Spanning five generations back, Spring Creeks Ranch is truly the foundation of Carbondale and its river bottom. This is not your stereotypical guest ranch. It is a place of hard work, play, and memories to be made. Choosing to have your wedding here is an active choice in joining the legacy in the Roaring Fork Valley. Walking down the aisle, you cross a narrow bridge over the creek enveloped by a willow tree. As you walk into your ceremony that takes place in the foreground of Mt. Sopris, you hear the sound of the Aspen leaves fluttering in the wind. This place is wild, yet within walking distance to the heart of Carbondale.

The barn features exposed beams, 10 ft. fans, large, rolling glass doors that directly access the patio and adjoining pavilion with scenic views and natural lighting. Additional features include a beautiful fireplace that can be enjoyed all season long, a prep kitchen, in-floor heating, air conditioning within our dressing rooms, and modern amenities.

Location is everything for creating a memorable experience; Spring Creeks Ranch boasts the kind of location people dream about. A short drive from Aspen on Hwy 82 and an even shorter drive from Glenwood Springs, Carbondale sits in the middle of one of the most iconic valleys in Colorado. Experience gold medal fly fishing, golf, road and mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, hot springs, local farmers markets, and summer rodeos along with numerous restaurants all within minutes. Your guests can enjoy the festivities to their fullest with hotels within sight of the venue and onsite RV and tent camping available.

We would love to show you everything we love about the ranch...What are you waiting for?

    Fun & COVID Safe Venue!

AMAZING Wedding/Event Venue. Shout out to Spring Creeks Ranch for allowing us to have the wedding we dreamed of in a COVID safe fashion. The 35 acres and 5000sq ft event barn allowed us to spread out even more then in a restaurant. Couples were able to stroll through the property sipping wine under the stars. The backdrop of Mount Sopris was breath taking, even for our locals. The venue provided everything our caterer needed for food prep (they have a full commercial kitchen). And Tanner worked with us throughout the day to make sure all the details were taken care of.

If you want a Colorado Wedding, this is the venue. We had to change from another venue 8 days prior to our wedding date, and we were so blessed to find out that Spring Creeks had availability. I really didn't think it was possible to have a wedding like this during the age of COVID, but thanks to the tremendous amount of space and guidance from Garfield County, we were able to. If Tanner at Spring Creeks can make this happen in 8 days, imagine what he could do for your wedding!

They don't care about your special day, they care about your bank account

I thought with it involving my wedding I was being sensitive, but after speaking with several brides with similar situations I would highly recommend going elsewhere! Our wedding was scheduled mid Covid pandemic. The new county guidelines were to come out a week before our wedding, therefore we wouldn't know if they could accommodate our wedding party at all until 7 days before our wedding. After speaking with Tanner he stated that they would graciously save us a change of date fee and we could book on 2021 instead. How kind we thought, well what we later found out was that their prices change in 2021 so we would have to pay $6,000 more than the $12,000 we had already paid. We were blown away at this venue seeming to be all about money. Why would someone send out invites to family all across the nation to not know if we can actually accomadate the amount of people we had planned for. We understand that everyone lost money in the pandemic, but raising prices and not honoring a wedding that is paid for the following year due to Covid is remarkable to me. We were also advised by Tanner that "$6,000 more was nothing. I can help you learn how to save better." Thanks for the advice Tanner but your venue is outrageous in price and doesn't include any of the big price items like chairs, tables, outdoor sound system. You have to pay extra to use their RV hookups, everything is an additional hidden fee at this venue. Beautiful location if you have the money!

    Spring Creeks Ranch's reply:

I am sorry you had a bad experience at Spring Creeks Ranch this passed year. There was nothing easy about 2020 and Covid presented unprecedented challenges for everyone. I did my best to work with you throughout the restrictions and I completely understood your decision to cancel mid June. When the state and Garfield County released their event limitations in July, I was thrilled that our capacity could be up to 175 guests but disappointed that we would not be accommodating you. Had your decision waited two weeks, we would have been able to proceed with your full guest count in August.

As a venue, 2020 was only our second year in business with the new event barn. Our pricing was strategically designed to increase each year until we reached our price maturity goal in 2021. However, we have always kept a philosophy with our pricing to sincerely strive to deliver the best experience for the best price and truly be a valued offering in valley.

For your wedding, you selected our Signature 3 Day package, which came with the Barn, Pavilion, Ceremony Meadow and all the amenities the grounds had to offer. The only optional Add Ons we offer are camping and Fly Fishing. All of which is completely transparent from day one. The price you received for your 3 day package with us is similar to what many other venues charge for only 6 - 8 hours of site access and only for one day. Two extremely different experiences for comparable pricing. Even with the price change in 2021, we still are a great value in that regard. We did also offer you the choice of receiving full credit on your wedding if you rescheduled for later dates in 2020, Regular season dates in 2021 or mid-week Peak season dates in 2021. Any of those three options would have been fully credited at no additional expense. Weddings are unfortunately very expensive in this state. But we do feel that we offer more than most venues in terms of our authentic packaging, unique pricing and overall experience here.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with Spring Creeks Ranch and I wish you two could have experienced our full service for your wedding. I truly wish you both the absolute best in your future, prosperity and life as newly weds.
