The Cake Obsession - Review We chose The Cake Obsession for our wedding cake, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience! Our at-home tasting made it incredibly convenient for us to sample and select the perfect layers and fillings for our cake. It is clear that the owner is passionate about their craft, and the whole process was smooth and enjoyable. The service was exceptional before, during, and after the event. They made sure everything was exactly as we envisioned, from the design to the flavors. On the big day, the tiered cake was not only stunning but also absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was! We recommend their services to anyone looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for their special occasion.

Allessa and her team work tirelessly to bring your vision forth. My son’s grooms cake turned out beautifully. The cake itself was also fabulous. Sometimes you get a showstopper with dry cake or vice verse but this was the whole package. Love this cooler with custom stickers to showcase his hobbies. Excellent communication and flawless execution. Allessa makes it happen with zero stress.

Romy delivered the most beautiful and amazing cake to our rehearsal dinner in Simpsonville. It was a three tiered cake. Flavor was peanut butter and chocolate as requested. She went above and beyond with the decor. Her communication was great and she responded to my questions very quickly. I highly recommend her for your special occasion needs.

La Dolce made my wedding cake and it was beautiful! The consultation was professional but very easy going. Prices were reasonable. Our cake turned out perfect, the colors and design matched our wedding spot on. We were able to use our own ribbon, cake topper and flowers from our florist. La Dolce took care of delivery and placing the topper and flowers. We had 3 tiers plus a topper and we were able to make each tier a different flavor at no extra charge. (we had yellow with chocolate filling, German chocolate, yellow with berries and cream and finally chocolate with cream cheese frosting in the topper, the frosting was buttercream on the outside). We had ordered more cake than we needed but guests liked it so much that they went back for seconds and there was absolutely no leftover cake (except the topper, which my husband and I could not resist saving and ate the next day). My family also surprised me with a cake from La Dolce for my bridal shower prior to the wedding. It was an adorable cake with an octopus on top. I love octopi stuff and this was the theme for the shower. The cake was delicious with one layer strawberry and one layer chocolate.

We cannot give Becca enough stars to express how impressed we were with the pre-wedding cake she made for our daughter, Shelby. With very little notice, Becca made the perfect homage to the Steel Magnolia's groom's cake.

I totally agree with the first review, Lindsay's cakes are delicious and beautiful. It was more than we could have ever imagined. It was just what my daughter wanted for her cake. This was the only sweet thing on our wedding menu, and I wanted my guest to eat the wedding cake , and boy did they eat it and it was GOOD. So many guest could not decide what flavor they wanted...they were all good. I can't say enough about Lindsay's professionalism, she is great!

I booked with them relatively late. I had a little problem with the first baker and I booked them about 30 days out. I am in Charlotte, and they are located in Columbia, so there was an extra delivery charge...but it was worth it!!! They give you a sheet caked along with your wedding cake. EVERY SINGLE FLAVOR we tasted was good. She can BAKE!!!! I lost some money with my first baker because I cancelled, but truthfully, it was all worth it. We ended up with more cake than with the original baker and I believe that it was much better. You can't go wrong here. My guests are still talking about this cake. I heard there were arguments at tables about which flavor was better!!! I'm hooked...she's my baker for life.

Though I never got to meet Dot in person, the red velvet with buttercream 3 tier she made for our day was delicious and beautiful!
