Capturing Moments and Magic

Susan Blackburn of Blackburn Portrait Design captured the the love and joy of our wedding day perfectly! I first saw Susan's photos of a friend's wedding and was blown away. Susan took photos of every moment requested and so many more I didn't realize I'd want but am so thankful to have. Throughout the reception we didn't even notice her snapping most of the shots. She always made us feel comfortable and never self conscious. Her colleague Jim joined us on the day and was equally as skilled, professional, and fun! The day after the wedding as we were enjoying our coffee I got the alert Susan had a posted nearly 70 photos as our sneak peak! To right away be able to look back on the night was unexpected and the perfect was to relive it with our loved ones. Since then working with Susan to receive the photos and build our album has been a breeze. Susan will capture the magic of the day so that you will remember forever!

Simply amazing experience!

We hired Blackburn Portrait Design to photograph my daughter's destination wedding in Salt Lake City as well as a reception here in New York. Sue's eye for detail was exceptionable. The photographs are beyond amazing! The memories and moments that she captured are priceless! Sue was also very helpful in giving us tips for the wedding and setting up a timeline for the day. I highly recommend Blackburn portrait design for your wedding, or any occasion.

Susan is amazing!

Susan was amazing! She was very detailed in asking what photos we wanted. There were a few we didn't get and that was entirely our fault ( I was late LOL). We requested a photo journalistic style and she did a fabulous job with that. When we got our USB of photos there were so many that we both said "wow, I didn't event see her there taking pictures". We called her "stealth" many time. Several of our guests who had more time to observe said she was amazing...she was laying on the floor at points..on the ground etc...just to get the perfect shots! She is very pleasant and accommodating with your wishes. She is SO easy to work with! We are inquiring about future photography needs with her also. You will be pleased!. I'd love to share ALL of our photos so you can see, but i will share a few of our favorites.

Susan did a fantastic job and understood the typse of photos that we wanted to capture. Working with Susan throughout the big day was effortless, and our guests had exclaimed afterwards that they didn't even notice her, which is exactly what we wanted in a photographer! One who is unobtrusive, yet there to get those amazing candid shots that all the posing in the world couldn't produce.

To begin with, my husband and I are not picture people. We decided to hired Susan Blackburn, Blackburn Portrait Design. I can't express how happy we are with the photo teasers she showcase of our wedding. I can't believe how spectacular the photos turned out. Susan was great to work with. she definitely has a creative eye to capture the beauty. I'm so happy we found her and I know the rest of our wedding photos are going to be amazing.

Susan was fantastic! She listened to what we wanted, and gave us amazing winter wonderland pictures of our wedding. Every detail was captured so elegantly in Susan's photographs. And she's very sweet and easy to work with. I also love the fact that Susan wasn't afraid to get her boots dirty. We wanted picture of our sleigh ride, so Susan jumped into snow and took some fabulous pictures.
And the finished product came in this beautiful box. I highly recommend Susan for your event.
