Mona & Andrew are soo wonderful to work with! Wedding planning and working with vendors can be stressful but the two of them were an absolute breeze; very friendly, warm and definitely know how to throw a party! The music was cool, fun, a great mix of modern hits with standards for older guests--Everyone had a blast! Mona & Andrew were also super flexible when we changed some of our songs at the last minute, even looping our processional song seamlessly when it took longer than expected for everyone to get down the aisle. They are both total pros--could not recommend them enough!

Working with Andrew & Mona Amie was a gift from the gods! Before the wedding, Andrew was in touch with us (proactively!) about all our wedding needs. Honestly for anyone else who cares about music deeply, I can't imagine a better collaborator. We handed over 5 different playlists (happy hour, party, dance, salsa, and nu metal [for the groom and his high school friends]) and Andrew took those templates and made them work SEAMLESSLY throughout the evening. The bride's only direction for the evening was "make the vibes cool" and they certainly were.

Andrew also took the time to work with the venue to get set up in the outdoor courtyard and then switch over to inside once the outside curfew hit and had us and our friends and family dancing the rest of the night away. BIBLICAL.

Lila and Jesse from Mon Amie Events were absolutely incredible DJs and made every single audio element of our wedding run smooth like butter. From making sure my niece sounded fabulous playing and singing us down the aisle, to finding the perfect balance of music during cocktail hour and dinner, to keeping us on the dance floor wondering where the time went when the night finally ended. They nailed every part of it.

They took our playlist, completely understood the vibe we were going for, and then seamlessly threw in songs on the fly that fit the energy of the room perfectly. The dance floor was SO much fun, and it felt like they were right there with us, reading the crowd all night without ever losing what felt like us.

We couldn’t have asked for a better soundtrack to our wedding or better people behind it. Thank you to Mona and our DJs Lila and Jesse, for making the whole night sound incredible and for giving us so many memories tied to the music. We will always have “Teenage Dirtbag” 😉

I'm so so glad we booked with Olivia for our wedding afterparty! From our first meeting she helped us lay out the flow of the party starting with a fun entrance to our last song. She understood the vibe of our wedding from some playlists I shared with her, and really delivered. From some 70s disco, to 90s, to Bad Bunny, and lots in between. We loved it all, and highly recommend Olivia!!

From the initial get-to-know-you call to the deep dive logistical sessions that came later, Andrew was a dream to work with throughout our wedding planning process. Day-of, he arrived early to familiarize himself with the venue; provided flawless music for the welcome, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception; and overall brought the positive vibes and energy you need on your wedding day. We are forever grateful and could not recommend him and Mon Amie enough.

Worth every single penny! Mona was the absolute best! She understood what the crowd wanted! She was able to blend so many different genres and cultures in one day! Everyone that danced got a bit of what they wanted! Mona is the absolute best. I would hire her and her team for any and all event!

I booked Higher Love for my wedding DJs, and they were wonderful! From our first meeting, Jesse and Lila were so professional, organized, and very responsive. Right away I trusted that we could depend on them to do a great job. On the night of the wedding they were outstanding and made sure the night went smoothly. Most importantly, they played a great mix of classics and newer requests. I even loved the background music they played during dinner. We've since been getting so many compliments from our guests including that we had "the best wedding DJs" they've ever heard. Highly recommend!

DJ Amanda and DJ Mona are incredible. We were lucky enough to have Amanda for our welcome party and Mona for our wedding reception. Both DJs were incredible and provided the exact vibes we were looking for. Communication was so helpful throughout the whole process. We provided some playlists and must plays/do not plays and Amanda and Mona did amazing. We heard so many compliments on the music from both events. Highly recommend!

We were so fortunate to connect with Amanda, who perfectly suited my husband's eclectic music tastes as well as my own early 2000s nostalgia. She was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with, gave us the perfect soundtrack from start to finish, and did an excellent job serving as MC when we needed someone to make various announcements and move the night along. Andrew did a great job at our wedding, he was great at personalizing the music to our tastes and following our request to avoid more traditional/corny wedding songs. On the day of the wedding, he went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for anyone's wedding!
