Where do I begin in telling you how amazing Samantha is and just how much she contributed in making one of the most important days of our life as dreamy as a bride and groom could hope for? My (now) husband and I had the great fortune of finding Samantha on our preferred vendor list from our wedding venue (the equally amazing Dana Powers House). Although Samantha was the first photographer we met with, we both knew from the moment we met her that she was ‘the one’ and that we didn’t need to look any further :)

From her instant warmth and genuinely attentive charm, Samantha just seemed to ‘get’ us. If, like us, you’ve ever wondered how a wedding photographer manages to perfectly capture couples in moments of laughter and make them look incredibly gorgeous, then look no further! Samantha’s magical ability to capture truly authentic and not posed moments is exactly what we were looking for.

As if her exceptional photography skills aren’t enough, Samantha just so happens to offer wedding coordinating services which we also highly recommend her for. While it might not seem possible for someone to pull off both of these HUGE responsibilities simultaneously, Samantha (with the help of her small but mighty and talented team) flawlessly executed both with carefree grace, confidence, and a massive smile on her face.

Throughout our entire wedding planning process, Samantha made us feel valued, heard, and like we were the only clients she was working with (even though we knew she was super busy helping other busy brides and grooms). Samantha not only reminded us to relax and enjoy our wedding day without worry because you can’t redo it, she quickly and quietly dealt with a couple of unforeseen issues that could have caused us a great deal of stress but didn’t, because we knew were were in her very capable hands.

We can’t speak highly enough about Samantha’s talent, expertise, professionalism, and truly infectious personality! She is a treasure and we were simply thrilled with her services as well as the end product. We already want to renew our vows so we can do it all over again!

We hired Samantha to coordinate and photograph our wedding and I am so happy that we did! She is absolutely amazing! Not only did she make our wedding day magical and everything that we had hoped for it to be, she was a dream to work with. She has such a calm demeanor but really gets the job done. There is a comfort about her that makes you feel like you are working with your best friend, which is such a perk when planning your wedding. She dealt with any last minute changes that I made, and never made me feel like she I was asking too much. We haven't received the final photos yet but the sneak peek photos were gorgeous! If you are considering Samantha as your planner, do yourself a favor and hire her!

Samantha was very flexible to come out of her way to meet us at the venue on such short notice. She was very professional and had great ideas for our wedding design. I am still beaming from my wedding day and I have Samantha to thank for planning it all! My husband and I found Samantha online and took a chance on someone we had never met in person. It was the best choice we could have ever made! First, Samantha is super personable, down to earth, and organized. She was able to create a vision for our wedding and deliver. Second, she has the best taste! The vendors that she proposed to us were top quality and fit our vision for the wedding. Every vendor she introduced us to were friendly and amazing to work with. Our intention with hiring a wedding planer was to help me avoid becoming a bridezilla and to not sweat the small things. It worked! Whenever I had a question or needed to communicate with the vendors, Samantha was right there to help me. It was a dream come true! Our wedding was so well run! All of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can not recommend Samantha enough. She is worth every single penny and more!!!

There are so many wonderful things that I could say about Samantha. First off, you're probably here reading through reviews to determine whether you should hire her or not and all I can say about that is just do it! You won't regret having her as part of your wedding team, she is incredible. She is super responsive, leading up to the wedding (probably 2-3 weeks before) we couldn't get ahold of our caterers and she was just a champ about helping us. At no point did I feel completely lost with her on my side, she kept reaching out to our missing caterers but also had a back up plan for us. Also, she just takes control the day of and everything runs so smoothly. At no point was I worried about what was going on at the venue while I was getting ready. She has such an attention to detail! I basically "threw" a couple boxes of decorations at her and didn't really go through how to assemble everything, but she ran with it and came up with something better than I had in my mind. Again, nothing but amazing things to say about this woman, so just reach out to her already!

Samantha did an amazing job coordinating my husbands special day, everything was flawless in our eyes.

For future couples who use Samantha Josette Events and Photography I would recommend them knowing all the details (ex: how signs are going to be made, what ones are to be used (something I didn't have quite figured out when the day got closer). For elderly attending the wedding, it is also smart to have someone picked out to help get them seated. Those are just two main things I found that came up for us, other than that Samantha makes anything that isn't quite configured before seem perfect.

Samantha was amazing. She had such a beautiful vision for our wedding photos. She helped pose us while keeping it authentic and romantic. She’s done all of our family photos and our engagement photos as well.

As a hands on, do-it-myself kind of girl, I have to say I was a little nervous letting someone take the reins on my big day. Ok, a LOT nervous! After all, I was the one that had done months of planning and knew exactly in my mind how everything was going to look and be set up. But then we met Samantha! For our first appointment, we met at our venue and went through initial high-level details. She took detailed notes and I felt like she was really engaged in our event. While we were there, we observed another couple meeting with their planner and my husband and I both agreed that their experience seemed so different. Ours was laid back and felt like we were just old friends conversing. Three hours and a wine tasting afternoon later, we actually did consider Samantha to be a friend! There was a great connection which was really important to us. Fast forward to the month leading up to our big day and this is where Samantha really stepped in and helped coordinate all the details with our vendors. I had several questions during this month and she never once made me feel like I was a nuisance. She was so helpful and was incredibly flexible with some last minute edits due to changes in our guest list. During our rehearsal, we quickly went through our decor and how we envisioned everything getting set up. Given how quickly we ran through this, most people would have had questions and/or wouldn't have followed our direction, but Samantha truly brought our wedding vision to life. During our photo session before the wedding, I asked our photographer if I could take a peek at everything (again, it's the hands on, hard-for-me-to-let-go personality I have). I was blown away at how perfect everything was! She really heard me and understood us. During our wedding ceremony and reception, she and her team were hardly noticeable. She just made things happen! Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more, and we have Samantha to thank for helping make it that way.

Words cannot explain how amazing my experience was with Samantha and her team. She seriously went above and beyond for us. There is no way I would have enjoyed the wedding day or would have been nearly prepared enough if it wasn't for Samantha. I even had red wine spilled on my wedding dress that she made disappear (no joke)!

She helped with vendor recommendations, timelines, checklists, planning all of the teeny tiny details and making everything come together cohesively. Samantha and her team literally thought about every detail and even details I could not have even imagined. She gives her utmost attention to you and is so easy to work with. She made me feel very calm several times throughout the planning process when I felt like losing my mind. Not to mention I changed my mind a bunch, but Samantha was very patient and understanding every single time.

Wedding planning is truly Samantha's passion and that is totally apparent when she plans yours. MME was probably the best investment I made in our wedding and would make the same decision a million times over. You would be making a mistake not going with Samantha as your planner! She's seriously the best!
