Blackstone Rivers Ranch is a mountain retreat and wedding venue in the Colorado Rockies, located in Idaho Springs, Colorado. It is situated 35 minutes west of Denver and features carefully designed event spaces with a tranquil atmosphere sure to delight guests. No matter the wedding's theme, the team dedicates themselves to making a couple’s event enjoyable and filled with memories to last a lifetime.
Facilities and Capacity
Blackstone Rivers Ranch is nestled on 22 acres of land with breathtaking riverfront and mountain views. Picturesque creeks wind through the property, which is a vibrant landscape covered in towering trees. As a licensed concert venue, there are no sound restrictions, allowing couples and their guests to immerse themselves in the festivities. There are seven event spaces to choose from, consisting of covered and uncovered outdoor areas and indoor sites. The spaces are designed to lend a relaxed yet elevated air to a couple’s ceremony and reception. A sailcloth tent is also set up on the property in the months of May - October for outdoor weddings to provide shelter in the case of inclement weather. Regardless of whether you choose an indoor or outdoor space, you will be the only one enjoying the stunning venue on your wedding day. The staff is passionate about ensuring that each couple can celebrate their wedding uninterrupted and in privacy. The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests, making it suited to intimate weddings and grand galas alike. Parking is available to make guest transportation more straightforward.

We got married on September 22nd 2024.
Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! We spent countless days planning it, but nothing compared to actually living it with all of our closest friends and family. Blackstone Rivers Ranch was the most perfect venue, from the colorful aspen trees to the river flowing through it. We couldn’t imagine our wedding anywhere else. We look forward to renewing our vows here someday!

The Fever highly recommends the Blackstone Rivers Ranch! Gorgeous Colorado setting! Our clients love how flexible they are and all of the options they offer. We love working with the staff, they're very friendly and accommodating and great partners in timeline management. The venue itself pretty awesome from a band's perspective! Easy access, direct load-in for our gear, plenty of power for a full band, the tent is huge and perfect for having dinner & dancing all together. The ceremony site is right there and it's gorgeous. Ceremony site has power for musicians, if needed, and iPod hookup- everything is right there and ready to go. The staff is eager to assist. They have no early cut off time for music, and a great flow overall. We can't wait to come back and play our next event.
A beautiful mountain venue with cozy quarters for the bridal party to prepare for the ceremony and a private room upstairs for the newlyweds to enjoy their first meal together in privacy. Luxuries such as a fire pit, reclaimed wood tables, and a creek running through the properties are just a few wonderful things about Blackstone Rivers Ranch. The staff is always attentive, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed working here greatly and look forward to the next time we can make a presence here.
