Janice helped make our vision a reality and kept everything running so smoothly. Shockingly, we were both so relaxed and were able to enjoy our wedding day with zero crisis or worry (I hear this is very unusual from all of my friends!!). Further, she pointed out corrections and adjustments in wedding contracts where, simply put, she paid for herself. If you don't think you need a wedding planner, you just don't yet realize you need Janice. She is truly a rare find. So, if she is available, book her immediately!

Our wedding venue required a month-of coordinator and they highly recommended Janice and Rue 29. We got Rue 29’s “Wedding Day Management Coordination Package” which included day-of coordination and up to 30 hours of work before the wedding day, but we got so much more value than that! Unlike other month-of coordinators who won’t talk to you until a month before, Rue 29 made sure to set us up for success from the beginning. As soon as we signed our contract Janice shared her list of preferred vendors and introduced us to everyone we needed to know. She seems to know everyone in Napa! She was then so helpful with any questions we had while we were booking vendors and coordinating with them over the intervening months. By the time we got to a month out from the wedding everything was pretty much already set! Janice was so incredibly helpful, super responsive, detail oriented, and extremely professional.

When the wedding day came our day went off without a hitch! We were completely relaxed all day because of the trust that Janice had already built–we knew she would move whatever mountain needed to be moved to make the day perfect. During the day she was the perfect amount of attentive to verify a few last details with us but mostly left us to just enjoy the day while she took care of everything else. She was also so attentive to our families during the day, always making sure they had food and drink and everything they needed, which was such a sweet level of service and care. If you want a coordinator who truly supports you through the wedding planning process and will make you feel completely at ease on your wedding day then hire Rue 29!

5 of 5 Stars. Janice Twomey came to us by way of a referral from the sales and events team at Farmstead by Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena, CA. Jeremy and I are from Boston, MA and had our destination wedding at Farmstead in August 2023. While I work in hospitality at home, managing weddings and many other types of events, we knew that planning our own wedding 3,000 miles away and 3 times zones behind would prove tricky. In stepped Janice and what a joy to work with she was. Janice was always available for a Zoom meeting, a quick phone call, a brief text message or a (sometimes longwinded… hopefully I wasn’t a Groomzilla) email! Since our venue was already determined, Janice jumped right on providing numerous referrals in the world of entertainment (both live and disc jockey), transportation, bakery, officiant, florist, tablescapes, and host venues for our pre- and post- receptions. Janice was instrumental in developing our weekend itinerary with special emphasis on the day of coordination in conjunction with the events team at Farmstead. Janice was exceptionally professional while managing our vendors and ensuring both her and the venue’s itineraries were in concert with each other. She was hands-on and on-site from our ceremony rehearsal on Friday afternoon until after we departed the reception on Saturday night, attending to every detail.
