Couldn’t ask for more! Good price, great staff and it’s just so stunning in photos and in person. Their furniture is great and convenient to rent as well. -

We absolutely loved having our wedding at this venue. Everything you need it at the venue and it’s positively gorgeous. The wood work and greenery makes this place such a magical venue. It’s private and fun. It can be casual and elegant. True gem of Vista! -

The Wood Shed was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a venue. We both love local breweries and though it would be fun to have craft beer on tap and the price was reasonable. The Wood Shed also allowed a lot of flexibility with vendors which I really appreciated. We ended up booking a food vendor they recommended which worked out perfectly and going with vendors I found online for the rest. The venue was also very responsive when I had questions which I appreciated. -

Yvette Sent on 06/29/2018This is seriously the most amazing venue, theres just something about it, the moment you walk in you want to get married there. From the beautiful woodwork, to the living plant wall, to the ridiculously good beer. They made the daunting thought of planning a wedding super easy! Alyssa is very responsive and helpful in figuring out how to best utilize the space. Everyone who attended our wedding couldnt get over the space and the people that worked it. We loved that we were able to use our own vendors, gave us the ability to make the space our own. I would recommend this place to anyone! BOOK IT!

Don Sent on 05/11/2018The Woodshed was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment I set foot in the even space, I knew it was where we would have our wedding. (And this was after checking out at least 4 other breweries that worked "on paper.") We loved the look & feel of the space, and who can say no to their amazing craft beers?
As soon as I sent out an inquiry, I got a response from their even coordinator. There were 3 pricing options (depending on the day of the week. I think it was Monday - Thursday, Friday-Saturday, & Sunday) even a "dry" (non-alcoholic) option for those who want to go that route. What my husband & I really appreciated was that there weren't any "hidden fees" or different rates depending upon the guest count. ALSO, the cost of alcohol was part of the venue fee, which we thought was very reasonable.
We had both our ceremony & reception at the Woodshed. It was such a beautiful space that not much was needed as far as decorations go. Everyone remarked about how cool and amazing the venue looked.
the Woodshed/Booze Bros. team was very accommodating too. We were allowed to stop on by & look around, take measurements, etc. in the months leading up to our big day. Alyssa answered all questions I had in a timely manner.
So, aside from the amazing beer & awesome venue, why go with The Woodshed? I'd say the staff puts it over the top. Many guests commented on how nice, friendly, and helpful everyone was. The whole day was so relaxed, fun, and intimate, and The Woodshed contributed to so much of that atmosphere. -

Jackie Sent on 03/27/2018We could not have asked for more out of this venue. From the moment I sent in a request for more information, I knew there was something uniquely better about this venue. The system of response and communication was above and beyond anything I had experienced before. Alyssa was beyond accommodating and quick in every exchange and answered every single one of our tedious questions. Once we scheduled our walk through and set foot into the space, we were smitten. My husband and I had already visited 4-5 venues in or around San Diego and felt fairly discouraged by the amount of work that had to be put into the spaces. The Wood Shed was different. The space is naturally filled with good vibes and energy and that's quickly reinforced by every single person working there. From the wood working, live plant wall and overall ambience, to the sensational beer and limitless possibilities for the space, we were done with our decision making after our visit. We cannot say enough about this venue, in fact I've told everyone I have encountered that is in the process of wedding planning that this venue cannot be beat. Alyssa was on top of making sure I was taken care of through out the reception. We were fortunate enough to have her as our bartender and she had a beer in my hand while our wedding party and I were having our cocktail hour. She also saw me running around entertaining guests during our reception and put another beer in my hand. I barely had time to think that night, but she had my back and made sure I was taken care of. You cannot beat the possibilities of this location, from the choice of catering, to the in house beer and wine options to the spaced itself. We wouldn't change a thing. It was perfection and then some.

Mckenna Sent on 03/20/2018My husband and I got married at the Woodshed. We loved everything about it. We wanted more of a party and a laid back venue. It was everything we wanted and more! We got married in October so we had more succulent pumpkins rather then flowers and everyone loved them! The staff was amazing and so very nice. Once we found the Woodshed, we knew it was our venue. Ps it books very fast!

David Sent on 03/21/2018We could not of been happier with the Wood Shed team. Anytime we had a question, they were a phone call or email away and would get back to us promptly. We did not have a wedding coordinator as we were having a DIY wedding and Alyssa from the Wood Shed was a wealth of knowledge. She had a list for every kind of vendor we could want and that really helped us with our research.
The venue itself is very unique and our guests loved it, they said it was very us, which was awesome. From the living wall, to the unique and amazing lights, chevron wood walling, and the deck outside, it was a really get environment/feel. There is a bar which we got to choose the beers on tap and we had wine available too. The venue had hook ups for our DJ and speakers throughout. The staff were always nice enough to give us multiple tours as we set about figuring out where everything would go on the day. They allowed us to bring vendors and family to show the venue before the big day.
I would highly recommend this venue to any newly engaged couple, or in fact, for any kind of get together, it really helped make our wedding day perfect. Thank you to Alyssa and her staff for helping make the day go by so smoothly! OH! they are also dog friendly!!!! -

The perfect space
Between the space and Alyssa, our reception was everything I imagined! The beer was incredible, the venue is so aesthetically perfect for pictures and Alyssa shared perfect vendor recommendations for their space. -

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
We had our wedding at The Wood Shed on March 14, 2020 and had booked about 6 months advance. We initially fell in love with the venue due to its aesthetic with the amazing chevron wood walls and natural greenery. We had only looked at a handful of other venues, but it was a pretty easy decision for us since The Wood Shed provides full flexibility. We were able to bring in our own caterer, DJ, photo booth, etc. They do require that you use their beer and wine services, but that is pretty much the only restriction you will find.
From the get go, Alyssa was amazing to work with. She is easy to get in touch with via email and provided much needed detail for all of the questions we had (and we had many). She helped us to plan our layout and was incredibly easy going. Day of, everything went so smoothly and could not have asked for a better team.
Overall, if you are looking for a flexible venue with a laidback, unpretentious vibe, book the Wood Shed!
