Mary is without a doubt the hardest working and most capable event planner I have ever worked with! She is SO proactive and trustworthy. As the parents of the bride, we were able to really just enjoy the wedding instead of managing the event. Mary was an expert in all categories of our wedding. All of the vendors she suggested were 10/10. She knew our venue in and out and was able to ensure our plans and ultimately our wedding ran beautifully. She supported us from start to finish and we couldn't have done it without her. Booking Mary was the best decision we made for our wedding. From day one (over a year out!) she was the absolute best to work with. Monthly meetings going over absolutely everything and she was always an email away if anything came up. She has wonderful vendor recommendations and is truly so talented at what she does. We cannot recommend Mary enough! We found her through our venue and booked her in November 2024 for our August 2026 wedding. But what made working with Mary so special was not just how good she is at what she does, it was how much she genuinely cared about us. Throughout the planning process she became our friend. She always wanted what was best for us, and that came through in every conversation and decision. There were certainly times when I was apprehensive to hear her honest opinion, but looking back, I am so grateful she was willing to redirect some of our ideas when needed. She knew how to keep our vision realistic while making sure everything came together in the best possible way. She was never just telling us what we wanted to hear, she was looking out for us, and that made all the difference.

On our wedding day, Mary and her assistant, Gerri, did absolutely everything. They set everything up, kept everyone on schedule, handled the details, and broke everything down at the end of the night. They were there for anything and everything we needed, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding. We never had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes because we knew it was in the best hands.

Mary was an incredible wedding planner to work with. She was attentive to every detail, flexible with our schedule, and always present and engaged throughout the entire process. Working with Mary Jacobs was the only thing keeping me sane while planning our wedding. She made sure that all we had to do was show up.

During our initial meet in October 2024, we went over what our dream wedding looks like. We initially thought we were going to get married in the spring of 2026, but when we backed it up to November 2025, she said no problem and did the rest.

She found us three venues and we visited two, and when we picked our favorite, everything started falling into place.

Mary found us a venue that caters, a photographer, a DJ, a hair and makeup artist, where to get our suits, and where to get our decorations.

We had meetings every month to go over what to do next and to keep everything on track. She broke everything down into small manageable pieces so we were never overwhelmed.

Mary did all of the coordination with our vendors the whole week leading up to the wedding so all we had to do was show up.

Mary came out the night before with another member of her team, Gerri, to set up at the venue during our rehearsal dinner. We did our rehearsal, and an hour later Mary came down and told us everything was already set up. We didn't lift a finger.

On the day of the wedding is where she really shines. She did everything, and I really mean everything. She made everyone a schedule, she did all the setup, she did all the teardown, and she packed it all into our van without us having to think about anything.

Mary and Gerri stayed with us all day so that both my groom and I had someone all day to keep us on track. During the day, they kept us on track, during the ceremony they coordinated perfectly, and during the reception, she made sure we were having fun! One of her most clutch moments was coordinating with the bar to cut off a family member who became a problem. We didn't even notice.

All we did was show up. Mary Jacobs gave us the perfect wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. She is worth every penny and more.

Mary was incredible in orchestrating the months leading up to the wedding & then for the entire day of the wedding! She kept us on track as far as the wedding timeline. She was quick to respond to any questions which was much appreciated especially when the wedding day was near. Nothing but good to say in regards to her professionalism and ability to get the job done :-)
