About

The Woodshed is a unique wedding venue nestled in beautiful Vista, California. This property is located in a business park, offering a fantastic contemporary design that is sure to impress your guests. Owned and run by Booze Brothers Brewing Company, the venue reflects all of things the customers love about their tasting room: tons of greenery, custom light fixtures, ornate wooden walls, and delicious craft beer with the addition of wine. Their welcoming space has all who enter instantly feeling at ease. Guests are able to appreciate the detail that was taken into account when designing the space as they walk in. This venue desires to give their clients the best experience possible and has worked tirelessly to produce a space where their customers feel connected and comfortable.

Facilities and Capacity

The Woodshed presents a warehouse that is bursting with greenery and life. There are many plants that hang both in the interior and exterior. It is the venue's goal to instill a feeling of an oasis in each and every one of their clients' minds as they spend time on the premises. There is a fun and interactive chalk wall that may be used for a photo booth backdrop or a space where a mural may be created to display something magical and truly representative of the couple. This wall is also a great place for guests to write sweet messages to the happy couple, enabling a collaborative atmosphere to preserve at the event. The entire interior is masterfully built and designed, portraying an artisanal take on industrial design. A maximum capacity of 100 people may attend an event in this space.

Services Offered

The Woodshed offers up to 12 hours of access for a wedding. Six belly bars may be provided for an event and both tables and chairs are included. Outside vendors are welcome on the property in order to accommodate more specific needs. There are 10 taps present to serve craft beer and wine is available for private events. Liquor is not allowed within the venue. Should the couple be interested in making use of their list of preferred vendors, this venue would be pleased to offer recommendations to suit their preferences.

Great for a Welcome Party!

We had our welcome party dinner at the Woodshed, as we were looking for a large space that would be able to host roughly 100 people. The Woodshed ended up being an awesome space for it and we couldn't recommend it enough.

First off, Anndrea was a pleasure to work with. She toured the venue with us, answering all of our questions the day of and afterwards. She was quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire time. Shoutout to Tiffany as well, who was able to help us out on the day of the event, and helped to bar tend.

The venue itself is also such a fun space, with fun accents, such as the live plant wall and the fun tap handles. We created a Spotify playlist that we were able to play using the venue speakers, and we even used the projector screen that they had to play our Nintendo Switch games during the welcome party.

Street parking was plentiful and our guests ended up loving the venue as well. We would highly recommend the Woodshed for anyone looking for a fun space to host a gathering or party!

Modern Brewery Wedding Vibes - Cannot Recommend Enough!

My husband and I got married at the Wood Shed Venue last month and where can I begin - we loved every part of working with the Wood Shed and how it shaped our beautiful wedding! We wanted a venue where we could source all of our vendors ourselves + we only wanted beer & wine available as alcoholic options for our guests. The Wood Shed ticked off those boxes plus so much more!

The venue itself is so incredibly spacious and GORGEOUS inside. There are tables & chairs already included and the beer & wine lists are insanely big. At our wedding we had 7 different beers and 7 wine options for our guests! Working with Kristina, the Venue Coordinator, was so easy! Any questions we had - whether it was 1 or 10, she answered quickly and with the info we needed. For the reception, we opened up the outside deck to include corn hole and beer pong which was a huge hit along with the dance floor we had inside!

This was the wedding of our dreams and we cannot recommend the Wood Shed enough for a couple who wants to source their own vendors and have their special day set in a modern, brewery, type of venue.

Dream Come True

The communication was solid, the venue beautiful, and even though it rained we still were able to improvise and have the greatest day of our lives. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful; I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for our wedding.

Perfect venue for a fun and stunning wedding

Couldn’t ask for more! Good price, great staff and it’s just so stunning in photos and in person. Their furniture is great and convenient to rent as well.

The perfect space

Between the space and Alyssa, our reception was everything I imagined! The beer was incredible, the venue is so aesthetically perfect for pictures and Alyssa shared perfect vendor recommendations for their space.

Gorgeous and efficient venue

We absolutely loved having our wedding at this venue. Everything you need it at the venue and it’s positively gorgeous. The wood work and greenery makes this place such a magical venue. It’s private and fun. It can be casual and elegant. True gem of Vista!

Great Wedding Venue

The Wood Shed was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a venue. We both love local breweries and though it would be fun to have craft beer on tap and the price was reasonable. The Wood Shed also allowed a lot of flexibility with vendors which I really appreciated. We ended up booking a food vendor they recommended which worked out perfectly and going with vendors I found online for the rest. The venue was also very responsive when I had questions which I appreciated.

All we could ask for and more!

We are so happy that we picked The Wood Shed for our wedding reception. We wanted it to simplify our wedding as much as possible and this venue was perfect for that! There is so much natural greenery and built in decorations that we didn't feel we needed to add much more- and we didn't! From the giant wood paneled wall, to the hanging greenery and green wall, to the chalk board wall, and awesome bar... it was all we could ask for and more. Alyssa was super helpful, responsive and gave us tips and suggestions that we wouldn't have thought of without her help. We got to have a taco vendor come, our own florist and DJ, and everyone was so supportive in letting us choose what we wanted. With our experience in looking at other venues, this isn't normally the case. They also let us come in and map things out a couple times which was super helpful and relieved stress. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue is and questioning us how we found it. From our favorite brewery to our wedding place! Thank you Alyssa and team! We are so grateful for you.

This is seriously the most amazing venue, theres just something about it, the moment you walk in you want to get married there. From the beautiful woodwork, to the living plant wall, to the ridiculously good beer. They made the daunting thought of planning a wedding super easy! Alyssa is very responsive and helpful in figuring out how to best utilize the space. Everyone who attended our wedding couldnt get over the space and the people that worked it. We loved that we were able to use our own vendors, gave us the ability to make the space our own. I would recommend this place to anyone! BOOK IT!

My wedding was now a year ago and I still can not stop thinking about it. The woodshed is absolutely beautiful. And we were able to fit 165 in there. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks again you guys!

The Wood Shed is a gem of a wedding venue in San Diego. Especially if you are particularly fond of lush greenery! The plant wall/corner is epic and undoubtedly my favorite part, but every detail inside and outside is so unique and fun. It's a modern space that has a little bit of edge and boho to it. One of my favorite venues in San Diego!
