Wedding Venues in Vista

I am writing this on behalf of my little sister who was just married here last September. She and her new husband had the best day of their lives, and our family is still raving. As her maid of honor, I was there with her at every meeting and present throughout the entire planning process. Laura and Rachel were amazing! Their attention to detail and patience with the extensive correspondence (mom had A LOT of questions lol) really made us feel like we were a top priority. Wedding day was magical and Laura even pulled off a few miracles on wedding day to make the whole event seamless. The Havens was definitely the perfect place to celebrate such a special day! Highly recommend!

Our original venue cancelled on us 3 months prior to our wedding date and luckily River Garden was available the day before (which was close enough for us). A huge plus was the blank canvas concept they have, this allowed us to bring in our own food vendor, especially since we had already booked them! One of their requirements was booking a DJ and Coordinator through their preferred list, which happened to be super easy and helpful for the planning process for me. Communicating with Hanna prior to booking was easy, she had all the answers to all of our questions. Once we officially booked, communication was redirected to their venue manager, Becca. She was helpful when it came to any questions regarding what the venue did or didn't have available. The venue is ultimately a beautiful choice with tons of water features and plenty of photo spaces. It is near the freeway, however with the waterfall wall on, we didn't think it was an issue for us. The venue offers beautiful walnut colored wooden chairs and tables including in the pricing. The ceremony area is the perfect mix of an outdoor and shaded space with the option of multiple backdrops for your ceremony within that area. The reception space is beautiful with plenty of space for guests, and areas additional vendors. The bridal suite has adequate space for getting ready and worked for my small bridal party. However, you aren't able to get into the bridal suite until 10AM, so if you have a bigger group you may have to consider getting ready elsewhere. Another bonus is a new room for grooms to get ready in, which not very many venues offer. There are a few men's restrooms, and plenty of stalls in the women's room with lots of sink space, and even a baby changing table with an additional sink in that space. We had no issues with this venue and would absolutely recommend it based on looks, service and pricing!

Karla with Beloved Weddings is so wonderful to work with. She's a team player, willing to do whatever needs done to make the day perfect. She's sweet, kind and very calm which is great to have with you on your wedding day. If you're looking to have a done-for-you, fun, and beautiful wedding celebration, this is a wonderful option!

Our Wedding was in October of 2024. Planning went off well. I was a very organized and decisive bride so planning was pretty easy using their onsite coordinator. Questions and inquiries were answered promptly. I brought in most of the decor myself and had them place the decor according to plans and schematics that I had created and bound for them. The Majority of decor was executed beautifully. Some didn’t quite make it but our planner did not have as much help as expected due to numerous sick calls. But considering she was the only person decorating both the reception and ceremony area, it turned out beautifully. The food was a bit late to be served due to the sick call issue so things ran a bit later than expected. To accommodate they allowed us another hour for the reception and coordinated with our vendors to extend at no cost to us. Overall our wedding turned out amazing. Our families and guest still talk about it. We couldn’t have been happier that day and reflect fondly on the event.

We had our welcome party dinner at the Woodshed, as we were looking for a large space that would be able to host roughly 100 people. The Woodshed ended up being an awesome space for it and we couldn't recommend it enough. First off, Anndrea was a pleasure to work with. She toured the venue with us, answering all of our questions the day of and afterwards. She was quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire time. Shoutout to Tiffany as well, who was able to help us out on the day of the event, and helped to bar tend. The venue itself is also such a fun space, with fun accents, such as the live plant wall and the fun tap handles. We created a Spotify playlist that we were able to play using the venue speakers, and we even used the projector screen that they had to play our Nintendo Switch games during the welcome party. Street parking was plentiful and our guests ended up loving the venue as well. We would highly recommend the Woodshed for anyone looking for a fun space to host a gathering or party!

Every corner was picture-perfect, and our wedding photos turned out gorgeous beyond words! There truly aren’t enough wonderful things we could say about this venue. From the moment we first inquired all the way to our wedding day, we felt genuinely special and so well cared for. The property is beautifully secluded, and every bit of landscaping feels thoughtfully designed with so much love and intention. The owner of Victoria Ranch also provided her company’s catering, and the food ended up being one of the standout highlights of our day. We received so many compliments on the dinner, the atmosphere, and especially the incredible staff. Victoria Ranch is truly a hidden gem, filled with charming original details from over 100 years ago that make it all the more unique. Joanne and Kiko were wonderfully attentive, incredibly responsive, and made sure every little detail was perfect. We couldn’t be more grateful.
