Unwrapped & Uncorked Events is a full-service wedding and event planning company in Austin, Texas, servicing weddings throughout Austin and the surrounding areas. Event planner Kathryn Eyers can accommodate weddings of all sizes and styles, ranging from intimate affairs to larger-scale weddings.
Experience Owner Kathryn Eyers has over a dozen years of professional experience in the hospitality and event planning industry. Kathryn holds a hospitality business degree from Michigan State University and prior to opening her business, spent years traveling around the country gaining events & hospitality experiences. She spent years planning banquets and events with Marriott Hotels for both corporate and social clients. She also served as the event manager for a premier catering company in Sonoma, California.

Hire Kathryn!!
Kathryn went above and beyond for us!!
We hired her as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. She is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and she is the person you want by your side as you plan for your big day.
The day before our wedding, I had forgotten to purchase flowers for the entrance, and she was so kind to get them for me and she even created a beautiful flower arrangement out of them. Thanks to her, my husband and I were able to celebrate with our families stress-free. Kathryn was so supportive throughout the whole process; she created an event timeline and confirmed with all vendors, she came to the rehearsal at the church, and she received all the rentals (the day before our wedding).
She's the best, so consider yourself lucky if she's available for your wedding date.

Invaluable!
Kathryn was what held me together for months and months while planning my daughter's wedding. I was so naive about what I was getting into and she kept me from making huge mistakes. For a perfect wedding- Hire Kat
Y'all,
if you're thinking about hiring a wedding planner, hire Kat. Like for real. Just do it. She is the literal best. My wife and I got married on our 11th anniversary, and Kat helped us orchestrate the entire affair. I'm not gunna say my wife and I particularly easy or hard to work with but if you believe in astrology... we're both Virgos... and if you dont... we're both PhD students... so planning a wedding with us could have been difficult; except Kats organization, execution, and vendor connections were invaluable to us in creating the perfect day.
But here's the kicker... after Kat agreed to do our wedding we found out she organized the weddings of several of our dear friends and co-wedding guests!
I wanted to share a few pictures of Kat at our special day: in the first she is helping get everything set up, in the second she's surrounded by all the couples who's wedding she has planned, and finally one of the many many flower arrangements she put together for us! All in all she is a wonderful help, a great advocate, and all around a great human. You will not be disappointed working with her!

Kat is the best hands down!
TL; DR
HIRE KAT! She was the biggest support in helping create our perfect day. No detailed was left unaccounted for throughout every step of the way. I would work with Kat again in a heartbeat.
Fun fact: After we hired her, we realized she was also the wedding planner for two of our bestest friends’ weddings (which were also incredibly beautiful and well-organized events)!

I was quite reluctant to hire a wedding planning. My reasons being that I’m organized, good with research, and excellent with time management. I could handle a wedding that was about a year out and around 50 attendees with my handy spreadsheet skills. But my fiancé wanted to talk to a wedding planner.
Then the introductory call with Kat came and I was 100% in by the time we hung up. She put me at ease without me even realizing I had been stressing a bit. She heard what both my partner and I were saying about what we wanted, didn’t want, and everything in-between. She clearly knew her stuff in addition to being wonderfully kind. Even though we hadn’t said “yes” yet, Kat was taking notes and getting excited about who she was going to recommend (we choose the less involved option, but the support was always 100%).
Turns out planning a wedding is a lot of work…I often found myself putting wedding things on the backburner, but Kat kept us on track. She would send regular e-mails to see if there was anything she could do to help or in-put into our timeline and budget spreadsheets (that she provided).
The contacts she suggested were tailored to our wishes and were absolutely spot on! At one point I thought the hair/makeup person hadn’t responded after quite a while (pro tip: check your spam folder) and Kat was beyond ready to reach out to see what was going on.
The week before the wedding Kat was even more involved and supportive in what we needed to make our day absolutely perfect. For instance, the day before Kat, the groom, and I went to a local flower shop and bought a basketful of bouquets which Kat then took home and arranged. I tossed words and vibes at Kat, and she ran with them and soared.
I felt cared for by Kat at my wedding. She made sure the groom and I were hydrated, fed, and enjoying our day. When the cold rain started, her spirits did not go down in the slightest.
Her well wishes extended beyond the ceremony and wrap up messages. No detailed was left unaccounted for throughout every step of the way. I would work with Kat again in a heartbeat.

The Absolute Best
Kat is such a delight to work with. I was super stressed about the idea of planning a wedding, but then Kat came in and I don’t even know how to describe how amazing she is. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. She handles all of the details, and many of the ones you don’t even think about. There were so many things day off I just didn’t even think about that she just totally handled, no questions asked. She doesn’t stress about the last minute things and has such a calm presence, she’s exactly what you need in a wedding planner and more. Our day was incredible and it had everything to do with all of Kat’s hard work. Her direction throughout the entire process is so helpful. She’s available and attentive and just so dang good at what she does. I will forever be so grateful that we had Kat handle one of the biggest days of our lives.

You have found your Wedding Planner!
Kat was recommended to me by a friend, and I couldn't be more grateful. I was the one who naively said, "We don't need a wedding planner; they're too expensive," but because our venue required one for at least the day of, I searched for one. That was THE best decision of the whole wedding and if I were to do it again, I'd hire Kat from the very beginning and pay her double! She is simply pheonomenal. Kat took care of EVERY little thing you could possibly think of, and she did so with such ease and calmness. She kept in very close communication with us and coordinated with every vendor and every assistant involved. She responded to texts and emails immediately. She is so experienced with weddings that she was ready to tackle any problem that arose with confidence and professionalism. KAT MEYERS made my daughter's wedding a complete success and WE got to just enjoy the day. Even the week prior to the wedding, people were asking me, "Why aren't you stressed at all?" I answered, "You see, I have this amazing wedding coordinator..."
If Kat has availability for your date, you are lucky. She is an angel in disguise!

Hire this woman! You won’t regret it!!!
Kathryn Eyers is simply amazing!!! She was instrumental in having the wedding of our dreams and is reasonably priced. She understood that we were on a fairly tight budget and that our top goal was to have a FUN time with our beloved friends and family members…with a classy/country vibe. She met with us multiple times, both online and in person, to gather and share information as the event planning progressed. She brought a sense of calm and organization to what otherwise could’ve been incredibly overwhelming. She helped us with resources and ideas that enabled us to do exactly what we wanted. She stayed in touch with our vendors (photographer, flowers, DJ, food, cake, bartenders, venue owner, etc). We had the BEST time at our wedding. Kat was always there in the wings, quietly and pleasantly making sure that EVERY SINGLE THING was happening, as planned. She kept us on schedule, while allowing the flexibility that was needed to ENJOY the weekend.
Kat brings knowledge and clarity to wedding planning, making it an overall joy to pull off your vision. We couldn’t have done it without her, and we are forever grateful. If you’re debating about the wedding planner to choose, this is your person. Just hire her! Our rehearsal/welcome evening and the wedding went off just the way we had hoped…a dream fulfilled!
