This property, built over 100 years ago, has been restored and is now ready to welcome in wedding parties. This family run ranch is situated four miles from the New Castle exit off I-70. Once couples and guests arrive, they will be greeted with hospitality and rolling pastures- the perfect setting in which to say “I do.”
Facilities and Capacity
The grounds of the Red Barn Guest Ranch are truly a sight to behold. Couples will adore such elements as the flower-lined stream and romantic wishing well on the property. The buildings are just as charming as well. The red barn, which is 100 years old, provides the perfect amount of character during your ceremony and celebration. Couples can also choose to say their vows in the Carriage House. The veranda is also available, in addition to bridal suites, if needed. You are welcome to invite up to 300 friends and family. If you or your guests want to prolong your stay, accommodations are available.
Because the staff values customer service, they strive to always make sure couples understand the pricing and total amounts. With this in mind, the team also can work with whatever budget you have in place to make sure you have a special and unique event no matter how much is spent. The little details that make up your ceremony and celebration are very important to the staff and they will work hard to ensure all details are just right. Other services to choose from include:

Red barn hosted a memorial service for a very dear friend. They went above and beyond all our expectations. We would highly recommend this venue.

Rustic Feel with Great Views
This venue was everything we were looking for. We wanted a Colorado wedding with good views but also a Texas rustic feel since we are from that area. The venue offered us a great price that included food, servers, bar/drinks, bartenders, linens, tables and chairs. They set up tables, chairs, and linens for us before we had arrived. All other decor/set up you must handle on your own. I recommend getting a day of coordinator. This is a new venue so it was hard to get an answer to questions and also a little disorganized. We were have to reach out to multiple people to get an answer to questions. There was also an issue with guests getting a very small amount of food so they would have to go back several times to get enough food. Overall, we had a good experience. Our guests loved it and our pictures turned out great!

Exhausting, from start to finish
We really wanted to enjoy the day and we had the highest hopes. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, but the brusk, rude management, lack of communication, NO help with setup, disorganization, and overall unprofessionalism of the staff made the whole experience frustrating and exhausting and, frankly, stole the joy from our day. Judy and Sue treated us as though they were doing us a favor by allowing our event, rather than helping and ensuring things went smoothly. Judy was even annoyed when the bride and MOB wanted to shower before the event, saying she didn't want to have to wash the towels! The list of disappointments is too long to detail; I simply cannot recommend The Red Barn Guest Ranch.
