We hired Erin as our month-of-coordinator, and working with Erin was a great experience and helped make our wedding day run smoothly. She took care of all the details, which allowed us to focus on enjoying the day. Erin was professional, responsive, and handled unexpected challenges—like finding last-minute extension cords for the tent heaters—quickly and efficiently.

We booked Rockfish Valley Events for month-of services for our September 2023 wedding, and we cannot recommend this team highly enough!!! We were overwhelmed by all the details of wedding planning at the outset, but Erin was patient with us and helped us navigate all the details that needed to be addressed. She was able to offer vendor recommendations, crafted our day of timeline, and communicated with our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding. We felt completely confident that everything was taken care of with Erin at the helm. And the Karen was our day of hero!!! It rained on our wedding day, requiring a change of plans to move our ceremony indoors. Karen oversaw every detail and ensured that setup and all of the transitions went smoothly. The day ran on time per our timeline, and my husband and I experienced zero stress. I am certain that Karen put out about 100 fires behind the scenes on the day of the wedding, but we were amazed by how smoothly everything went from our perspective. Seriously, we are so grateful to this team of amazing women - they remained excited and engaged throughout the entire process, and ultimately they helped us have the BEST wedding day!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Erin! She was our day of coordinator for our November wedding, but helped us with a lot of final tasks and communication from about a month out. We considered ourselves to be pretty organized with our wedding planning but Erin really stepped in and made things so much more manageable for us. She is professional, kind, transparent, and quick to respond.

Everything went so smoothly the day of. She did so much for us, even more than we probably still realize, from setting up our decorations perfectly, to communicating with all of the vendors and easing all of our worries. We had zero stress on our wedding day because of her.

Erin and her team did an excellent job keeping us on track with the timeline and keeping everything running smoothly. One of things we appreciated most was the understanding of our needs with our bilingual/Mexican-American Wedding. Erin and Karen of Rockfish Valley were both incredible to work with and provided a stress-free experience for us both during the event and while planning our wedding from out of state. We choose Rockfish as our Month of Coordinator for our wedding, but Erin provided several vendor recommendations as well as advice prior to that period as well. Having worked at our venue previously, the team was able to provide layout and timeline guidance that assured our wedding day ran smoothly. We met with the team twice virtually before the day, but also were able to shoot over quick questions and were always met with a quick and helpful response.

Karen was the team member present on our wedding day, and handled any issues that arose: Including when a groomsmen had the wrong type of shirt and Karen ran out to the closest store to get a new one before the ceremony. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Erin and Karen were a dream team for us from the start - we only handed over the reins for the couple weeks leading up to the wedding, but I felt like they were there for us the entire planning process. I could reach out with any silly question and they would get back to me so quickly and were so helpful. From the first phone call I felt like we were friends and was so excited to have found someone that we meshed with so well! They were the perfect fit for our personalities and needs, my only requirement was that I wanted to be completely stress-free on the wedding day and they delivered that and so much more. Karen was everywhere at once on the day of, managing all of our vendors and guests and somehow also making sure we were fed, had drinks, and were taken care of. She turned my planning and vision into something miles above what I was picturing and I have no idea how! Everything was amazing and so put together. You could not wipe the smiles off our faces the entire day. I wish we could get married again so we could use them more! Thank you ladies for the absolute perfect day - would and will recommend to everyone I know.

We could not recommend Erin and Rockfish Valley Events by Design more! We planned our Virginia wedding all the way from Texas and Erin was responsive and communicated well throughout the entire process. Day of the wedding Erin was very helpful with whatever we needed and made sure things ran smoothly. When we were nervous about chances of rain all day, Erin made sure to keep us calm and even pulled off a last minute decision to hold our ceremony outside when the rain held off. Overall Erin was very professional and a huge reason why our day turned out so perfect!

My husband and I live in Georgia and we planned our wedding in Virginia at an orchard close to where my husband’s family home is. We worked with Rockfish Valley Events by Design for our month-of coordination and I can’t imagine having gone with any other coordinator for our special day. Haley and Erin were very communicative and organized leading up and had so many great ideas. We really appreciate all of Haley’s hard work on our wedding day. She did a great job running the show. As the bride, it was such an easy day for me. My husband (the groom) was a little more panicky that everything wouldn’t come together like we needed it to, but Haley kept reminding him to relax and to just trust her to handle everything. She really made us feel like she cared as much as we did about our day ❤️ Haley and Karen made everything so beautiful, handling all the behind-the-scenes so effectively and elegantly. And Haley was an excellent veil thrower for our photos! We highly recommend this business if you’re getting married in the Shenandoah Valley area, these women are fantastic!
