Our Process
.) Initial Consultation - in-person meeting or video chat to get to know you and your spouse. We use this stage to determine if we're the right fit for your event! We answer any questions you may have about the process.
.) Signing of the Contract - once you & your partner decide to go with Breakstone Entertainment for your event, we can go over the contract either in-person or over video call. We ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit to save the date with the remaining due 30 days before the event. We scan all copies of the contract so you can have it for your recordkeeping.
.) Musical Consultation - The musical consultation is used to help us determine you & your spouse's musical tastes, songs to play, do not play list, structuring announcements, and just to get a better idea of the attendees & vision for the wedding. We also have the couples fill out our Wedding DJ Packet PDF which gives us the specifics of the event like bridal party, announcements, instructions for Reception vs. Ceremony vs. Cocktail Hour etc.
.) Building of the Set List - Once we have a general idea of the genres requested and specific artists played, we will begin to crate dig for the desired music.
.) Set List Approval - After the Musical Consultation, we will build a set list that will be the pool of music used for your wedding and will send it to you & your spouse to approve of the music used. This stage might take a few rounds of back & forth so we like to give ample time to both the couple & ourselves for the Set List Approval stage.
.) Rehearsal of Announcements - Once the set list is approved, all that is left is the finalization of the announcements to ensure that the right people, the right music, and the right announcement is all lined up.
.) Time to Party! - The last step (which I have to admit is my favorite step) is to celebrate and have a good time! You and your spouse can rest assured that the music played throughout your event will be custom tailored to your criteria, so you folks can focus on enjoying the moment.
