We hired BPM for our wedding in October 2022. We worked closely with Sam, but he also brought Peter to make sure everything went perfectly smoothly for our big day. Sam met with us beforehand multiple times to get really specific and thoughtful touches right for our big day. He asked so many questions that I wouldn't have considered, and made it crystal clear that he was going to tailor this experience exactly to our tastes. And he really did. The lighting that BPM provided was so perfect and really set the right vibe for the whole event. The photobooth was a massive hit. And the MUSIC- omg! From a mashup of every Britney Spears song (which led to an EPIC dance-off) to a perfect closing song at the end of the night that had the whole room swaying together in a big circle. The vibes were PERFECT and the music carried the whole night.
And, of course, on your wedding day, some unplanned stuff is bound to happen. We decided at the last minute to not make a big entrance and move some speeches around. Sam was there to make sure it went smoothly. We felt like we wanted to change the lighting on the dance floor when it started getting rowdy and needed permission from the venue. Sam was there to make sure it went smoothly. We had issues with the way our venue set some stuff up. Sam was there to fix it. I have never felt more at ease or taken care of. We had great vendors for our big day, but BPM was by far the best of them all. Hiring them was the best decision we made for our entire wedding, hands down. What I learned from this process is you really just want vendors who will listen to your vision and then you let them handle it so you can enjoy yourself. That's what BPM gave us, and we will forever be grateful.

Peter was amazing and kept the dancing going all night at our wedding. We had a wild mix of people and we worked with Peter to make sure that everyone got some of their favorite songs while never stopping the energy in the crowd as we transitioned genres. Peter was a great energy and people talked about how much fun they had dancing and specifically mentioned how great the DJ was. Highly recommend Peter!

We cannot say enough good things about DJ Nique. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and genuinely invested in getting to know us—not just our music preferences, but who we are as people and what we wanted our wedding to feel like. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all DJ experience; everything was thoughtful, intentional, and completely personalized to us. On the day of the wedding, DJ Nique absolutely delivered. He MC’d the entire event seamlessly—everything flowed smoothly, transitions were flawless, and his coordination with the venue was spot-on. It was clear he knew the space extremely well, which made the whole day feel effortless and stress-free for us. He was also impressively flexible and adaptable. When his DJ setup needed to move to a different location within the venue mid-event, he handled it without missing a beat and adjusted everything quickly and smoothly. He read the room beautifully, and the energy on the dance floor was exactly what we hoped for. Most of all, what stood out was how much he cared. DJ Nique truly wanted our wedding to be special, and it showed in every detail. I am biased but we had the BEST wedding ever! Jackiie was our coordinator and it was the most relaxed process and wedding day ever. I did not hear a peep from one vendor and when I woke up, all of my stuff - cards, dresses, jewelry, everything was magically packed up in my room. We looped her in to emails and then dipped - she really took care of everything else and was super responsive and full of ideas. DJ Peter Piper was THE best. You should 1000000% hire him. Very thorough with set up, clearly passionate about music, makes playlists and asks for your approval (if you want to give it). Our dance floor was so hot that I literally missed all of the fun apps and cocktails we had planned because I could not remove myself. We have gotten nonstop amazing feedback from our guests and are so appreciative of Jackiie and Peter!

There's nothing a DJ could have done to do a better job than Peter did for my wedding. His playlists were exactly what we wanted. His feel for the night was perfect. He is endlessly amenable, and also technically excellent as far as audio design for different rooms. Cannot recommend any more. Sidenote: I hadn't met the man before my wife got the DJ rec - this ain't a friend review, I just want talent and hard work recognized.

Sam from BPM Events was the perfect DJ for our Brooklyn wedding. From our first conversation with him, it was clear from the questions he asked that he’s a total pro. Our musical direction was pretty varied, and he did a great job bringing it to life. He nailed all the music cues in the ceremony, let us build our own cocktail hour playlist, created a great vibe during dinner, and then played hit after hit on the dance floor. He also brought great energy, with his signature Prada bolo tie and chill vibes. We’d definitely recommend BPM Events/Sam Turner – you won’t be disappointed!

BPM Events!!! Sam Turner is professional, kind, and took the eclectic music that we wanted to hear and kept our dance floor full all night! When the goths are dropping like it’s hot to Boriqua Anthem and relatives are slam dancing to I Will Have That Power, you’ve succeeded. He also ensured the audio was perfect for all of our special moments.

Sam went above and beyond for us in making sure our own music tastes were reflected but that it was also fun for our older relatives. Incredible music experience for drinks and dinner, and everyone on the dance floor kept telling us how great the music was. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, we are so thankful and thrilled for his expertise!

We chose Sam through a quick Google search of DJ's between the Albany and NYC area. From day 1, it was a seamless process, and Sam was in constant communication with us making sure our music needs were met. It was a simple process, where we outlined our itinerary and provided him the general vibe of the music we wanted. It involved a quick form to fill out of music we wanted vs. do not play. He did a masterful job of gaging the energy of the guests, and matching that with the right music! I would recommend Sam 100 times over even though getting married usually happens once!

From our very first meeting, it was clear that she had not only the skills and the talent, but also the heart, soul, and positivity that makes the wedding experience so meaningful and memorable. Jackiie made the planning process feel easy - her communication was clear, thorough, and organized. She has tremendous attention to detail and kept us on track with everything from the big to-dos to the small details we didn’t even know existed. She enabled the entire day to run smoothly and allowed us to feel like guests at our own wedding. She made it a point to really understand our “vision” and get to know us.
