Villa San Giovese is a private Tuscan-style vineyard wedding venue in the hills of Jamul, just thirty minutes from downtown San Diego. We are Todd and Bruno, a married couple, and this three-and-a-half-acre estate and working Sangiovese vineyard is our home. We built an outdoor San Diego wedding venue where the golden light of Southern California meets the warmth of the Italian countryside.

What sets us apart: we host one wedding at a time, never two. When you book Villa San Giovese, the entire estate is yours, with no other event sharing the grounds, the parking, or your timeline. And because we are a married couple ourselves, every couple is celebrated here, fully and joyfully, including LGBTQ+ weddings.

Facilities & Capacity

Set on 3.5 acres with panoramic mountain views and the 12,300-acre San Diego National Wildlife Refuge as your backdrop, the estate hosts weddings, receptions, micro-weddings, and vow renewals. We accommodate up to 250 guests for a full wedding, and offer all-inclusive micro-wedding packages for intimate celebrations of 20 to 40 guests, as well as elopements and vow exchanges for two.

Couples exchange vows at our stone Italian altar overlooking the vineyard, with the outdoor ceremony area shaded by sun sails for comfort. For getting ready, the west wing is available to rent for your wedding party, with optional pool access. A renovated Italian-style kitchen and a 200-square-foot butler's pantry support your catering team. For larger celebrations, we coordinate valet and shuttle service so guests arrive smoothly without parking on a private estate. And for overnight stays, the neighboring Butterfly House is available to rent separately, keeping your closest guests right beside the celebration.

Services Offered

Villa San Giovese offers customizable wedding packages that include complimentary décor, set up and taken down by our on-site team. The grounds feature a private vineyard, rose gardens, lavender, mature fruit trees, fountains, and hand-carved stone details, giving photographers endless backdrops across the estate. Because we live on-site, we personally host every tour and stay present through every detail of your day. We take a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple has our full attention.
