivery of chocolate, champagne, and flutes to announce your wedding photos are officially ready (spoke straight to my heart!). Sam thinks of all of the details! At the last minute, we included in our wedding package a sign-in book, and Sam worked with us to make sure it was ready in time and even included pens that would work best with the pages. Book Jonathan Ivy Photography before they are booked up for the wedding season! You can trust them to capture all of the highlights and memories of your special day. Jonathan is awesome!!! I spent a lot of time researching great photographers in the San Antonio area. Jonathan's photography style is very artistic, precise and unique to this area. The photographs are true to your memories. He is great with crisp and colorful shots. He is also so good at looking at his environment and finding great photo opportunities that captivate the environment and your love for each other. His photographs tell a story of your day which is so great to look back on and re-live. Samantha was great in coordinating everything they needed for the big day! Communication was quick, timely and organized. I would highly recommend Jonathan Ivy Photography!!! :)

The best decision I could have made for my wedding by far. They are not only amazing at what they do but they also are very passionate about it and it shows in the photos. They have done my engagement photos, and they will be doing my bridal photos and wedding photos. They also helped me make huge decisions on the wedding like recommending when the ceremony should take place to make sure all photos were done in proper lighting. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have amazing photos and be stress-free about photography. I also work overnight so have had to communicate at odd hours or have my mom speak on my behalf at other times and have always gotten a very quick reply from Samantha.

An absolute must hire in San Antonio! Jonathan was able to capture our wedding beautifully and manage everything flawlessly. The pictures will last a lifetime.
