The BEST team you could hope for!!!!
We booked Rockfish Valley Events for month-of services for our September 2023 wedding, and we cannot recommend this team highly enough!!! We were overwhelmed by all the details of wedding planning at the outset, but Erin was patient with us and helped us navigate all the details that needed to be addressed. She was able to offer vendor recommendations, crafted our day of timeline, and communicated with our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding. We felt completely confident that everything was taken care of with Erin at the helm. And the Karen was our day of hero!!! It rained on our wedding day, requiring a change of plans to move our ceremony indoors. Karen oversaw every detail and ensured that setup and all of the transitions went smoothly. The day ran on time per our timeline, and my husband and I experienced zero stress. I am certain that Karen put out about 100 fires behind the scenes on the day of the wedding, but we were amazed by how smoothly everything went from our perspective. Seriously, we are so grateful to this team of amazing women - they remained excited and engaged throughout the entire process, and ultimately they helped us have the BEST wedding day!!! -

We cannot say enough good things about Erin! She was our day of coordinator for our November wedding, but helped us with a lot of final tasks and communication from about a month out. We considered ourselves to be pretty organized with our wedding planning but Erin really stepped in and made things so much more manageable for us. She is professional, kind, transparent, and quick to respond.
Everything went so smoothly the day of. She did so much for us, even more than we probably still realize, from setting up our decorations perfectly, to communicating with all of the vendors and easing all of our worries. We had zero stress on our wedding day because of her. -

Erin and Karen of Rockfish Valley were both incredible to work with and provided a stress-free experience for us both during the event and while planning our wedding from out of state. We choose Rockfish as our Month of Coordinator for our wedding, but Erin provided several vendor recommendations as well as advice prior to that period as well. Having worked at our venue previously, the team was able to provide layout and timeline guidance that assured our wedding day ran smoothly. We met with the team twice virtually before the day, but also were able to shoot over quick questions and were always met with a quick and helpful response.
Karen was the team member present on our wedding day, and handled any issues that arose: Including when a groomsmen had the wrong type of shirt and Karen ran out to the closest store to get a new one before the ceremony. We couldn't recommend them highly enough! -

Erin and her team did an excellent job keeping us on track with the timeline and keeping everything running smoothly. One of things we appreciated most was the understanding of our needs with our bilingual/Mexican-American Wedding. Erin and her team made our wedding be the stress free, fun, and romantic wedding that we wished for. -

We could not recommend Erin and Rockfish Valley Events by Design more! We planned our Virginia wedding all the way from Texas and Erin was responsive and communicated well throughout the entire process. Day of the wedding Erin was very helpful with whatever we needed and made sure things ran smoothly. When we were nervous about chances of rain all day, Erin made sure to keep us calm and even pulled off a last minute decision to hold our ceremony outside when the rain held off. Overall Erin was very professional and a huge reason why our day turned out so perfect! -

Erin and Haley did an amazing job coordinating the little details of the wedding. It was amazing how smoothly it went! The ceremony was perfect, the reception was set up amazingly with everything even better than I could have imagined, and clean-up was smooth and nothing was lost or misplaced in the excitement and bustle of the day! Most of all, Erin was incredibly professional throughout and a joy to work with and plan with. Highly recommend! -

I am over the moon happy with how our wedding day went and I can’t thank Karen and Erin enough for everything they did for us! The rehearsal went so smoothly and they made a wedding day timeline, ceremony layout, and reception layout for the day. This took so much stress off of me not having to think on my wedding day and actually getting to enjoy it. On our wedding day Karen was on it! Anything we needed she took care of it and everyone was so impressed with how helpful she was. If you are on the fence about using a coordinator….DO IT! It is so worth it and now knowing how worth it was, I would have paid even more $ for how great the service was 😄 again a BIG THANK YOU to Erin and Karen! -

Erin was absolutely fantastic to have as a day-of/month-of coordinator. Starting out wedding planning, I knew that being such an organized planner myself, I didn't need a full fledged wedding planner throughout to pick all of the details out and communicate with all of the vendors. Instead, I enjoyed doing all of this and being so hands on with all of the choices for our big day. However, our venue did require that we hire a licensed day-of coordinator, and boy am I glad that we did!
We were able to start working with Erin about 6 weeks out from the event date and she helped me kind of pull all of the pieces together that I had been working on for about a year. She helped me put the seating chart together and get the information out to all of our vendors which was a piece I was not familiar with so I definitely found that helpful. The biggest help though had to be the day of the wedding. I was kind of a mess, as most brides are, in the morning and was so happy to see her when she arrived to start getting everything together. She really took the stress off of me and my mother (as much as possible since my mom is more of a planner than me) and helped to make sure everything was running smoothly so we could actually enjoy our day and soak up all of the little moments.
Throughout the night, she helped to keep us on our time schedule that we had set, which was actually harder than I thought it would be, as we lost track of time enjoying drinks and food with loved ones we hadn't seen in a long time. I really appreciated having her there to help usher us to the right location, make sure photos were taken at the right time, dances and speeches were made on time, and everyone was having fun but not too much fun. I would definitely recommend Rockfish Valley Events by Design to anyone in the area in need of a day-of or month-of coordinator! -

Planning a wedding ceremony with Erin was truly like planning with the dream friend! She is passionate, detailed, organized, clear, and professional. Erin never skipped a beat while working through curveballs from Covid and our deployments. She kept my husband and me on track (which I really appreciated) and was quick to respond or act on whatever was necessary. I would absolutely use Rockfish Valley Events again for any event in the future. Thank you -

Erin is an amazing wedding planner!! We hired her to be our daughter's month-of-coordinator, and she handled everything for us those last weeks. We started our early meetings via zoom because of Covid, and Erin understood the vibe we were looking for from the very first meeting. She kept all of our vendors informed, she designed the perfect timeline, she helped everyone feel so comfortable at the rehearsal, and she made the day flow perfectly. She loves making the tiniest details a reality, and she also makes it so so fun. We couldn't have done it without her!! -

Erin and Karen were such a great team. They are both responsive and helped me plan out my wedding day during the final month. Karen was in charge of organizing and leading the day of the wedding, and she went above and beyond.
