Callaway Vineyard & Winery is an exquisite vineyard venue catering to weddings, based in Temecula, California. Nestled on 20 acres of glorious property and set 14,000 feet into the sky, this enchanting venue offers a view like no other. Couples can enjoy their special day while overlooking California’s wine country, adds a touch of elegance to the romance in the air.
Facilities and Capacities
This venue offers a choice of two indoor and four outdoor event spaces for ceremonies and receptions. Couples can marry on the West Lawn looking out over the vineyards, or on the South Lawn, with views of the Temecula Valley before them. The venue boasts an outside deck area, as well as a courtyard. Guests can breathe in the natural air and indulge in wine tastings as they admire the glorious scenery. For couples who wish to celebrate the occasion indoors, they can choose the Reserve Room with its floor-to-ceiling windows or the eloquent Barrel Room. The latter is decorated with walls of wooden wine barrels, creating an authentic atmosphere that reflects the surrounding landscape.

This venue hosts wedding ceremonies, receptions, showers, and engagement parties. Their wedding department can help couples plan the event, while a dedicated staff is on-hand to organize the setup and cleanup. History
The ground at Callaway Vineyard & Winery was first planted in 1969 by the eponymous owner, Ely Reeves Callaway Jr. After serving in World War II as an officer, he moved to Temecula with the belief that the soil there was ideal for the fertilization of grapes. Ignoring those who told him that good wine could never be produced in the area, he continued his vision. His determination and strength of character lead him to success, launching Southern California’s reputation for stellar wines. Served to visiting royalty such as Queen Elizabeth II and winner of multiple awards, both the wine and vineyard are renowned for excellence.

A Seamless and Stunning Wedding Experience
What truly made the experience exceptional, was Mariah, their event coordinator. Mariah was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding day was exactly what we envisioned. She guided us through every step of the planning process with patience and expertise, always making us feel supported and confident.
On the day of the wedding, Mariah handled everything seamlessly. She kept the timeline running smoothly, coordinated with vendors effortlessly, and took care of any details or questions before we even had to think about them. Because of her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy our day without stress. Her calm presence and attention to detail made such a difference, and we are beyond grateful for her dedication.
If you are considering Callaway Winery as your wedding venue, we cannot recommend it highly enough, and if Mariah is your coordinator, you are truly in the best hands. Together, they provided a beautiful, organized, and unforgettable wedding experience that exceeded our expectations in every way.

A huge shoutout to our two fantastic bartenders, especially Laura—our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful and sweet she was! The service across the board was impeccable.
The venue itself is absolutely picturesque. We toured over 10 venues in the Temecula area, and Callaway truly stood out for its beauty, flexibility, and the sense of ease we felt working with their team. We reached out to them in a bit of a pinch after running into issues with our previous venue in San Diego, and with just six months left to plan, Callaway welcomed us and made everything happen seamlessly.
We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors with stunning views, and then moved inside to the breathtaking barrel room for our reception. Beyond the full wine and bar options, there were so many thoughtful touches and special add-ons we were able to include. One huge perk: tables, chairs, and other essentials were included with the venue fee, saving us time and stress with outside rentals.
It was also incredibly convenient to have two getting-ready rooms onsite for us and our wedding parties, which made the day run so smoothly. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we also want to highlight how much we appreciated the Callaway team going above and beyond to make us feel included and ensuring our guests felt welcomed and celebrated.
It’s a magical venue with an incredible team, and we feel so lucky that we were able to celebrate our wedding here. If you're considering Callaway, do not hesitate!
A dream come true
They are so worth it
The venue layout flows perfectly from beginning to end. The food was amazing, made by Chef Volker and his team, our guests are still giving us their compliments. Our dj who was recommended by them was phenomenal.
We feel like we gained new friends (all of our vendors) along the way. I love that Shelby took the time to really go over things with us, answered many many questions, made sure we did all of our menu and wine tastings, and made sure that my schedules lined up on the day of. A huge thank you goes out to Shelby... without you, I would have been messy, and Samantha, thank you for making sure to come grab me before the ceremony to get a sneak peek of my venue... seeing it for the for the first time after all the planning is something I will never forget. You guys truly made our day special and we can’t wait to come back and see you again for our wine pick up days. Of course we had to join the wine club!
For all you brides out there... you won’t regret picking Callaway as your venue. They’re worth it.

Wonderful Venue
Even after the ceremony, Leah brought us some champagne and some of our cocktail hour appetizers so we could just breathe and take in the moment. In addition to Leah's awesomness, the staff during the reception was incredible. They were really friendly, very attentive, and even our guests were complimenting us not only on the food (which is amazing) but on the staff. Seriously, who gets compliments on the wait staff? We did! Overall, we wouldn't change anything. Our day was amazing, and we owe a large part of it to Leah and the staff at Callaway.
The venue is a beautiful, the views are incredible, the food and wine are delicious, and all our guest throughly enjoyed it.

The beautiful Callaway Winery, is a superb, unique venue choice for Temecula Wine Country: They have excellent service, food & wine with an impressive choice of 6 indoor and outdoor locations to accommodate your event. The large barrel room is perfect for guests of 200 or more and the outside patio with breathtaking views of the vineyards is ideal for outdoor receptions when the weather is nice. Lawn ceremonies and intimate dinning rooms are available and not to mention the newly remodeled tasting room balcony is absolutely awesome! We've had some great celebrations at Callaway and look forward to many more!!
Callaway Vineyard is a beautiful venue located in the heart of Temecula wine country. The atmosphere is elegant from ceremony site to reception location.
