We planned our wedding at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel. The staff made it so effortless and seamless during the entire process. They were quick to respond and happy to assist in any way. The venue is absolutely breathtaking with a beautiful surrounding area to take pictures as well. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

I couldn't have asked for more
My husband is a medically retired marine, so this venue was at the top of our list. We live about 4 hours from the museum so most of the communication we had was over email. We did visit the venue a few times for our tasting and other small meetings. Communication was never lagging. Someone was always on hand to answer the 100 questions I had.
During our one year engagement, both of the employees I was initially working with at the museum quit, leaving me feeling a bit uneasy, but I can say now, I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone but Meghan Lee and Rachael Smith.
They were professional and on hand for me from the moment they took over til we walked out of our reception. The peace of mind those women gave me was such a blessing.
The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was the most fun I have ever had. Our guest raved about the food stations and loved being able to tour the exhibits. We did spend most of our budget on the venue and food. We opted for the open bar with premium liquor and 3 different food stations. It was NOT cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for and It was ALL wonderful.
Overall, I am thrilled with my experience working with Aramark: catering and the Museum Heritage Foundation!

What an amazing location! I wanted a venue for our reception that was unique and meaningful to my husband and I. My husband is a retired Marine and I am a museum junkie! I also wanted it to be a fun and exciting destination as the majority of our guests were from out of town and half are also retired service members. The NMMC fit the bill for everything. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by how good the catering was at our tasting. I had been concerned about not being able to use an outside vendor, but it was not a problem at all. The open bar was fantastic and everyone loved it! Even a friend who is an admitted wine snob was complimenting one of the white wine selections. Pam, Kathleen and Kendall were all wonderful to work with and so responsive. We had a minor crisis with the guest list just an hour before our reception and they handled it without batting an eyelash. Great night and great memories!
Working with the staff at the National Museum of the Marine Corps was a FANTASTIC experience! Our venue contact Kendall was great to work with during all our pre planning meetings with our client. She was onsite on the night of the wedding to make sure that everything ran smoothly. Our Catering Manger Kathleen communicated with us on final catering details and floor plans. On event day, the staff did a wonderful job with presentation and service. We had a pre planned special request for the reception, and the catering team executed the surprise distribution of “la hora loca” props flawlessly. Our couple and guests all had a great time!

This is a fantastic Museum and tribute to the Marine Corp. I was privileged to be allowed to take engagement photos at this location for a client who served in the Marine Corp. My wife and I returned the next day to walk through the museum and were impressed at the exhibits!
