Our guests (including some native Richmonders) reaved. "We didn't know this space was here." "What a beautiful venue." "This is the best wedding food I've ever had." "The music and MC was amazing." Note: Alli recommended our DJ!
They helped us plan, stayed flexible to help us customize options, gave great advice, and we didn't have a care except our guests during the event. The few times I went to make sure of some small detail, someone from the staff was already on it and smiling.
They even helped load out stuff we needed to take... and didn't let me forget my bag!

Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party - River View Room
Alli and her team were helpful and very responsive throughout with us and our wedding planner Melissa Vine. We put together a playlist for the night using Spotify and the team made it easy for us to make use of that and provide other A/V needs.
The food was a hit as well! We did steak and lobster and branzino for the rehearsal dinner and an assortment of heavy apps for the welcome party. All very good. The staff on site were more than accommodating to our guests needs.
Amazing experience
A huge shoutout to Alli, our day-of coordinator, who made everything absolutely seamless. She handled everything so that we didn’t have a single worry the entire day. Even in our meetings leading up she was so helpful, patient and honest. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with.
The venue itself is stunning, and the team behind it made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing to anyone!

We met Alli when we first visited The Boathouse to take a peek at the event space and she also worked with us during the planning phase. She was phenomenal. She was very prompt and responsive along the way as me bombarded her with questions throughout the process. She covered everything right down to the last detail. She offered suggestions and ideas that made everything perfect for them. The food was delicious, and everyone raved about the crab cakes and the beef that they chose as menu selections. They thoroughly enjoyed both the food and drinks. Jacob and Derek were amazing – from setup, to waiting on everyone throughout the night, to the wrap up stages, at the end of the evening and they also kept us abreast as the evening progressed.
