Hiring Shelley of Simply Santa Barbara Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

She made everything so much easier, especially as it came to vendor selection, negotiations, and planning. A wonderful person to work with, meeting with her was always pleasurable and always resulted in major decisions being handled.

We were communicating and working with her in the months leading up to our wedding; during the actual month and week of the wedding, she was an invaluable resource that took a lot of the stress out of our day. You don't really know how much needs to be taken care of until the big day starts to get closer, but when the day actually arrived we didn't have to worry about a thing. We were able to enjoy everything, taking in all of the sights, sounds, and wonderful people, with complete trust in Shelley handling everything else.

We absolutely loved working with Shelley. She made us feel comfortable right from the start (working with a coordinator can be a bit awkward if you don't have the right dynamic). She was professional, responsive, warm, and offered so much helpful guidance along the way - while not being pushy and still allowing us the freedom to make the wedding truly ours. And although she was the "day-of" coordinator, she allowed us to set up several calls with her in advance and was always there when we needed her advice before the actual day. Shelley was fantastic. Everything went incredibly smoothly and the wedding was everything that we hoped it would be.
