The ultimate family-owned ranch tucked away in beautiful Carbondale makes for the perfect wedding venue!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to host our wedding at Spring Creeks Ranch this past August and could not be more grateful for Tanner and his staff. From get go, Tanner was approachable, communicative, and more than willing to work with us to make his lovely property perfect for our weekend. When we were first interested, Tanner even Facetimed us for an hour and showed us around the barn and property which saved us a huge trip. The whole weekend was immaculate, from fly fishing on the grounds on Friday, hosting our very own 5K fun run on Saturday morning, the wedding and reception Saturday evening, and a sendoff brunch Sunday. The property is absolutely stunning, extremely well maintained, and has super easy access to affordable hotels and the cute downtown of Carbondale. Tanner was absolutely amazing working with our vendors, our planner, and had a slew of recommendations for additional vendors for different last minute things we needed like outdoor lighting to make the weekend perfect. He's not too bad at tossing a veil for photos too!! We could not recommend this family-owned venue more highly.

Unrivaled Colorado Venue With Breathtaking Backdrop

Spring Creeks Ranch is a hidden gem among Colorado's many mountainous wedding venues. My husband and I got married here in June 2022, after previously considering venues in Steamboat, Aspen, Colorado Springs and elsewhere. But Spring Creeks is unparalleled.

For starters, you can't beat a Sopris view as the backdrop to your wedding ceremony and photos, and Spring Creeks' Sopris view is unobstructed and visible throughout the grounds. But it's more than just mountain views. There are red rock cliffs, a running river, a babbling creek, open fields of dandelions, thick trees ... It is a Colorado bride's (and wedding guest's) dream come true.

Beyond the natural beauty, the ranch's barn and pavilion provide the ideal setting for a reception. Unlike other venues in the area, SCR has modern, up-to-date facilities and feels current, clean and crisp while still providing that warm, romantic atmosphere.

Tanner was a great asset in the early stages of our venue search (and a good salesman!) and invaluable the weekend of our wedding. My family loved him.

I wish I could get married here every year (to the same man!). It is breathtakingly beautiful and has everything you could want to host whatever wedding it is you're envisioning. As Tanner says, it's a blank canvas. That does mean more responsibility and details to consider, but it was absolutely worth it in the end.

Also, a bear showed up behind the barn at the end of the reception!

Fun & COVID Safe Venue!

AMAZING Wedding/Event Venue. Shout out to Spring Creeks Ranch for allowing us to have the wedding we dreamed of in a COVID safe fashion. The 35 acres and 5000sq ft event barn allowed us to spread out even more then in a restaurant. Couples were able to stroll through the property sipping wine under the stars. The backdrop of Mount Sopris was breath taking, even for our locals. The venue provided everything our caterer needed for food prep (they have a full commercial kitchen). And Tanner worked with us throughout the day to make sure all the details were taken care of.

If you want a Colorado Wedding, this is the venue. We had to change from another venue 8 days prior to our wedding date, and we were so blessed to find out that Spring Creeks had availability. I really didn't think it was possible to have a wedding like this during the age of COVID, but thanks to the tremendous amount of space and guidance from Garfield County, we were able to. If Tanner at Spring Creeks can make this happen in 8 days, imagine what he could do for your wedding!

They don't care about your special day, they care about your bank account

I thought with it involving my wedding I was being sensitive, but after speaking with several brides with similar situations I would highly recommend going elsewhere! Our wedding was scheduled mid Covid pandemic. The new county guidelines were to come out a week before our wedding, therefore we wouldn't know if they could accommodate our wedding party at all until 7 days before our wedding. After speaking with Tanner he stated that they would graciously save us a change of date fee and we could book on 2021 instead. How kind we thought, well what we later found out was that their prices change in 2021 so we would have to pay $6,000 more than the $12,000 we had already paid. We were blown away at this venue seeming to be all about money. Why would someone send out invites to family all across the nation to not know if we can actually accomadate the amount of people we had planned for. We understand that everyone lost money in the pandemic, but raising prices and not honoring a wedding that is paid for the following year due to Covid is remarkable to me. We were also advised by Tanner that "$6,000 more was nothing. I can help you learn how to save better." Thanks for the advice Tanner but your venue is outrageous in price and doesn't include any of the big price items like chairs, tables, outdoor sound system. You have to pay extra to use their RV hookups, everything is an additional hidden fee at this venue. Beautiful location if you have the money!
