Hiring Karla Cote as the day of coordinator was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding! She and her assistant, Maria Theresa, were so helpful throughout the entire planning process. What immediately made me feel confident in hiring Beloved Weddings over other wedding coordinators was how professional, attentive, and genuinely excited they were to bring our vision to life for our big day.

In the months leading up, I was able to schedule multiple meetings (both in person and over video calls) between her and our venue to ensure everyone was on the same page. Thanks to Karla’s experience in the wedding industry and thoroughness, important details I would have overlooked were addressed and handled well ahead of time. I was appreciative that she prioritized being there to coordinate the rehearsal the day before, where everyone’s questions were answered. By the end everyone knew exactly where to be and when, and had a good understanding of how the following day would go.

Of course, the what was most important was the actual wedding day. Karla arrived early that morning and we touched base before I sat down for hair and makeup. In the meantime, Karla and her team got to work setting up the tablescapes, designing the most gorgeous sweetheart table, setting up all the other decorations, as well as being in close contact with our multiple other vendors. She completely transformed our venue into everything I ever hoped it could be. The moment I stepped out of the bridal suite and saw our ceremony and reception area for the first time, I was almost brought to tears! It looked perfect! To say I was amazed is an understatement. I realized afterwards I failed to relay so much information on the layout, but Karla knew exactly what to do. She has a very keen eye for detail and what looked good, and her skilled improvisation due to my lack of communication was beyond impressive.

From ceremony to reception, Karla was there directing, delegating, answering questions, while somehow simultaneously being the most welcoming host and ushering our guests to where they needed to go. We brought in a total of 5 different vendors over the course of 8 hours (a photographer, a videographer, a photo bus, the DJ, and the caterer), some of which were scheduled to be there within the short time between ceremony and reception, and she coordinated their arrivals and set locations with absolute precision.

Throughout the course of the day into the evening, Karla also took such amazing care of me. She continuously made sure I had water, refreshments, snacks, plates of food, and literally anything else I needed. I couldn’t have been more grateful. Looking back, I likely would have gone without water and food for a majority of the day if not for her. Karla made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of, and she was my absolute angel. All the while, she made sure the wedding timeline we had created together was followed, and she seamlessly guided us through each scheduled event and activity. We didn’t have to worry about a thing the entire time.

Later on and when the dance floor opened, I had completely forgotten about the two giant boxes of foam glow sticks that were still packed away somewhere. This was until Karla popped up right on time as the amazing Fairy Godmother of the party, and started passing them out to all the guests. This is exactly what I mean when I say that all the details were handled. I don’t even recall if I had told Karla about the glow sticks, yet she discovered them and knew exactly what to do at exactly the right time. The whole day, she was catching things like this, and our wedding could not have gone smoother.

As the evening came to a close, she ensured that my new husband and I left in style and organized a beautiful sendoff of our guests all lined up on either side, cheering and celebrating as we walked through into our new lives as husband and wife. And finally, after an exhausting 14 hours that she was there with us, Karla even stayed late to clean up, organize and pack up everything that needed to come home with us. She went absolutely above and beyond with her service.

I mean it when I say that if I could give Karla and Beloved Weddings 100/10 stars, I would. She was absolutely essential in ensuring that our wedding was not only stress free for us, but a fantastic time for our guests and beyond incredible overall. I am confident that without her, our big day would not have gone even half as smoothly as it did. I will continue to highly recommend Beloved Weddings to every engaged friend and couple that I know.
