My husband and I had a lovely wedding at Hotel 24 South. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and Kristina was the best help! They were very flexible and offered us a beautiful wedding in our budget. The ballroom where the ceremony and reception were held and the hotel rooms are very beautiful. I definitely recommend having your wedding there!

We had our ceremony in the colonnade ballroom, cocktail hour in magnolia south and returned to the colonnade for the reception. The staff was excellent and coordinated everything with our venders! We couldn’t be more pleased!

My wedding party and I stayed in the Stonewall Jackson before the wedding and got ready for the wedding there. They accommodated me with everything I ask for! The staf was super helpful and friendly. I was even able to get some pictures taken in one of there ballrooms.

I don't even know where to begin. We had our rehearsal lunch, wedding ceremony and reception again the Stonewall Jackson and it was literally a dream wedding and more perfect than we could have ever imagined. From day one of working with Joe McDowell and the other staff at the venue we were just so grateful. Every individual that we worked with or even passed in the hall was so welcoming, pleasant and helpful. We have had so many guests approach us with nothing but great things to say about the staff and this venue. I cannot thank this group enough for our perfect wedding and their wonderful, invaluable hard work!

We were married at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in the Colonnade Ballroom on December 28, 2014. The SJH was used for our rehearsal dinner, hotel for bride, groom and guests, the ceremony, and reception. Up to the weekend of our wedding, we worked with Joe. He was extremely helpful and answered all of the crazy, detailed questions that I threw at him, while providing great suggestions. He was easy to work with and was very accommodating. He really worked with us to give us the perfect wedding within our budget.

To start the weekend off, we were looking for a night on the town, which is hard to come by in this area, so we decided to spend some time in the bar in the lobby of the hotel. Our bartender did everything possible to make us comfortable. Drinks were AMAZING, and he even pulled out a boombox so we could listen to music while we spent time there.

The rehearsal dinner was perfect. The front of the ballroom was set up for ceremony, and the the back was set up for dinner. It was a great peak of how things would be set up the next day. The food was delicious and being able to use the same space that the event was taking place in was comforting (i.e. practicing the entrance that requires STAIRS!)

As the day began, the hotel provided us with a meeting room to store things in as well as a space for the girls to get ready! It was perfect as their hotel rooms are a little small. All staff were extremely helpful, the ballroom provided the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception, and everyone's meal was tasty! We got many compliments on the food. The SJH was a picture perfect spot for a fairy-tale wedding!

We had rehearsal Dinner in two of the side conference rooms adjacent to the Shenandoah Ballroom on Friday August 29, 2014. Our ceremony was performed in the Colonnade Ballroom the following day, and the reception was in the Shenandoah Ballroom immediately following the ceremony. We also had a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony in the lobby / Colonnade. A large number of our guests traveled from out of town to be at our wedding, and they all stayed at the hotel as well.
Working with the catering manager regarding food selections & coordinating everything was very easy & convenient. I was a DIY bride & made all my decorations, centerpieces, 'flower' arrangements, etc. The chef worked up a special listing of menu selections to pair with our Craft Beer themed wedding - and all the food was delicious. We asked ahead of time if we could have some to-go containers filled for my husband & I, and brought up to our room - because we knew we wouldn't get much time to eat during the reception. All of the staff was very accommodating & we could not have asked for a better wedding. Everything was perfect!

Working with SJH was a dream. My point of contact, Joe McDowell, was awesome. He is so accommodating, so knowledgeable and so nice. I would highly recommend using SJH for your wedding. Though we didn't have our ceremony at the hotel (we had it at the gardens at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library), it was our rain option. Our cocktail hour, dinner and dancing reception was a huge success - in no small part due to the friendly, efficient, kind staff at the hotel. From the little things - needing ice water in my suite while getting ready, which the front desk sent up immediately - to the big things - planning a dinner for 200 people - SJH was amazing. They went above and beyond on every single item.. I am so, so, so glad we went with this venue over other options. Complete success!

With regard to the food: it was AWESOME. So good. We had so many compliments from our guests on the delicious food! Also, the chef accommodated two special requests for a vegan meal and a gluten-free pescetarian meal without batting an eye and both meals turned out splendidly.

We had our wedding and reception at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel. Both were perfect. Joe was fantastic to work with and answered all my questions quickly. (I had a lot of questions.) There is nothing I would do different. Thank you to the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Joe for making our day fantastic!

Beautiful venue, absolutely amazing staff! Very comfortably accommodated all of the guests, all of my guests loved the hotel and were blown away by the helpful and friendly staff (a month later, I am still getting great feedback from guests, and several have expressed interest in returning to the hotel for their personal vacations). Though no outside food/beverage vendors are allowed, trust me, you don't need them! The chef and catering staff at the Stonewall is phenomenal and the food is delicious. The chef altered the menu to accommodate gluten sensitivity without batting an eye, and the result was fabulous! Everyone at the hotel was very responsive, and always happy to hear out all questions, concerns, and feedback. I cannot say enough good things about everyone. As I told the catering manager, everyone there made things easier than I could have ever imagined! Highly recommend!

I had my wedding ceremony in the Colonnade ballroom and it was breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL! That room made my ceremony so perfect. We put wreathes in the big windows, pedals down the aisle and a few topiary trees in the front and that was all we needed! Also ALL my guests and I stayed in the Stonewall Jackson and loved it. The suites are so big we were able to get ready with our whole bridal party. Stonewall Jackson was truly amazing and made our guests happy and our ceremony beautiful
